Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Bogenrotationsdruckmaschine entspricht die Stellung der Greifeinrichtungen für die Bogenvorder- und Bogenhinterkanten bei Umstellung von Schöndruckbetrieb auf Schön- und Widerdruckbetrieb der größten Formatlänge der zu bedruckenden Bogen. Sollen Bogen mit kleineren Formatlängen bedruckt werden, muß die die Zahnräder miteinander kuppelnde Kupplung gelöst und die Greifeinrichtungen zum Erfassen der Bogenvorder- und Bogenhinterkanten müssen durch relatives Verdrehen der diese tragenden Teile der Bogenübergabetrommel auf das neue Format eingestellt werden. Da die entsprechenden Teile der Bogenübergabetrommel durch ihre Zahnräder mit den zu den vorgeschalteten und nachgeschalteten Druckwerken führenden Zahnräderzügen in Eingriff sind, erfolgt bei einer Formatumstellung automatisch eine phasenrichtige Ausrichtung auf die Druckwerke, so daß das Register nicht neu eingestellt werden muß. Soll bei einem Schon- und Widerdruckbetrieb eine Formatumstellung des zu bedruckenden Papiers erfolgen, ist es lediglich erforderlich, die Kupplung zu lösen und die Zahnräder in der Weise relativ zueinander zu verdrehen, daß die Bogenstrecke zwischen den Einrichtungen zum Erfassen der Bogenvorderkanten und Bogenhinterkanten dem neuen Papierformat entspricht. Da die jeweiligen Zahnräder des Trommelgrundkörpers und der in diesem gelagerten Welle, die Halteteile mit Einrichtungen zum Erfassen der Bogehinterkanten trägt, einerseits mit dem Zahnrad der Umführtrommel und andererseits mit dem Zahnrad der Wendetrommel kämmen, sind diese immer phasenrichtig an die beiden Druckwerke angekuppelt. In jeder Drehwinkelstellung der beiden Teile der Bogenübergabetrommel stimmt somit die Phasenlage der Einrichtungen zum Erfassen der Bogenvorderkanten und zum Erfassen der Bogenhinterkanten mit dem vorgeschalteten und nachgeschalteten Druckwerk überein, so daß keine zusätzlichen umständlichen Einstellvorgänge erforderlich sind, um die richtige Phasenlage der Greifeinrichtungen zu den zugehörigen Druckwerken bzw. den zu diesen führenden Räderzügen herzustellen. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Bogenrotationsdruckmaschine ist somit gewährleistet, daß die Drehwinkelstellung der beiden die Einrichtungen zum Erfassen der Bogenvorder- und Bogenhinterkanten tragenden Trommelteile derart ist, daß in jeder Phasenlage der Druckwerke die Greifereinrichtung der zuführenden Trommel mit der Greifereinrichtung der Bogenübergabetrommel und das Greifersystem der nachfolgenden Wendetrommel zum Erfassen der Bogenhinterkante mit der formateinstellbaren Halteeinrichtung auf der Bogenübergabetrommel, die beispielsweise aus einer Reihe von Saugern bestehen kann, korrespondiert, so daß keine zusätzlichen Stellvorgänge notwendig sind und keine Kollisionsstellen entstehen. 1. Sheet-fed rotary printing machine which can be converted from recto printing to recto and verso printing and vice versa,
