Abstract

A suction roll sheet transfer device disposed between a sheet feed table and the front lays of a sheet fed rotary printing press including a first set of suction rolls adapted for oscillating movement between a position substantially in the plane of said feed table for engaging successive sheets under suction pressure and transferring the sheet in register toward the front lays of the press and a raised position for engaging a preceeding sheet and separating it from the following sheet disposed therebelow, even when the sheets are in strongly adhering relation to each other during high speed printing operations. Suction pressure is communicated to the suction rolls in predetermined timed intervals, commencing upon retraction of the suction rolls substantially to the plane of the feed table. In a second embodiment, non-displaceable suction rolls are disposed immediately below the plane of the feeder plate upstream of the oscillating suction rolls for engaging successive sheets, under the influence of suction pressure, and guiding the sheets onto the oscillating suction rolls. In that embodiment, deionizers with air nozzles are disposed between the oscillating suction rolls and the non-displaceable suction rolls for directing a timed, pressurized air flow against successive sheets to facilitate separation of the partially overlapping sheets.

Die Schwenkbewegung der Hubsaugrollen 1 ist mittels Exzentertrieb über einen im Drehpunkt 20 schwenkbar gelagerten doppelarmigen Hebel 22, die Rolle 10 sowie den verstellbaren Exzenter 11 steuerbar. Die zeitliche Steuerung der Saugluft erfolgt derart, daß die Saugdüsen 24 der starren Saugrolle 17 den nachfolgenden unteren Bogen 6 bereits frühzeitig ansaugen. Zwischen den hin- und herschwin­genden Saugrollen 1 und den starren Saugrollen 17 ist zusätz­lich eine Entionisierungsvorrichtung 18 eingebaut. Die Entio­nisierungsvorrichtung 18 ist so geschaltet, daß eine ständige Entladung stattfindet. Claims (5)

1.) Vorrichtung zur registerhaltigen Anlage eines Bogens, die im Anlegeblech zwischen Anlegetisch und Vordermarken einer Bogenrotationsdruckmaschine angeordnet ist und in Bogenlaufrichtung gesehen vor und in der Nähe der Vordermarken Saugrollen mit Saugdüsen aufweist, denen zeitlich gesteuert Saugluft zuführbar ist, die im Unterdruck regelbar ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß in und gegen die Bogenlaufrichtung hin- und her­schwingende Saugrollen (1) vorgesehen sind, deren Schwenkbewegung so steuerbar ist, daß auf den abziehenden oberen Bogen (13) eine Hubwirkung und sobald die Saugdü­sen (24) der hin- und herschwingenden Saugrollen (1) annähernd auf die Ebene des Anlegetisches abgesenkt sind auf den nachfolgenden unteren Bogen (6) eine Saugwirkung ausübbar ist, und daß die hin- und herschwingende Saug­rollen (1) mit der Geschwindigkeit endloser Bänder (5) des Anlegetisches über ein Zugmittelgetriebe (12) oder dgl. antreibbar sind.

daß in Bogenlaufrichtung gesehen vor und in der Nähe der hin- und herschwingenden Saugrollen (1) starre Saugrollen (17) angeordnet sind, zwischen denen eine Blasluft-Entio­nisierungsvorrichtung (18) angeordnet ist, daß die hin- ­und herschwingende Saugrollen (1) und die starren Saug­rollen (17) mit der Geschwindigkeit der endlosen Bänder (5) des Anlegetisches mittels Zugmittelgetriebe (12) antreibbar sind und daß getaktet entionisierte Blasluft zwischen den abziehenden oberen Bogen (13) sowie den nächstfolgenden unteren, unter Saugwirkung transportier­ten Bogen (6) einblasbar ist und zeitlich gesteuert aus­schaltbar ist, kurz bevor der nächstfolgende untere Bogen (6) Blasluftdüsen (21) der Blasluft-Entionisierungsvor­richtung (18) überdeckt.
