Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled adjuster wherein the positioning of rear-end grippers of a double-size transfer cylinder in the case of single-face multicolor printing, as well as the adjustment of positional relationship of a reversing gripper of a reversing cylinder in the case where single-face printing is changed over to double-face printing or vice versa, is effected by two positioning pins.
CONSTITUTION: Positioning of rear-end grippers (b) of a double-size transfer cylinder T2 in the case of single-face multicolor printing is effected through coupling of a driving gear 22 and a flange 26 by a positioning pin 37. Positioning of a gripper (c) of a reversing cylinder T3 is effected by inserting a positioning pin 31 fitted on the flange 26 into a single-face printing hole 28a of an adjusting gear 28. Positional relationship of the reversing gear (c) of the reversing cylinder T3 relative to the front- end and rear-end grippers 8, (b) (paper holding roller 12 and paper drawing roller 13) in the case where single-face printing is changed over to double-face printing or vice versa is also determined by the positioning pins 31, 37. Safety is secured because no accident will occur even when a tightening screw 30 is left untightened.
