Definitions
- the invention relates to a hat razor with a handle, at the front end of which a razor head carrying a razor blade is arranged, a rotating device being provided in the region between the razor head and the handle area of the handle, by means of which the razor head with its razor blade is turned relative to the handle area of the handle an axis of rotation perpendicular to the cutting edge of the razor blade is freely rotatable.
- a wet shaver of this type is known from GB-PS 610 997. It has a handle, at the front end of which a razor head is rotatably arranged, which carries the razor blade. For this purpose, an axis is rotatably mounted within the handle, at the front end of which the razor head with the razor blade is fixed.
- the handle In order to be able to switch off the rotary motion of the razor head during shaving, the handle consists of three sector-like handle parts, which can be moved inwards by appropriately gripping the handle in such a way that the axis can no longer rotate within the handle.
- the known hat razor with the freely rotatable razor head initially has the disadvantage that the resistance forces occurring during shaving lead to very rapid deflection and thus adjustment of the razor head. This does not lead to an optimal shaving result.
- the razor head remains in the respective rotational position after lifting off the face, so that for the subsequent shaving process Shaver head must first return to its original position. This is done in that the razor head is pivoted back when pressed onto the face, which also affects the comfort of shaving. Alternatively, the user can turn the handle into the new position, which is also cumbersome.
- the object of the invention is to further develop the known wet shaving apparatus in such a way that the rotating device is improved while avoiding the disadvantages of the known shaving apparatus.
- a spring return device assigned to the rotating device is proposed, by means of which the shaving head can be automatically returned to the starting position, starting from a predetermined starting position after limited deflection due to the spring force.
- the spring return device assigned to the rotating device has the advantage that the resistance forces occurring during shaving do not lead to deflection and adjustment of the razor head and thus the razor blade so quickly. Overall, this leads to a very gentle and thorough shave.
- Appropriate design of the spring allows a well-defined resetting behavior to be created, the limit for the torque preferably being between 10 Nmm and 100 Nmm.
- the spring return also has the advantage that the razor head with the razor blade returns to the predetermined starting position after lifting off the face.
- the deflection is limited by stops.
- the deflection is preferably limited to a maximum of approximately 30 ° in both directions of rotation, starting from the starting position. This has the advantage that there is no critical movement component in the direction of the razor blade edge, which could lead to cut injuries.
- This critical angle is approximately plus / minus 30 °, so that for the reasons mentioned above, a movement beyond this angle should be prevented by the stop according to the invention.
- the angle can also be less than 30 °.
- the grip area of the handle is formed by a sleeve which is rotatably mounted on the actual handle and the spring is supported between the and the actual handle. During the shave, the user will therefore grip the sleeve, within which the actual handle can then rotate freely against the spring force and thus optimally adapt to the contour of the face.
- the spring is preferably a helical spring which, in the region of the sleeve forming the grip region, surrounds the actual handle located on the inside. This represents a technically simple possibility for the formation of the spring return device, whereby a well-defined spring behavior can be generated by the corresponding formation of the helical spring.
- the sleeve is arranged essentially in the central region of the handle. This means that the actual, rotatable handle is still is accessible, especially at the lower end of the handle. This has the advantage that by appropriately reaching around both the sleeve and this section of the actual, rotatable handle, a locking by the user is possible, by means of which the user can easily prevent the rotary movement if necessary.
- the rotating device is formed in the front region of the handle. This can be achieved technically in a very simple manner, the front part of the handle being rotatable together with the razor head and its razor blade with respect to the rear part of the handle having the handle area. In this way, a stable connection is created between the handle and the razor head, but it is also fundamentally conceivable to arrange the rotating device between the front end of the handle and the razor head.
- the axis of rotation of the rotating device lies in the longitudinal central axis of the handle.
- the axis of rotation of the rotating device extends perpendicular to the plane of the razor blade. This enables optimal shaving results to be achieved.
- a razor blade unit which is separate from the razor head and is known per se, can be provided for the razor blade and is pivotably arranged on the razor head.
- the razor blade unit can be both around an axis parallel to the cutting edge and additionally about a perpendicular axis to be arranged on the razor head so that, together with the rotatable arrangement of the razor head on the handle, a gimbal suspension of the razor blade with oscillation possibilities about a maximum of three axes is created.
- Both embodiments of a wet shaver shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 each have a handle 1, at the front end of which a shaver head 2 is arranged, for example can be plugged on.
- a razor blade 3 is fixedly arranged in the razor head 2.
- the plane of the razor blade 3 includes an acute angle with the longitudinal central axis L of the handle 1.
- the handle 1 consists of a rear part 1 'and a front part 1 ⁇ .
- Fig. 3 shows that the front part 1 ⁇ at its lower end Connecting rod 1 ′′′, on which the rear part 1 'of the handle 1 is screwed tightly, so that the rear part 1' is firmly connected via the connecting rod 1 ′′′ to the front part 1 ⁇ .
- a sleeve 4 is rotatably mounted about the longitudinal central axis L of the handle 1.
- This sleeve 4 forms the grip area for the user and defines a rotating device 5, by means of which, when the user firmly grips the sleeve 4 defining the grip area, the rear part 1 ', the connecting rod 1 ′′′, the front part 1 ⁇ of the handle 1 together with the razor head 2 and the razor blade 3 is freely rotatable about an axis of rotation D perpendicular to the cutting edge 5 of the razor blade 3, in this embodiment the axis of rotation D of the rotating device 5 lies in the longitudinal center axis L of the handle 1. Accordingly, the plane of rotation is perpendicular to the longitudinal central axis L of the handle 1.
- a spring return device 6 is assigned to the rotating device 5 and defines a starting position of the shaving apparatus.
- This spring return device 6 has a spring 7 in the form of a helical spring, which surrounds the connecting rod 1 ′′′ of the handle 1 and is fixed with one end in the front part 1 ⁇ of the handle 1 and the other end in the sleeve 4.
- a stop 8 is provided between the front part 1 ⁇ and the sleeve 4, which can be seen in FIG. 4 and which limits the rotary movement of the razor head 2 with respect to the sleeve 4 on both sides to 30 ° from the starting position.
- the sleeve 4 is provided with a radially inward projection 9 and the front part 1 ⁇ of the handle 1 with a partially annular recess 10.
- the handle 1 consists of the rear grip area 11 and the Handle front part 12 on which the shaver head 2 is arranged.
- a turn device 5 is again provided between this handle area 11 and the handle front part 12 of the handle 1.
- the axis of rotation D is inclined with respect to the longitudinal center axis L of the handle 1 and extends essentially perpendicular to the plane of the razor blade 3 arranged in the razor head 2. Accordingly, the front end of the handle area 11 is chamfered in the area of the rotating device 5 of the handle 1.
- the rotating device 5 of this second embodiment can be designed in a suitable manner, for example by the handle front part 12 being rotatably mounted in the handle area 11 via a pivot pin.
- a suitable spring return device must also be provided.
- the design of the rotating device 5 in the handle 1 optimally follows the razor head 2 and thus the razor blade 3 of the face contour during the shaving process in both embodiments.
- the razor head 2 is always correctly aligned without, for example, the risk of tilting.
- the spring return device 6 prevents the razor head 2 from being deflected and adjusted too quickly by the resistance forces that occur during shaving.
- the spring return device 6 ensures that the razor head 2 returns to the defined starting position after lifting off the face.
- the razor blade 3 is fixed in the razor head 2.
- a so-called razor blade unit in which the razor blade is embedded in a non-detachable manner in a plastic housing, which in turn is held on the razor head, for example by means of a fork holder.
- the razor blade unit it is additionally possible for the razor blade unit to be mounted on the razor head so as to be oscillatable about an axis parallel to the cutting edge of the razor blade.
- the razor blade unit it is also conceivable to allow the razor blade unit to swing about an axis perpendicular thereto, so that a gimbal bearing of the razor blade 3 with optimal adjustment options is then created.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a hat razor with a handle, at the front end of which a razor head carrying a razor blade is arranged, a rotating device being provided in the region between the razor head and the handle area of the handle, by means of which the razor head with its razor blade is turned relative to the handle area of the handle an axis of rotation perpendicular to the cutting edge of the razor blade is freely rotatable.
A wet shaver of this type is known from GB-PS 610 997. It has a handle, at the front end of which a razor head is rotatably arranged, which carries the razor blade. For this purpose, an axis is rotatably mounted within the handle, at the front end of which the razor head with the razor blade is fixed. In order to be able to switch off the rotary motion of the razor head during shaving, the handle consists of three sector-like handle parts, which can be moved inwards by appropriately gripping the handle in such a way that the axis can no longer rotate within the handle.
The known hat razor with the freely rotatable razor head initially has the disadvantage that the resistance forces occurring during shaving lead to very rapid deflection and thus adjustment of the razor head. This does not lead to an optimal shaving result. In addition, the razor head remains in the respective rotational position after lifting off the face, so that for the subsequent shaving process Shaver head must first return to its original position. This is done in that the razor head is pivoted back when pressed onto the face, which also affects the comfort of shaving. Alternatively, the user can turn the handle into the new position, which is also cumbersome. Finally, it is disadvantageous in the known wet shaver with the endlessly rotating shaver head that when shaving, especially in longer strokes beyond the chin area, the shaver head is rotated with the razor blade in such a way that such a dangerous angle to the direction of movement is established that a movement component in the direction of the The cutting edge of the razor blade is created. This movement component can lead to cuts if the angle exceeds a critical value.
Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is to further develop the known wet shaving apparatus in such a way that the rotating device is improved while avoiding the disadvantages of the known shaving apparatus.
As a technical solution , a spring return device assigned to the rotating device is proposed, by means of which the shaving head can be automatically returned to the starting position, starting from a predetermined starting position after limited deflection due to the spring force.
The spring return device assigned to the rotating device has the advantage that the resistance forces occurring during shaving do not lead to deflection and adjustment of the razor head and thus the razor blade so quickly. Overall, this leads to a very gentle and thorough shave. Appropriate design of the spring allows a well-defined resetting behavior to be created, the limit for the torque preferably being between 10 Nmm and 100 Nmm.
The spring return also has the advantage that the razor head with the razor blade returns to the predetermined starting position after lifting off the face.
In a preferred development, it is proposed that the deflection is limited by stops. The deflection is preferably limited to a maximum of approximately 30 ° in both directions of rotation, starting from the starting position. This has the advantage that there is no critical movement component in the direction of the razor blade edge, which could lead to cut injuries. This critical angle is approximately plus / minus 30 °, so that for the reasons mentioned above, a movement beyond this angle should be prevented by the stop according to the invention. Of course, the angle can also be less than 30 °.
In a preferred constructive embodiment, the grip area of the handle is formed by a sleeve which is rotatably mounted on the actual handle and the spring is supported between the and the actual handle. During the shave, the user will therefore grip the sleeve, within which the actual handle can then rotate freely against the spring force and thus optimally adapt to the contour of the face.
The spring is preferably a helical spring which, in the region of the sleeve forming the grip region, surrounds the actual handle located on the inside. This represents a technically simple possibility for the formation of the spring return device, whereby a well-defined spring behavior can be generated by the corresponding formation of the helical spring.
A further development suggests that the sleeve is arranged essentially in the central region of the handle.
In a preferred embodiment of the rotating device, it is formed in the front region of the handle.
In order to provide good guidance between the rotating parts and thus optimum stability, it is proposed in a further development that the surfaces of the rotating parts lie flat against one another in the region of the rotating device.
In a first embodiment, the axis of rotation of the rotating device lies in the longitudinal central axis of the handle. In an alternative second, preferred embodiment, on the other hand, the axis of rotation of the rotating device extends perpendicular to the plane of the razor blade. This enables optimal shaving results to be achieved.
In a further development, a razor blade unit, which is separate from the razor head and is known per se, can be provided for the razor blade and is pivotably arranged on the razor head. The razor blade unit can be both around an axis parallel to the cutting edge and additionally about a perpendicular axis to be arranged on the razor head so that, together with the rotatable arrangement of the razor head on the handle, a gimbal suspension of the razor blade with oscillation possibilities about a maximum of three axes is created.

Both embodiments of a wet shaver shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 each have a
In the first embodiment according to FIG. 1 and with the associated FIGS. 3 and 4, the
A spring return device 6 is assigned to the
Furthermore, a
In the alternative embodiment in Fig. 2, the
The
The design of the
In the illustrated embodiments, the
