Abstract

Dans un piston en deux parties comportant une tête (1) et un fourreau (3) articulé seulement sur l'axe de piston, qui sont censésrecouvrir un espace annulaire (6) situé dans la rainure annulaire du piston concentriquement par rapport à celui-ci, espace ouvert dans la direction du fourreau (3) et comportant une partie en tôle (7) délimitant un canal de refroidissement à l'huile. Dans la forme d'exécution connue, la partie en tôle (7) est sertie dans la paroi (4) de l'espace annulaire qui porte les segments du piston. En raison de la minceur de la tôle (7), on n'est pas sûr que ce mode de fixation résiste quand le piston fonctionne longtemps. En outre, on s'efforce d'obturer le plus possible l'espace annulaire (6) dans lequel circule l'huile de refroidissement. L'invention consiste à fixer la partie en tôle (7) par un collier (8) qui part de la paroi externe annulaire (4) de la tête (1) et est serti autour de la tôle (7). Pour que l'espace annulaire (6) soit suffisamment obturé, la partie en tôle (7) est divisée en deux parties dans le sens radial.
