Abstract

Sheet pressing means for a multi-color sheet-fed press adapted for both first-side printing and perfecting printing wherein the press includes a press frame and first and second impression cylinders with a sheet-turning cylinder therebetween. The sheet pressing means includes a plurality of hollow air-blowing fingers disposed after the printing zone of the first impression cylinder for directing blown air to press a sheet onto the surface of the first impression cylinder, with the fingers being disposed in substantially equidistant relationship to one another on a support tube which is disposed above the first impression cylinder and substantially parallel to the axis thereof along substantially the entire length of the first impression cylinder. Preferably, the fingers each have at the downstream end thereof an air exit surface with air exit orifices formed therein, and the exit surfaces are formed to conform generally to the convex external contour of the first impression cylinder and have a downstream tip end adapted to be positioned closely adjacent the point of tangency between the first impression cylinder and the sheet-turning cylinder. Claims (5)

1.) Vorrichtung in Mehrfarbenbogenrotationsdruckmaschinen für Schöndruck und für Schön- und Widerdruck, die nach der Druckzone oberhalb eines Druckzylinders angeordnet ist und Mittel zum Anpressen eines Bogens auf den Druckzylinder durch die Kraftwirkung strömender Blasluft aufweist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Blasfinger (14) auf einem oberhalb des Druckzylinders (1) achsparallel angeordneten, über dessen gesamte Länge reichenden Blasfingertragrohr (15) voneinander gleich­mäßig beabstandet drehfest angeordnet sind, daß die Blasfinger (14) in ihrem unteren mit Luftaustritts­öffnungen (17) versehenen Bereich eine der Außenkontur des Druckzylinders (1) angepaßte Luftaustrittsfläche (18) aufweisen, die bis zum Tangentenpunkt (12) zwischen einen nachgeordneten Bogenwendezylinder (3) und den Druckzylin­der (1) geführt ist, und daß die Blasfinger (14) zusammen mit dem Blasfingertragrohr (15) mittels einer Verstell­einrichtung (19) im Schöndruck aus Richtung Tangenten­punkt (12) abhebbar sowie im Schön- und Widerdruck wieder in Richtung Tangentenpunkt (12) absenkbar an festen Maschinenteilen (20 bis 22) gelagert sind.

dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die beiden Enden des Blasfingertragrohres (15) an einem Arm eines abgewinkelten Tragbügels (23) befestigt sind, daß der andere Arm des abgewinkelten Tragbügels (23) eine Nutkurve (24) aufweist, die an einem gestell­festen Bolzen (21) geführt ist und daß der abgewinkelte Tragbügel (23) in seinem Scheitelpunkt ein Drehgelenk (27) aufweist, daß mit einem Handhebel (25) verbunden ist, der auf einem gestellfesten Bolzen (21) verschwenkbar aufgenommen ist.
