Claims (12)

1. Verfahren zum Drucken eines speziellen Etiketts, insbesondere eines Gepäcketiketts, namentlich für Lufttransport, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Schritte:
― a) Man führt von einem Magazin (2) aus eine durchgehende Papierbahn (4), die das Schnittformat und dasjenige der späteren Teilung von Etikettenabschnitten (39) für das Gepäck vorgebende Schwächungslinien (41) aufweist,
― b) man nimmt sich eine Referenzposition (35) auf dem Etikett,
― c) man druckt in zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Druckstationen (IT1, IT2) auf jeden Etikettabschnitt (39) vorderseitig und rückseitig gewünschte Informationen (43) auf, und
― d) man schneidet das so komplettierte Etikett an seiner Schwächungslinie am Ende zur Abtrennung und Ausgabe des Etiketts ab.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die auf jedem Etikettabschnitt (39) gedruckten Informationen Strichcodes aufweisen, die eine Identifizierung des mit dem Etikett markierten Gepäcks ermöglichen ebenso wie Informationen bezüglich aufeinanderfolgenden Stufen des Durchlaufs, dem das Gepäck folgt, angesichts einer späteren Teilung der Abschnitte gemäß diesem Durchlauf.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Papier temperaturempfindlich ist und daß das Drucken der Informationen auf jeden Etikettabschnitt (39) durch Thermodruck erfolgt.
4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Etikett (25) eine schlüssellochförmige vorgestanzte Öffnung (35) zu dessen Anbringung um einen Gepäckgriff herum aufweist und daß die Referenzposition bei dieser vorgestanzten Öffnung (35) genommen wird.
5. Etikett, das geeignet ist, nach dem Verfahren gemäß den Ansprüchen 1 bis 4 gewonnen zu werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Etikett aus einem Papierblatt gebildet ist, das eine Vielzahl von Abschnitten (39) aufweist, die vorderseitig und rückseitig bedruckt sind und entlang von Schwächungslinien (41) für eine spätere Teilung dieser Abschnitte abgetrennt werden können.

Etikett nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jeder Abschnitt (39) vorderseitig und rückseitig aufgedruckte Informationen in Form eines Strichcodes zum Identifizieren des mit dem Etikett markierten Gepäcks aufweist, ebenso wie Informationen bezüglich aufeinanderfolgenden Stufen des Durchlaufs, dem das Gepäck folgt, angesichts einer späteren Teilung gemäß diesem Durchlauf.
7. Etikett nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus einem vorderseitig und rückseitig thermosensiblen Papierblatt gebildet ist.

Etikett nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Etikett an jedem längsseitigen Rand eine Ausnehmung (27) aufweist, die etwa in seiner Mitte vorgesehen ist und das Etikett in eine erste Zone (31), die eine vorgestanzte, schlüssellochförmige Öffnung (35) in der Nähe eines schmalseitigen Randes (37) des Etikettes enthält, und in eine zweite Zone (33), welche mit einer Vielzahl von gemäß den Schwächungslinien (41) abschneidbaren Etikettenabschnitten (39) versehen ist. unterteilt derart, daß durch den Durchgang des zweiten schmalseitigen Randes (45) durch die Schlüssellochöffnung (35) bis hin zu den Ausnehmungen (27) eine einen Griff eines Gepäcks umgebende Schlaufe gebildet wird.
9. Vorrichtung zum Drucken eines speziellen Etiketts, insbesondere eines Gepäcketiketts, namentlich für Luftfahrt, zur Durchführung des Verfahrens gemäß den Ansprüchen 1 bis 4. dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorrichtung in Kombination aufweist:
― Ein Magazin (2) zur Unterbringung einer durchgehenden Papierbahn (4), die das Schnittformat und das Format der späteren Teilung von Etikettenabschnitten (39) vorgebende Schwächungslinien (41) aufweist;
― zwei aufeinanderfolgende Druckstationen (IT1, IT2) zum Drucken gewünschter Informationen (43) auf jeden Etikettenabschnitt (39) auf dessen Vorderseite und Rückseite;
― eine erste Antriebseinrichtung (G1, G2) zum Vorbeibewegen der durchgehenden Papierbahn vom Magazin aus an den Druckstationen (IT1, IT2);
― Detektoren (D1, D2) zur Erfassung einer Referenzposition auf dem Etikett;
― eine Steuereinrichtung, mittels der die beiden Druckstationen (IT1, IT2) aufgrund der Feststellung der Referenzposition in Betrieb setzbar sind;
― eine Schneideinrichtung (14) zum Abschneiden des Etiketts an seiner Schwächungslinie am Ende, und
― eine zweite Antriebseinrichtung (G5, G6), mittels der das Papierband von den zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Druckstationen (IT1, IT2), auf diese Art komplettiert, zu der Schneideinrichtung (14) für die Abtrennung und Abgabe dieses Etiketts führbar ist.
10. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die beiden Druckstationen (IT1, IT2) jeweils einen thermischen Druckkopf (T1, T2) aufweisen, der mit einer zugeordneten Gegendruckrolle (63, 64) zur Mitnahme des betreffenden Etiketts zusammenwirkt.

Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 9 oder 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jeder Etikettabschnitt vorderseitig und rückseitig aufgedruckte Informationen in Form eines Strichcodes aufweist, die eine Identifizierung des mit dem Etikett markierten Gepäcks ermöglichen ebenso wie Informationen bezüglich aufeinanderfolgender Stufen des Durchlaufs, dem das Gepäck folgt, zu einer späteren Teilung der Abschnitte gemäß diesem Durchlauf.

Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Etikett (25) eine an jedem längsseitigen Rand (29) dieses vorgesehene Ausnehmung (27) aufweist, die etwa in der Mitte des Etiketts vorgesehen ist und dieses in eine erste Zone (31), die eine vorgestanzte schlüssellochförmige Öffnung (35) in der Nähe eines schmalseitigen Randes (37) des Etiketts enthält, und in eine zweite Zone (33), welche mit einer Vielzahl von gemäß den Schwächungslinien (41) abschneidbaren Etikettenabschnitten (39) versehen ist, unterteilt derart, daß durch den Durchgang des zweiten schmalseitigen Randes (45) des Etiketts durch die schlüssellochförmige Öffnung (35) bis hin zu den Ausnehmungen (27) eine den Griff eines Gepäcks umgebende Schlaufe gebildet wird.
