Definitions

  • the invention relates to a transport tank, in particular a so-called swap tank.
  • Swap tanks are understood to be convertible, tank-container-like transport tanks, which are mainly used in the combined or multimodal transport of liquids, bulk goods and gases in road and rail traffic.
  • a transport tank with the features specified in the first part of claim 1 is known from DE-U-84 09 021.
  • the outer frame which is present in even older designs and completely surrounds the tank, is limited to two end groups, each of which has four corner fittings and has four saddle pieces and a front ring with the relevant bulging outwards Front end of the actual tank is connected.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a swap tank which on the one hand has an even lower tare weight, on the other hand ensures a secure introduction of all forces acting on the tank into the lower corner fittings of a frame structure and at the same time an optional locking to existing at different distances on the respective vehicle Rotary locks or other locking elements allowed.
  • each of these two frame parts consisting of a lower cross member and two lower longitudinal members extending over only part of the tank length.
  • the connection between the tank bottoms and the relevant frame parts takes place via a front ring element which extends over a range of only 90 ° to 180 ° of the lower one Half of the tank floor runs and is connected to the relevant cross member via two triangular saddle pieces.
  • the longitudinal bars are attached to a reinforcement ring surrounding the cylindrical main part of the tank.
  • the transport tank according to the invention thus has a total of eight lower corner fittings, the mutual spacing of which in the longitudinal direction of the tank is selected in accordance with two different locking dimensions which are customary on vehicles.
  • the tank 10 consists of a circular cylindrical main part 11 with curved end bottoms 12, of which only one can be seen in FIG. 1.
  • the main part 11 is surrounded by a plurality of reinforcing rings 13, 14.
  • Figure 1 shows only the right part of the tank 10, the vertical center plane of which is further to the left of the reinforcement ring 14 and therefore no longer appears in the drawing.
  • the tank 10 is received by a frame part, which consists of a cross member 15 and two longitudinal spars 16.
  • An outer corner fitting 17 is welded to the underside of the two outer corners of the cross member 15.
  • the front base 12 there is an end ring element 18 with an L-profile, the flange 20 of which extends parallel to the longitudinal axis 19 of the tank and is welded to the front base 12 in the brim area of the front base with the greatest curvature or in the less curved area within the brim area.
  • the end ring element 18 extends over an angle of 135 ° and is arranged symmetrically to the vertical longitudinal center plane.
  • the two ends of the flange 20 are welded to the circumferential surface of pipe sections 21 which are placed radially on the end face 12 and which have a miter cut for further stress relief to the outside.
  • the front ring element 18 can also have a T-profile and attach to the web on the front base 12. In any case, the end ring element has a flange 22 pointing in the radial direction.
  • Two triangular saddle pieces 23 are placed on the cross member 15, the surface part 24, which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 19 of the tank, abutting against the radial flange 22 of the end ring element 18.
  • a horizontal flange 25 is folded, which rests on the upper surface of the cross member 15.
  • a reinforcing flange 26, which is triangular or trapezoidal in shape with a long lower edge connected to the flange 25, is edged to the oblique edge of the surface part 24 with respect to the tank.
  • the third inner edge of the surface part 24 extends tangentially to the end face 12 and extends as far as possible to this in order to obtain the largest possible overlap area between the surface part 24 and the flange 22 of the end ring element 18.
  • the described design of the end ring element 18 and the saddle piece 23 makes it possible to arrange the two frame parts during assembly such that the outer corner fittings 17 have the prescribed standard distance in the longitudinal direction of the tank, and then the saddle pieces 23 so far in the longitudinal direction of the tank to move until the surface parts 24 abut on the flange 22 of the end ring element 18 previously welded to the end face 12 of the tank 10, and in this state to weld or screw the saddle pieces 23 to the end ring element 18 and the cross member 15.
  • This makes it possible to compensate for unavoidable tolerances in the manufacture of the individual components, in particular the tank 10 itself, and when the end ring elements 18 are welded to the end plates 12.
  • the triangular shape of the saddle pieces 23 is not only favorable from the point of view of saving material and weight, but also corresponds to the direction of the forces to be introduced directly into the corner fittings 17 by the tank 10.
  • a rectangular gusset plate 27 can be provided between the two triangular saddle pieces 23, which is welded to the upper surface of the cross member 15 with a vertical surface on the radially extending flange 22 of the end ring element 18 and with a flange bent on its lower side or screwed on.
  • the longitudinal bars 16 abut with their inner ends on the reinforcement ring 14 and are fastened to the reinforcement ring 13 at an intermediate point.
  • an inner corner fitting 28 is attached to the underside of each longitudinal spar 16.
  • the distance a between the inner corner fitting 28 shown in FIG. 1 and the inner corner fitting 20 '(not shown) provided symmetrically at the other end of the tank 10' (approx. 6058 mm).
  • the distance between the inner corner fitting 28 and the outer corner fitting 17 is preferably 5 '(approx. 1534 mm), which results in between the outer corner fitting 17 shown in FIG. 1 and the outer corner fitting lying symmetrically to it (not shown) on the same side of the tank a distance b of 30 '(approx. 9125 mm) results.
  • These spacing dimensions are expedient because twistlocks or other locking elements are usually arranged at one of these spacings on container vehicles built for ISO containers. The transport tank shown can thus be transported with such vehicles, which are intended for 20'-containers, as well as those which are designed for 30'-containers.
  • the longitudinal bar 16 serves as a gripping edge.
  • a piece of sheet metal 29 is attached to the longitudinal spar 16, the vertical surface part 30 of which adjoins the upper edge of the longitudinal spar 16 and fulfills the function of the sliding surface required above the gripping edge.
  • On the surface part 30 is a radially extending surface part 31 which is connected to the outwardly pointing web of a T-profile support rail 32 welded to the jacket of the tank 10 between the two reinforcing rings 13, 14.
  • the outer and inner corner fittings 17, 28 can be additionally supported, if necessary, in each case via oblique brackets 33 with respect to the longitudinal spar 16 and the transverse spar 15.
  • the cross and longitudinal spars can be made from a closed square tube, a standing I-beam or an upright standing U-profile open to the inside or outside in a hot-rolled standard version.
