Definitions

  • the invention relates to a bobbin for yarns or the like according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a coil is known (DE-A-23 12 895).
  • Yarn spools are widely used in the manufacture and processing of yarns using textile machines.
  • the bobbins can always be used again and again, so that after the yarn has been unwound a new yarn is wound up and fed to further processing.
  • the constant reuse of the coils leads to gradual wear, which affects in particular the protruding outer peripheral edge of the coil disks, so that after a certain operating time, bumps, notches and other unevenness occur. This is particularly true when the disks are made of plastic, as in the known coil, and the coils are used under rough working conditions.
  • the head of the fastening screw for the washer has a conical centering surface between the screw head surface running perpendicular to the coil axis and the cylindrical screw head wall and projects only slightly in the radial direction beyond the circumference of the shaft. Therefore, in the known coil with cap screws for fastening the discs only achieved a support and stabilization of the discs, which does not meet all the requirements in operation. It has even been shown that, with a correspondingly high axial pressure, the yarn filling of the spool can lead to permanent deformation of the disk. Such deformations as well as changes in the distance between the two disks lead to difficulties when using the coils in connection with textile machines.
  • a certain deflection of the disk leads to a comparatively greater lifting of the projection from the shaft circumference, provided that the projection is not deformed. If the latter is the case, the thread is prevented from being pinched, but the protrusion on the disc, which is also wrapped around, then does not contribute or only insignificantly to stabilizing the disc in its perpendicular orientation to the bobbin axis.
  • the invention has for its object, a stable support substantially without additional material of the washers compared to the axial spreading pressure.
  • the screw head can protrude radially outward and, in its circumferential region which is most heavily loaded by axial forces or bending forces due to it in the disk, can also efficiently support the disk due to the axial strength present there.
  • the radial widening and the axial thickening of the screw head there is no additional material expenditure, since the correspondingly enlarged recess in the washer results in an essentially equal material saving.
  • the manufacturing outlay in particular if the washers and the screws are made as intended as molded plastic parts, for example of polyamide.
  • the coil shaft 1 which is made of an aluminum tube, has an internal thread 2 or 3 at its two ends.
  • a spindle bearing 4 made of plastic is attached with a press fit in the bobbin shaft 1.
  • a disk 5 or 6 is fastened by means of a hollow screw 7 or 8, which are screwed to the internal thread 2 or 3.
  • the washers 5 and 6 and the screws 7 and 8 consist of a molded plastic (polyamide) and are each of the same design, so that only one washer and one screw are described here. At most, a difference, not shown, can be provided between the two disks in such a way that one disk is provided on its outer circumference with incisions which are used to automatically cut the thread after it has been completely filled with yarn.
  • a sleeve-shaped spindle guide 9 made of a plastic is pressed or molded into the upper screw 8 and is missing from the lower screw 7.
  • the screw bearing 4 is provided adjacent to the screw 7.
  • the disks 5 and 6 are circular in shape with an outer circumference 10 and an inner circumference 11. On the outside, they essentially have a circumferential recess 12 on the outer circumference 10, which is provided with a view to automatic thread separation. This is followed radially inward by a recess 13 which is delimited by a bottom surface 14 which extends into the inner circumference 11 and a cylindrical recess wall 15. At two diametrically opposite points, the disks within the recess 13 each have an axial rib 16, which can have a semicircular cross section, from the recess wall 15 projects radially inwards and extends axially from the bottom surface 14 only over part of the depth of the recess 13.
  • each disk which is oriented essentially perpendicular to the coil axis 18, merges with the outer circumference 10.
  • a circumferential axial centering projection 19 is provided, which points axially inward and ends with a curve 20 in the outer surface 21 of the winding shaft.
  • the screws 7 and 8 are hollow to carry a spindle with an axially continuous screw opening 24. They have an external thread 25 in the area of their shank, which interacts with the internal thread 2 or 3 by clamping the washer 5 or 6.
  • Each screw has a screw head 26 with an axially inwardly pointing screw head surface 27 which extends essentially perpendicular to the coil axis 18.
  • the screw head 26 corresponds to the dimensions of the recess 13 of the washers, so that it completely fills the recess 13. Accordingly, an axial groove 29, which receives an axial rib 16, is also provided on the cylindrical screw head wall 28 surrounding the screw head 26 at two diametrically opposite points.
  • the screw opening 24 has a cylindrical section 30 with an annular shoulder 31 for installing the spindle guide 9 at its axially inwardly directed inner end.
  • the screw opening 24 is widened to form a hexagon socket 32 which merges with the conical surface 33 into the annular shoulder 31.
  • the screw head 26 extends as shown to the disk recess 12 and thus extends in the radial direction approximately to the middle between the outer surface 21 of the shaft 1 and the outer circumference 10 of the disk 5 or 6. Furthermore, the screw head 26 has a considerable axial thickness, which enables him to have a stable disc support. As shown, the screw head 26 is thicker than the washer 5 or 6 in the region of its recess. The thickness ratio can be, for example, about 2: 1 or even larger (up to 5: 1). Like the bottom surface 14 of the recess 13, the screw head surface 27 extends essentially in a plane perpendicular to the coil axis 18.
  • the screw head surface 27 and the bottom surface 14 slightly conical, so that the thickness of the screw head 26 decreases slightly towards the cylindrical screw head wall 28.
  • the angle with respect to the perpendicular to the coil axis 18 should only be a few degrees, for example 5 °, and should not exceed the value of 10 °. Otherwise disturbing relative movements between the washer and the screw are to be feared under high loads on the coil.
  • the slight taper mentioned favors the assembly of the coil with mutual alignment of the parts when the screw is screwed into the coil shaft 1.
