Definitions

  • the invention relates to a linear luminaire according to the preamble of claims 1 or 3.
  • Such a linear luminaire has a housing made of electrically insulating or possibly metallic material, which is covered with a U-shaped trough made of transparent material with the interposition of a seal. Inside the linear light there are one or possibly two fluorescent lamps which are supplied with power via the power supply devices present in the linear light. The electrical components are attached to the housing.
  • a linear luminaire In particular in hazardous areas, a linear luminaire must meet certain regulations. On the one hand, a certain tightness between the outside environment and the inside of the luminaire is required. Because of the danger The luminaire must not be able to be opened by explosive mixtures surrounding the ignition when the electrical components are live. It is therefore necessary that the power supply to the fluorescent lamps is switched off before the tub is removed. To connect the housing to the tub, an externally operable locking device is provided, which at the same time also actuates the switching device provided in the linear light to switch off the power supply.
  • hinges are provided on one long side for releasable connection of the trough to the housing, whereas locking elements are provided on the other long side inside the linear luminaire, which are coupled to the housing in the housing and with projections, in particular pins, on the trough work together.
  • a drive pin is guided to the outside, which can be actuated by means of a tool.
  • Slide elements interact with the pins, on which hook-shaped eyelets are formed, which engage behind the pins on the tub.
  • a linear luminaire of the type mentioned is known from DE 10 19 009 B.
  • This linear luminaire has a central lock with sliding rails that can be moved on both longitudinal side walls of the lamp housing, which are moved by a manual operating lever that acts on a push rod that rotates a pivoting lever that couples the two clamping rails together, so that the two clamping rails rotate in opposite directions over the pivoted lever mounted in its center be moved.
  • the tensioning rails have slanted slots, which engage in the locking brackets, which are moved up and down perpendicular to the direction of displacement due to the oblique slots when the tensioning rails are moved by operating the manual control lever.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a linear luminaire of the type mentioned at the outset, in which the tightness is ensured throughout its entire service life and is essentially avoided in the case of stress corrosion cracking due to excessive local loads.
  • a slide element on each side of the housing, which overlaps the entire length of the lamp and is continuously acted upon by a spring, which can either be a tension spring or a compression spring, and by means of a suitable one , can be operated from the outside drive against the force of the springs from the locked position to the unlocked position.
  • a spring which can either be a tension spring or a compression spring, and by means of a suitable one , can be operated from the outside drive against the force of the springs from the locked position to the unlocked position.
  • two slide elements are provided on each side of the housing, each of which is acted upon by a spring and can be moved against one another by the drive.
  • a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention can be found in claim 2.
  • the eccentric drive moves the slide elements against the force of the springs for the purpose of unlocking and the springs are released by the eccentric drive when locking.
  • each slide element is acted upon independently of the other in the direction of closing the cover trough .
  • the slide elements can be guided on the reflector so as to be displaceable.
  • One end of the springs can be connected to the slide elements and the other end can be connected to the reflector, so that a relative displacement with respect to the reflector is achieved.
  • only one tension spring can be provided for two slide elements that can be moved relative to one another.
  • the reflector forms a preassembled unit with the slide elements, the overall assembly of the housing is considerably simplified.
  • the known rotary hinges are no longer required, but nevertheless there must be a connection between the housing and the tub to open the tub so that the tub does not fall when unlocked , is or are, according to the characterizing features of claim 15, on one long side, preferably on the side which is remote from the actuating side of the locking device, one or more tabs which are connected on the one hand to the tub and on the other hand to the housing, in particular preferably the attachment to the tub is a slidable and adjustable attachment.
  • a linear luminaire 10 has a housing 11 and a transparent trough 12 connected to it, the linear luminaire 10 receiving two fluorescent lamps 13 and 14, which are only shown in broken lines in FIG. 1.
  • the housing 10 has a bottom part 15, on which two side parts 16 and 17 are formed in a U-shape, so that this also results in a trough shape of the housing.
  • the free edges of the side parts 16 and 17 are provided with an L-shaped bend 18 which runs around the walls, the side parts 16, 17 and the end walls (not shown) which connect the side walls at their ends. Accordingly, the offset is also designated on the side part 17 with the reference number 18.
  • the crank 18 there is also a circumferential sealing surface 20 which runs parallel to the bottom surface of the bottom part 15 and which cooperates with a seal 21 which is inserted in a U-shaped channel 22 formed on the tub 12; the channel 22 itself is formed by means of two circumferential legs 23 and 24, and the leg 24 forms the outer wall of the tub 12.
  • the inner leg can also be viewed as an L-shaped circumferential formation on the inside of the tub 12 will.
  • the U-shape of the channel 22 is open towards the tub or its edge and the legs 23 and 24 run perpendicular to the bottom part 15 of the housing 10 or perpendicular to the parting plane between the tub and the housing.
  • a blind hole-shaped recess 25 On the inside of the side part 17 there is a blind hole-shaped recess 25, the central axis of which runs perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the linear lamp or to the plane of symmetry (section line II-II) of the linear lamp, and with this blind hole 25 an opening 26 is aligned, which is on the outside of the side part 16 is surrounded by a cylindrical projecting collar 27 and in which a drive element 28 is inserted in a sealed manner, which drive element is formed on the outside of the side part 16 with a nut head 29 and on the inside with a pin 30 with a reduced diameter, which pin is inside one Inserted hollow shaft 31 and secured therein by means of a cotter pin connection 32.
  • the other end of the hollow shaft engages in the blind hole 25.
  • an elliptical drive disk 34 and 35 are connected to the hollow shaft 31, which are rotated when the hollow shaft 31 is rotated.
  • FIG. 1 shows the further slide element 38 which interacts with the slide element 37.
  • Both slide elements 37 and 38 are two of each other separate slide elements, which have an elongated plate shape, a partial area being folded parallel to the side edge 39 facing the tub 12 to the remaining area. It can be seen from FIG. 1 that the side part 17, like the side part 16, is inclined outwards, so that the two side parts 16 take up an acute angle between them, which is open towards the tub 12.
  • the slide elements are designed such that the wider area 40 of the slide elements runs parallel to the side part 17, whereas the narrower area 41 is oriented perpendicular to the bottom part 15.
  • the slider element 37 like the other slider elements, is provided with longitudinally extending slots 42 (FIGS. 4 and 5), which engage through the L-shaped support guides 43 formed in the side parts 16 and 17 and thus a longitudinal displacement of the side parts 36 to 38 on the Allow side walls or side parts 16 and 17.
  • guide strips 44 and 45 are provided at a distance from one another perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of the linear light 12, in the present case corresponding to the number of pins (see below) ).
  • a spacing of the slide elements 37, 38, 36 from the inner surfaces of the side parts 16 and 17 is achieved by means of the guide strips 44 and 45.
  • L-shaped or comma-shaped recesses 48 and 49 are made on the slide elements 36, 37 and 38 in the region of the longitudinal edge 39 and are open in the direction towards one another and have opposing oblique edges 50 and 51 or 52 and 53, with particular importance the two inclined edges 50 and 52 are, insofar as they form a wedge shape, which cooperates with the pins 46 and 47.
  • the recesses 48 and 49 are formed in the region of the section or region 41 running perpendicular to the bottom part, so that tilting of the slide elements relative to the pins on the trough is avoided and the lateral boundary walls of the recesses 48 and 49 run parallel to the outer surface of the pins. This is also the reason for the fact that the slide elements are kinked about an edge running in their longitudinal direction.
  • the two slide elements 37 and 38 (as well as the two other slide elements 36 and the one not shown) have a front edge 54 and 55 which runs perpendicular to their longitudinal extension and in which small depressions 56 and 57 are formed opposite one another and are provided with a radius in the manner of an arc , which corresponds to the smaller radius of the elliptical disks 34 and 35.
  • the slide elements 37 and 38 each have a hole 58 and 59, into which the ends of a tension spring 60 are suspended, so that the two slide elements 37 and 38 are always acted upon by the tension spring.
  • the inclined edges 50 and 52 of the recesses 48 and 49 then lie laterally on the pins 46 and 47 and by the force of the spring and the inclined edges 50 and 52 is on the pins 46 and 47 exert a force which presses the trough 12 in the region of the seal 21 onto the housing 11 and there in particular onto the circumferential sealing surface 20. Should the seal 21 lose elasticity due to aging or compression, the pins 46 and 47 are pressed further downward via the inclined surfaces 50 and 52, so that the sealing force is increased again to the original level.
  • the guide elements or guide pins 43 and the elongated holes 42 are provided; this causes the pins to be pressed towards the housing when the two slide elements 37 and 38 are pulled together by means of the spring 60.
  • FIG. 2 shows the locked state, that is, the state when the longer axis of the ellipse runs perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of the slide elements 38.
  • To unlock the hollow shaft 31 is pivoted by means of a tool so that the two elliptical disks 34 and 35 lie with their longitudinal axis parallel to the longitudinal extension of the slide elements 37 and 38, so that the slide elements are pressed away from each other against the force of the spring 60, so that the pins 46 and 47 reach the tub from the area of the inclined edges 50 and 52, so that the pins 46 and 47 can be lifted out of the recesses 48 and 49.
  • the force of the spring 60 is released.
  • Tabs 61 are fastened to at least two pins 46 and have a bore 62 which is pushed over the pin 46; a notch 63 is provided on the pin root, which cooperates with a constriction 64 of the bore 62, insofar as the constriction engages in the notch 63. As a result, the tab or the tabs 61 is or are held in a form-fitting manner on the pin 46 (engaged).
  • the tab 61 is elongated in a rectangular shape and has in the half of its longitudinal extension opposite the bore 62 a longitudinal slot 65 which is delimited towards the free end by a web 66; the slot 65 is penetrated by the L-shaped support guide 43 and due to its length, the longitudinal slot allows the tab 61 or tabs 61 to move in their longitudinal direction, so that, as can be seen from FIG. 4, the tub is lifted off or, as in FIG Figure 5 shown, can be connected to the housing 11.
  • the two strips 44 and 45 serve to guide the tab 61 laterally.
  • the tab 61 thus engages between the slide elements 37 and the inner surfaces of the side walls 17 between the strips 44 and 45, so that captive guiding of the tabs on the side parts is ensured.
  • These straps 61 do not cause any special loads on the tub, such as can occur with the hinges.
  • eccentric drives can be provided; it is essential that the side parts are moved resiliently against each other and that the side parts can be moved against the force of the spring by means of the disks.
  • the spring 60 is a tension spring.
  • this spring is a compression spring that pushes the two side parts apart.
  • another drive device is to be provided, which presses the two slide elements against one another for loosening, which also has the consequence that the L-shaped or comma-shaped recesses 48 and 49 must be opened in the other direction.
  • the slide elements are arranged with the spring on both sides of the side parts; there is of course the possibility of providing commercially available hinges in usually two slide elements on one side and on the other side. A sufficient seal is then ensured at least on the slide side. In any case, the invention has also been achieved.
  • an eccentric drive is provided with pins which engage in grooves on the slide elements and thus cause a displacement.
  • a spring either a compression spring or a tension spring between the two slide elements, can perform the tasks according to the invention, namely an adjustment of the two slide elements against one another, in such a way that the tub is pressed against the housing by the spring via oblique edges.
  • FIG. 7 shows a further embodiment of the invention.
  • the linear light has, as above, the housing 11 with the base part 15 and the trough 12.
  • two slide elements 100 are provided on the longitudinal edges in the region of the seal, of which in Figure 7 shows only a slide element.
  • the slide elements 100 run over the entire length of the housing. They have on their one, the tub 12 facing longitudinal edge recesses 101, on which inclined surfaces 102 are attached; these recesses correspond identically to the recesses 48 and 49.
  • a drive shaft which is represented by the axis point 105 and on which an elliptical wheel 104 is provided which lies within a recess 103 on the slide element 100 or with the Interacting perpendicular to the longitudinal extent boundary edges 103a and 103b of the recess 103 cooperates.
  • the slide elements also have longitudinal slots 107 through which pins 108 engage the housing 11, so that the slide elements 100 can only be displaced in their own longitudinal direction.
  • a spring 106 which continuously acts on the slider elements 100 in the direction of arrow P, in such a way that the oblique edges 102 run onto the pins 46.
