Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for changing the on and off position of two groups of lock parts in a system of a flat knitting machine with an even number of systems, wherein in each system one group of lock parts that can be selected and actuated by the device switches on the other group is switched off, and a group comprises at least one lock part.
- the inventor has set himself the task of creating a device of the type mentioned at the outset, which can reduce the investment and operating costs without sacrificing performance and comfort.
- the object is achieved according to the invention in that simultaneously in two systems by means of a common, With the groups of lock parts that can be switched on and off or a connecting part in engagement with a bolt that can be moved into four different positions, all four mathematically possible combinations for the switching on and off can be set independently of the system.
- the two system-independent and simultaneously adjustable systems are preferably arranged adjacent.
- connecting parts need not be made unnecessarily long.
- connecting parts are preferably used in practice, which simultaneously switch on one lock part of a system and switch off another lock part of the same system.
- Such mechanisms are widely used and are well known to those skilled in the art.
- the bolt is preferably designed as a slidable in the longitudinal direction in guides, which is provided in both halves with a recessed guide slot. An axis supported by a ball bearing engages in each of these guide slots for power transmission to the lock parts that can be switched on and off.
- the force generated during the bolt shift acts in the transverse direction to the shift. This shift in the transverse direction must be so great that the switch-on and switch-off movement is generated by means of suitable mechanisms known per se.
- the bolt or the locking plate is generated by means of a stepper motor controlled by a computer pulse.
- the zero position is initially set with a light barrier.
- a detector disc rotates with the shaft of the motor, which drives a pinion, for example.
- With a "step” the shaft is rotated for example by 1 to 7 °, in particular approximately 2 °.
- the number of steps to be carried out to the left or right are calculated by the computer entered.
- effecting actuators for example control cams or cams, are arranged.
- the device according to the invention can effect all possible combinations of two lock parts and leave them unchanged, switch from the on to the off position or from the off to the on position. If, for example, pusher strips, such as a catch strip and two take-over strips, are alternately brought into the on and off position using the present invention, the following four mathematical combinations are possible in two systems, which is referred to as four-way technology:
- UU both systems operated by the same drive are set to cloaks. US: the left system is on capes, the right one on strikings.
- SS both systems are set to knitting.
- SU the left system is set for knitting, the right system for capes.
- the press bar transfer (U) or knitting (S) can be switched on and the other pusher bar can be switched off. In this case, only parts of the castle in the transfer area of the Lock plate changed. Depending on whether the catch or take-over bar is switched on, the machine knits or transfers it.
- the lock parts of both systems I and II actuating stepper motor 12 drives with its shaft 14 a pinion 16 which engages in a toothing 20 of the locking plate 18 (FIGS. 2, 4).
- This locking plate can be moved in the longitudinal direction in the direction of movement S of the slide, guided by the locking plate guides 22.
- the locking plate 18 has partially concealed guide slots 24, 26 of different geometric shapes on both ends in FIG. 1.
- a ball bearing 28 is arranged, which in turn guides a bolt 30 tapering in the direction of the ball bearing, which in turn is anchored in a slide 32 movable vertically to the locking plate 18.
- the slide guides 34, 36 are fastened on the lock plate 10.
- the slider 32 of the system I is drawn in its lower position, the slider 32 of the system II in its upper position.
- Each slide 32 is connected to pusher bars, namely a catch bar 38 and two take-over bars 40 arranged laterally in the S direction. Both pusher bars are guided in bearings 42.
- two brackets 44, 46 are attached to the lower end of the slide 32, which transmit the longitudinal movement of the slide 32 to the catch bar 38 and take-over bars 40 and switch them on and off.
- Both pusher strips 38, 40 with the control surfaces 48, 50 for the pusher feet of intermediate plates guided in the needle bed of a flat knitting machine can be pivoted about a common axis 52.
- the pivoting movement of the catch strip 38 is also pivotally connected to it by the bracket 44, via an axis 54, that of the take-over strips 40 from the bracket 46 via the axes 56.
- Fig. 3 shows further details regarding the actuation of the pusher bars.
- the slide 32 is here in its upper position.
- the slider 32 is connected to the brackets 44 and 46 by means of a screw 58.
- Both the catch bar 38 as the take-over bar 40 can also be pivoted about the axis 52. 3, the catch bar 38 is in the working position and the take-over bar 40 is switched off.
- the attachment 33 for the actuating parts of a transfer part (not shown) belonging to the knitting lock is indicated.
- the transfer part is at the top (position S: knitting), when the transfer strip 40 is switched on, the transfer part is at the bottom (position U: transfer).
- the axis 54 initially slides in the elongated hole 55. Then the catch bar 38 is pivoted out of the take-over bar 40 into the working position.
- the two systems I and II common locking plate 18 is shown in Fig. 4.
- the first guide slot 24 has two tracks 60, 62 running at a distance a from one another parallel to the longitudinal direction of the locking plate 18 with a connecting track 64 which extends at an angle of approximately 45 ° with respect to the longitudinal direction of the locking plate 18.
- the second guide slot 26 has two straight lines running parallel to the longitudinal direction of the locking plate 18, two end tracks 66, 68, at a distance a a central track 70 and two connecting tracks 72, 74 of approximately 45 ° with respect to the longitudinal direction of the locking plate 18 the end lanes to the middle lane.
- the distance a is less than 1/4 of the length of the projection of a guide slot onto the longitudinal direction of the locking plate 18. Furthermore, each of the tracks 60, 62 of the first guide slot 24 running parallel to the longitudinal direction of the locking plate 18 is longer than the projection of the connecting tracks 72, 74 of the second guide slot 26.
- the central path 70 of the second guide slot 26 is longer than the projection of the connecting path 64 of the first guide slot 24.
- the projections are each made perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the locking plate.
- the ball bearings 28 which guide the slides 32 of the systems I and II (FIG. 1) via bolts 30 are not shown in FIG. 4.
- the ball bearings which cannot be displaced in this direction assume the position A, B, C or D.
- the ball bearings of both systems I and II are therefore both always in the same position: A, B, C or D.
- the locking plate can consist of both a hard plastic and a metal, in particular aluminum or steel. In order to save material and weight, four holes 76 have been cut out.

Description
- Fig. 2 die Ansicht von Fig. 1,
- Fig. 3 einen Schnitt bei III/III von Fig. 1, und
- Fig. 4 die Draufsicht auf eine Riegelplatte.
- Fig. 3 zeigt weitere Einzelheiten bezüglich der Betätigung der Drückerleisten.
