Nachteilig ist dabei das „Durchhängen” der Bogen zwischen den Einzelstationen. Das führt zu:
- – abschmierendem Kontakt mit benachbarten Querteilen, z. B. der Leitblechkante
- – mehr Lufteinschlüssen im Stapel durch die notwendige größere Fallhöhe
- – Abgleiten der Bogenseitenkanten von den äußeren Einzelstationen mit resultierendem Verlust an Bremskraft.
