Abstract

Es wird ein Wärmeaustauscher aus gegeneinander um 180° gedreht zu einem Stapel gespannten Platten (3) an­ gegeben, bei dem die Plattenzwischenräume über Zu- ­ und Abströmöffnungen (4, 5, 6, 7) der Plattenecken mit den Medien beschickt werden und sich über ihre Profilierung gegeneinander abstützen, wobei die Profilierung einen mittleren, rechteckigen (18) und zwei daran anschließende dreieckförmige (16, 17) Wärmeaustauschbereiche bildet. Dabei ist die Profilierung der dreieckförmigen (16, 17) Bereiche durch sich aneinander anschließende Abschnitte gegen­ läufiger Prägungsrichtung gebildet, derart, daß sich die Abschnitte einer Prägungsrichtung des einen drei­ eckförmigen (16, 17) Bereiches gegen die Abschnitte der anderen Prägungsrichtung des anderen dreieckförmigen (16, 17) Berei­ ches der benachbarten, um 180° gedrehten Platten (3) ab­ stützen, wobei zwischen den Abschnitten (22, 23) die Platten­ öffnungen mit dem rechteckigen Wärmeaustauschbereich (18) verbindende, strahlenförmige Strömungskanäle gebil­ det sind, die quer zur Strömungsrichtung im Rhythmus der Teilung des Abstandes benachbarter Strahlen durch Kanalstücke miteinander verbunden sind.
