Abstract

Beim kontinuierlichen Stranggießen werden bisher vom Gießstrang Teile bestimmter Länge abgetrennt. Bei Brammen ab bestimmter Breite wird anschließend in einer gesonderten Anlage die Bramme längsge­ teilt. Erfindungsgemäß erfolgt das Längsteilen mit einer Hochdruck-Flüssigstrahlschneiddüse vor dem Querteilen.
