Abstract

184,114. Jones, W. H., and Jones, E. Dec. 8, 1921. Point - protectors for pins.-A pointprotector for ladies' hat pins &c. consists of a cylindrical springy tube C, open at both ends and split down one side only, entirely enclosed and secured within the bore of the protector D, the tube having a reduced portion C<1> which engages with a groove B in the pin A. The tube C may be surrounded by a rubber tube G and abut against a piece of cork &c. H for the pin point. A bell-mouthed metal bush E may be used to keep the tube C in place.
