Abstract

Un método para cortar una barra de doble o triple sección interconectada en un nódulo continuo, en la producción a gran velocidad de barras de metal alargadas a partir de tochos, el cual al producir una barra de doble sección comprende la fase de hacer pasar la barra a través de los laminadores opuestos de al menos una caja de laminado a fin de reducir el área de sección transversal de cada sección, aplicándose la fuerza activa de compresión de los laminadores asimétricamente sobre cada sección aplicándose dicha fuerza con mayor intensidad junto al nódulo de interconexión con lo cual el alargamiento longitudinal de cada sección contigua al nódulo es mayor que el alargamiento de la misma sección opuesta al nódulo, creándose fuerzas de tracción laterales en el nódulo que hacen que las secciones se separen entre sí progresivamente.
