Definitions

  • the invention relates to a supporting roller device or supporting and guiding roller device for sliding sashes of windows, doors or the like which are arranged in fixed running and guide rails about vertical axes.
  • Folding sliding sashes and harmonic sliding sashes consisting of support sockets for the one end of which are attached to the wing on the end face vertical axle bolts, the other end of which is mounted in the carriage for the idlers or carries a guide roller, the distance between the support bases and the carriages of the idlers or the guide roller being adjustable and lockable in the longitudinal direction of the axle bolts, the axle bolt on one with the
  • the cantilever arm connected to the support base is seated and the cantilever arm, as part of a plate on the support base, can be displaced essentially transversely to the wing plane and can be fixed in any position.
  • Support roller devices or support and guide roller devices of this type are mainly used for folding sliding windows and doors; however, if necessary, they can also be used with so-called harmonica sliding windows and doors.
  • Support roller devices or support and guide roller devices of the generic type have long been part of the prior art (see, for example, the GU image list 102a "Special fittings for folding doors ", pages 12 and 13).
  • the invention has for its object to provide a support roller device or support and guide roller device of the type specified, which while maintaining the adjustability of the wing in the vertical direction offers an adaptation to different rollover thicknesses of the wing and thereby the use of only one profile dimension for all occurring installation cases Requires the fixed running and guide rails.
  • the cantilever arm is held with its plate in a molded bag on the support base between two substantially horizontal support walls and that the bag with a profile section away from the end face of the folding sliding wing over the parallel Surface of the support base protrudes.
  • the support arm can be brought into different angular positions relative to the wing plane, so that the center distance of the axle bolt can be changed transversely to the wing plane and can thus be adapted to different rollover thicknesses of the wing.
  • a particularly stable arrangement is obtained if, according to a further inventive measure, the depth of engagement of the plate into the pocket is a multiple, e.g. corresponds approximately to four times the distance between the axle pin and the pocket opening, so that the cantilever arm has a large support length.
  • the plate is held at its rear end with limited angular displacement between two essentially vertical support walls of the bag and these vertical support walls are at a distance from one another at the open end of the bag, which is the maximum Adjustment path is larger than the width of the plate.
  • the clamping elements can be formed by a head screw penetrating a hole in the plate and arch slots in the horizontal support walls of the pocket and a nut acting on the latter.
  • the screw can engage with abutment surfaces formed on its head between fixed webs of the pocket as a means of preventing rotation.
  • the adjustment means for adjusting the height of the wing relative to the fixed frame are not provided between the axle bolt and the support bases fastened on the wing end face.
  • the axle bolt consists of a non-rotatably connected shaft screw to the cantilever arm or the plate and a threaded sleeve holding the carriage of the support rollers or the guide roller, the threaded sleeve being axially adjustable and lockable on the shaft screw by means of a lock nut.
  • the actual setting means for the height adjustment of the wing are therefore relatively close to the fixed running or.
  • the guide rail has moved closer and can be easily and easily operated using suitable adjustment tools.
  • the support base has an angular shape and the pocket is integrally formed on the outer boundary edge of the horizontal angle leg.
  • the area of the support base containing the pocket projects backwards and thereby forms an alignment and support system for the rollover circumferential surface of the wing.
  • the profile section of the pocket which interacts with the rollover circumferential surface can be given a dimensioning which is adapted to the lowest rollover thickness for wing profiles.
  • the articulated connection between the wing held or supported directly by the support roller device or support and guide roller device and the adjoining wing can be released simply by pulling the plug pin and restored by inserting the same, without any manipulations being carried out on the vertical axle pin must, as is the case with the known idler devices or idler and guide roller devices.
  • the hinge plate on the adjacent wing is transverse to the hinge axis, but parallel to the wing plane by means of adjusting means, e.g. Threaded links, eccentric or the like. Is held adjustable so that the lateral distance between the mutually articulated, adjacent wings can be varied appropriately.
  • these adjustment means belong to a hinge band, which is functionally connected to a support roller device or support and guide roller device, which thus three different adjustment dimensions (vertically and horizontally parallel to the sash plane and horizontally transverse to the frame plane) united.
  • a door element 1 is shown as an application example of the invention, which comprises a fixed frame 2 and five wings 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 assigned to it.
  • the wing 3 assigned to the fixed frame 2 on the right is hinged as a tilt-and-turn wing, while the wing 4 installed on the left in the fixed frame 2 is suspended as a rotating wing.
  • the three further wings 5, 6 and 7 are each connected movably about vertical hinge axes, the wing 5 also having a hinge connection with a vertical axis to the rotary wing 4 and the wing 7 being adjacent to the tilt-and-turn wing 3.
  • the wings 5, 6 and 7 each act as a so-called folding sliding wing and form with each other and with the rotating wing 4 a functional unit that is movable relative to the fixed frame 2.
  • a running rail 9 is fixedly connected to the lower, horizontal spar 8 of the fixed frame 2, while the upper, horizontal spar 10 of the fixed frame 2 carries a guide rail 11 lying parallel to the running rail 9.
  • the guide rail 9 is assigned two supporting roller devices 12 and 13, while two guide roller devices 14 and 15 cooperate with the guide rail 11.
  • the support roller device 12 is connected to the lower right corner of the folding sliding wing 7, while the upper right corner of this folding sliding wing 7 carries the guide roller device 14.
  • the support roller device 13 is attached to the lower right corner of the folding sliding wing 5, while the guide roller device 15 is connected to the upper right corner of this folding sliding wing 5.
  • External hinges 16 on the one hand connect the two folding sliding panels 7 and 6 to one another and on the other side establish the connection between the folding sliding panel 5 and the rotating panel 4.
  • Inner hinges 17a and 17b in turn connect the two folding sliding leaves 6 and 5 to one another, while further inner hinges 17a are provided in order to form the connection between the rotating leaf 4 and the fixed frame 2.
  • the scissor bearing 18 and on the other hand the corner bearing 19 is connected to the fixed frame 2.
  • the hand lever 20a is used to operate the tilt and turn sash 3, while corresponding hand levers 20b and 20c sit on the folding sliding sash 6 and on the rotating sash 4.
  • bolt locks are actuated, by means of which the closed position of the wings 7 and 6 and 5 and 4 can be fixed relative to one another and relative to the fixed frame 2.
  • the outer hinges 16 and the inner hinges 17a each have identical designs and are therefore interchangeable.
  • the inner hinges 17b differ from the outer hinges 16 and the inner hinges 17a in that they are functionally assigned to the support roller device 13 or the guide roller device 15.
  • the idler device 13 differs from the idler device 12 basically only in that an internal hinge 17b is integrated in it, which is missing in the idler device 12, because the latter is associated with the tilt-and-turn sash 3 folding sliding sash 7.
  • the supporting roller device 13 also interacts with the stationary running rail 9 via a carriage 21, the carriage 21 being equipped with two pairs of supporting rollers 22, as can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 4.
  • Carriages 21 and pairs of idler rollers 22 are largely enclosed by the profile of the running rail 9, as can be seen particularly clearly in FIGS. 4, 8 and 9 of the drawing.
  • axle pin 23 is fastened - outside the running rail 9 - to a cantilever arm 26 of a plate 27 which extends at least approximately parallel to the running rail 9 and at right angles to the axle pin 23.
  • the cantilever arm 26 laterally engages in a pocket 28 which is integral with a support base 29 which on the front side 30 of the folding sliding sash 5 or 7 is attached lying.
  • the support base 29 preferably has an angular shape, ie it is formed by a horizontal leg 31 and an upright leg 32 connected to it in one piece.
  • the pocket 28 is integrally formed on the outer boundary edge of the horizontal leg 31 and has a profile section 33 with which it comes to the support system on the peripheral surface 34 of the wing flap 35, as can be clearly seen from FIGS. 4, 8 and 9.
  • the pocket 28 receiving the plate 27 of the cantilever arm 26 is delimited by two essentially horizontal support walls 37 and 38 and two essentially vertical support walls 39 and 40, which can be seen in FIGS. 4 and 5.
  • the vertical support walls 39 and 40 are shaped and provided at such a distance from one another that a displacement of the Plate 27 of the cantilever arm 26 is enabled to a limited extent in the direction of its main plane.
  • the depth of engagement of the plate 27 in the pocket 28 corresponds to a multiple, for example approximately four times, the distance between the Axle bolts 23 fastened in the cantilever arm 26 and the pocket opening 41.
  • the plate 27 of the cantilever arm 26 is limitedly angularly movable at its rear end 42 directly between the vertical support walls 39 and 40 which are at a corresponding distance from one another there without any special fastening - in the manner of a so-called cutting edge bearing - held, the extent of this angular displacement being determined by the width of the pocket opening 41.
  • the plate 27 of the cantilever arm 26 is secured against longitudinal displacement in the pocket 28 by a cap screw 43 which passes through a round hole 44 in the plate 27 and is guided through arch slots 45 and 46 in the horizontal support walls 37 and 38.
  • the extent of the angular displacement of the cantilever arm 26 relative to the support base 29 is also determined by the length of the arch slots 45 and 46.
  • the head 47 of the cap screw 43 is located on the outside of the horizontal support wall 37 between two fixed webs 48 and 49 and has hereby interacting abutment surfaces 50, which cooperate with the webs 48 and 49 as a rotation lock for the cap screw 43.
  • a nut 51 is screwed onto the shaft of the cap screw 43, via which an axial bracing of the cap screw 43 on the horizontal support walls 37 and 38 of the pocket 28 can be effected.
  • Head screw 43 and nut 51 thereby form clamping elements, with the aid of which the plate 27 can be securely fixed within the pocket 28 and thus the cantilever arm 26 relative to the support base 29 in any possible setting position.
  • axle pin 23 can be easily adjusted relative to the support base 29 in such a way that using only a single profile for the running rail 9 different thicknesses of the wing overlap 35 and thus different distances between the end face 30 of the folding sliding sash 5 or 7 can be bridged from the end face 52 of the fixed frame 2 carrying the running rail 9.
  • the profile thickness of the wing flap 35 can vary, for example, between a minimum dimension of 15 mm and a maximum dimension of 22 mm, so that it makes sense to provide an adjustability of the cantilever arm 26 relative to the support base 29 in the direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the axle bolt 23, which is at least 8 mm is.
  • the axle pin 23 is made in two parts. It consists of a shaft screw 53 connected to the cantilever arm 26 in a rotationally fixed manner and a threaded sleeve 54 which, on the one hand, comprises the shaft screw 53 in a form-fit adjustable manner and, on the other hand, is held axially immovably but rotatably in the roller bearings 24 of the carriage 21.
  • the effective length of the axle bolt 23 can be changed by rotating the threaded sleeve 54 relative to the shaft screw 53. This then makes it possible to vary the height of each folding sliding sash 5 or 7 relative to the fixed frame 2 or the running rail 9 fixed thereto.
  • the shaft screw 53 also carries a lock nut 55, which can be braced against the end face of the threaded sleeve 54.
  • the setting and fixing means for the cantilever arm 26 as well as for the axle bolt 23 sitting thereon are close together and are designed in such a way that they can be operated with matching tools (wrenches).
  • these adjustment means are also in the space between the peripheral surface 34 of the wing flap and the opposite Longitudinal boundary surface of the running rail 9 in front of the end face 52 of the fixed frame 2, they are accessible at any time even if the support base 29 seated on the folding sliding leaf 5 or 7 and the cantilever arm 26 connected therewith are covered by a cover cap 56, for example made of a layer material such as plastic Injection molding or deep-drawn sheet metal.
  • the carrier roller device 13 differs from the carrier roller device 12, which can only be seen in FIG. 1, only in that its support base 29 also forms the functional part of an inner hinge 17b fastened to the folding sliding leaf 5, via which the adjacent folding sliding leaf 6 is in detachable articulated connection with the folding sliding leaf 5.
  • a hinge sleeve 57 is integrally formed on the support base 29 of the support roller device 13, specifically on the outer boundary edge of its upright angle leg 32.
  • the two hinge sleeves 59 and 60 of a plate-shaped hinge band part 61 can be coupled via a detachable plug pin 58, which - in a similar manner to the support base 29 - is to be fastened lying on the end face 30 of the wing 6.
  • the hinge sleeve 57 is on the support base 29 and the hinge sleeves 59 and 60 are provided on the hinge strap part 61 so that they have at least approximately a common axis plane with the longitudinal axis of the axle bolt 23, which extends transversely to the main plane of the fixed frame 2 (see FIG. 5 ).
  • hinge sleeves 59 and 60 on the hinge band part 61 is also such that one of these hinge sleeves 59 and 60 is always placed above and the other hinge sleeve 60 and 59 of the same below the hinge sleeve 57 of the support base 29.
  • the bearing weight of the folding sliding wing 6 is therefore in any case introduced via the inner hinge 17b into the folding sliding wing 5 equipped with the supporting roller device 12.
  • the bearing of the guide roller 62 consists of a sleeve 63 which can be connected to the socket screw 53 carried by the cantilever arm 26, for example by screwing, and can be secured in the fastening position by means of a collar bolt 74 which, for example, is in a coaxial blind hole at the free end of the Shank screw 53 can be pressed.
  • the shaft screw 53 for receiving the sleeve 63 supporting the guide roller 62 is completely identical to the shaft screw 53, which cooperates with the threaded sleeve 54 of the carriage 21, it is easily possible to carry out a mutual exchange of the guide roller 62 and the carriage 21.
  • the folding sliding panels 5 and 7 are supported on the support roller devices 12 and 13 arranged in a lower running rail 9, while they are suspended according to FIG. 9 on the support roller devices 12 and 13 guided in a top rail 9.
  • the guide roller devices 14 and 15 cooperate according to FIG. 8 with a guide rail 11 mounted at the top, while according to FIG. 9 they engage with a guide rail 11 mounted below.
  • FIG. 10 and 11 of the drawing illustrate the mutual arrangement of outer hinges 16 and inner hinges 17a and 17b between the adjacent wings 4 to 7, which can already be seen in FIG. 1, of which the wing 4 through the inner hinges 17a only as a rotating wing on the fixed frame 2 is mounted, while the wings 5 to 7 are connected to each other as folding sliding sash and the folding sliding sash 5 is also articulated on the rotating sash 4.
  • a nut piece 64 can be fixed on the end face 30 of the respective wing by means of a base plate or by means of a fixing pin 65 engaging in a bore.
  • a threaded piece 66 engages in the nut piece in a rotatable and thereby axially displaceable manner.
  • a window cutout 67 in the hinge band part 61 is designed in such a way that it surrounds the nut piece 64 and the threaded pin 66, the end faces of the threaded pin 66 each receiving support on the transverse edge surfaces 68 and 69 of the window cutout 67.
  • the thickened head 70 of the threaded pin 66 is provided with tool engagements which are accessible with a socket wrench, for example through a hole 71 which is axially parallel to the threaded pin 66.
  • Elongated holes 72 in the hinge band part 61 interact with the fastening screws 73 penetrating this and, after the fastening screws 73 have been loosened slightly, allow the position of the hinge band part 61 to be adjusted to the respective wing, e.g. the folding sliding sash 6.
