Definitions

  • the invention relates to a tub for washing machines o / or damper, with a bearing cross for rotatably supporting the laundry drum and with at least one counterweight.
  • a generic tub (DE-OS 27 04 498) support rings are arranged on the front and rear wall, which are connected via the cross members. Arm ends of the bearing cross and a drive motor for the drum can be connected to the support rings.
  • Relief of the tub made of high-quality material is sought, so that its base body and the front and rear walls can be provided with a smaller wall thickness.
  • a tensioning strap is provided in each case encompasses a part of the container casing and the outer edges of the front or rear wall and the support rings.
  • the known tub has a large number of parts and thus requires a lot of effort in the manufacture and assembly of these parts.
  • the known suds container is a so-called corset construction, in which the base body essentially has the function of absorbing a detergent solution during washing.
  • the force transmission of the dynamic forces coming from the laundry drum, such as, for example, unbalance forces, into a housing of the washing machine essentially takes place via the support rings to the crossbeams, which are connected to the base body only via the support rings.
  • the forces from the traverses are fed into the housing via springs and dampers.
  • tubs with a self-supporting construction are known. Forces are transferred from the drum to the base body via the bearing cross and from there to the housing of the washing machine via springs and dampers.
  • Such self-supporting constructions require a relatively large, more expensive to manufacture, wall thickness of the tub.
  • the invention has for its object to design a tub of the type mentioned so that it is simple and inexpensive to manufacture.
  • cross members are connected at least in regions to the base body and have first connection means for the bearing cross and second connection means for at least one ring-shaped balance weight.
  • both the crossbeams and the base body contribute to the transmission of forces from the washing drum into the housing of the washing machine .
  • the wall thickness of the tub can thus be dimensioned relatively thin, because forces can be transmitted both via the base body and via the cross members.
  • the second Connection means and at least one ring-shaped balance weight is stiffened the tub. Forces originating from the balance weight and transmitted from the drum to the bearing cross are transmitted through the cross member and at the same time via its connection to the base body.
  • the tub can be formed from relatively thin-walled sheet metal without sacrificing dimensional stability or reducing the load-bearing behavior.
  • the balance weight is closed ring-shaped. A particularly good stiffening of the adjacent part of the base body or of the front or rear wall results in a simple manner via the connection of the crossbeams by the closed balancing weight.
  • first and / or second connection means have sections projecting over the base body in the axial direction. Through these sections, the bearing cross and the counterweight can be attached in an easy to manufacture and assemble manner, without the need for direct connection means to the base body or the front or rear wall.
  • the base body has a region connectable to the first or second connection means.
  • Such an area has a stiffening effect and can be used as a contact surface for a sealing connection to the front or rear wall.
  • first and / or second connection means have through openings for fastening screws.
  • Bearing cross and / or counterweight can thus be connected in a particularly simple manner via a screw connection to the cross members.
  • the first and / or second connection means have holding elements which can be connected to the front or rear wall.
  • holding elements for example, counterweights can be connected to the trusses particularly easily.
  • the stiffening of the tub can be further increased by connecting the holding elements to the front or rear wall.
  • fastening regions of the bearing cross which can be connected to the first connecting means are designed in a ring shape and the rear wall can be fastened between the fastening regions and the first connecting means.
  • fastening areas of the bearing cross that can be connected to the first connection means are designed in the form of a circular arc means that a good connection of the bearing cross to the cross members is possible in a simple manner. Because the front or back wall between the attachment areas and the first connecting means can be fastened, this can be easily installed or removed together with the bearing cross in the base body.
  • the simplified assembly enables at least partial automation of the assembly of suds containers through the use of handling devices, it being possible to start with base bodies provided with traverses as preassembled structural units. Because the front or rear wall can be connected via the fastening area of the bearing cross and the first connecting means, a laundry drum can be easily removed from a tub and thus a washing machine, for example for maintenance or repair purposes.
  • front or rear wall can be connected to the base body by folding. Pre-assembled units can thus already have a front or rear wall.
  • the tub designated overall in Fig. 1 and 2 with 1 has an essentially hollow cylindrical base body 3.
  • a front wall 5 also made of sheet metal, is connected to a loading opening 7 via an essentially tight fold.
  • the side of the base body 3 opposite the front wall 5 can be at least partially locked via a rear wall 9.
  • pairs of identical cross members 11 and 13 are arranged opposite each other in the horizontal direction.
  • the crossbeams 11, 13 are shaped as sheet metal profile parts in a substantially U-shape and are connected to the base body 3 by spot welding, for example, over the length thereof.
  • the cross members 11 have semicircular openings as connecting means 15 for springs.
  • Each crossmember 13 has crossbars 17 as connecting means for dampers.
  • the tub 1 can be held in a housing (not shown) of a washing machine so as to be capable of oscillation by means of springs or connectable dampers which can be hooked into the connecting means 15, 17 for springs or dampers in a manner not shown.
  • the cross members 11, 13 In order to fasten a bearing cross 19 for the rotatable mounting of a laundry drum 21 in the tub 1, the cross members 11, 13 have, as the first connecting means 23, a section which essentially closes with the base body 3; the base body 3 thus has a region that can be connected to the first connection means 23.
  • the bearing cross 19 has circular arc-shaped fastening regions 25 which can be connected to the first connecting means 23 and are formed on the radially outer end of arms 26 of the bearing cross 19.
  • the rear wall 9 has a cylindrical region 29 which can be clamped between the outer circumference of the circular-arc-shaped fastening regions 25 and the first connection means 23.
  • the rear wall 9 can thus be easily connected to the cross members 11, 13 and the base body 3.
  • a sealing ring 35 can be clamped between correspondingly shaped areas of both parts.
  • the first connection means 23 have through openings (not shown) for the passage of fastening screws 33.
  • the cross members 11, 13 have the second connecting means 37 axially opposite the first connecting means 23, via which a counterweight 39 can be connected.
  • the second connection means 37 which, like the first connection means 23, have the same design for all the cross members 11, 13, have sections projecting over the base body 3 in the axial direction.
  • Pot-shaped holding elements 41 can be connected to the second connection means 37, for example by welding.
  • the holding elements 41 which can be produced as sheet metal parts each have a contact surface 43 which extends in a plane perpendicular to the axial direction for holding tabs 45 which are formed on the counterweight 39 and which can be integrated into the counterweight 39.
  • the holding tabs 45 can be screwed to the latter via a screw 47.
  • the holding elements 41 each have a side wall 49 which can be connected at least in regions to the front wall 5, for example by screwing or welding.
  • the high rigidity of the counterweight 39 and its connection to the cross members 11, 13 also result in a stiffening of the adjacent areas of the front wall 5 and the base body 3.
  • the traverses 11, 13 can be connected in this area.
  • the first and second connection means 23 and 37 of the crossbeams 11, 13 are each stiffened together, so that forces from the balance weight 39 and the bearing cross 19 act well on the Trusses 11, 13 are transferable.
  • Forces introduced into the crossbeams 11, 13, which can be caused, for example, by imbalance excitation of the drum 21, are passed on from the connecting means 15, 17 into the housing via springs or dampers.
  • the dimensions of the crossbeams 11, 13 and the wall thickness of the base body 3 can be coordinated with one another in such a way that stable, effective load-bearing behavior can be achieved with a relatively small wall thickness of the base body 3 and the front and rear walls 5, 9. Due to the small number of parts and the easy installation and removal of the drum 21 together with the bearing cross 19 and the rear wall 9, the manufacture and assembly of the tub 1 according to the invention is simple and possible in at least partially automated manner. As a preassembled unit, the base body 3 can be connected to the cross members 11, 13 and the front wall 5.
  • the bearing cross 19 can be connected in a manner not shown contain a drum drive so that essentially no additional fasteners are required.
  • a pulley 53 can be placed on a shaft 51 of the drum 21, opposite the rear wall 9, which can be installed or removed together with the washing drum 21 and the bearing cross 19.
