Definitions
- the invention relates to a strand-like sealing profile for window panes mounted in wooden frames.
- Such sealing profiles are essential for the quality of windows and are already known in various embodiments.
- the German utility model 77 18 161 describes a strand-like sealing profile to be used for window panes mounted in wooden frames, the cross-section of which has a central web, four sealing lips arranged on one side of the central web and a support shoulder arranged at the upper end of the central web opposite the uppermost sealing lip.
- the German utility model 78 20 526 describes an improvement of this sealing profile by attaching a sealing tape made of foam rubber or another elastomer with closed pores running along the strand-like sealing profile to the underside of the support shoulder. This sealing tape is intended to cover the fine unevenness and open capillaries of the wooden surface and to prevent the ingress of water.
- sealing tape must either be subsequently connected to the sealing profile, which can lead to subsequent detachment, or extruded directly during the production of the sealing profile, which is a relatively complex operation.
- the sealing tape lies essentially only on the top of the wooden frame and does not encompass its edge, which easily leads to sealing errors, in particular due to material fatigue after a long time.
- DE-OS 30 48 744 shows an improved strand-like sealing profile for window panes mounted in a wooden frame.
- This sealing profile has a central web in cross section, five sealing lips arranged on one side of the central web, one of which at the upper end of the central web is located and the Ach s e of the central web has a stumpfen.
- Winkel enclosing sealing surface one arranged on the other side of the central web and between the two ends of anchoring and, disposed at the upper end of the central web support shoulder, wherein in the Area of the fillet le between the central web and the support shoulder is a strand of permanently plastic sealing compound.
- This strand of permanently plastic sealing compound is easy to insert into the groove and is pressed against the longitudinal edge of the wooden frame, so that a good permanent sealing effect is achieved.
- the object on which the invention is based was therefore to obtain an improved strand-like sealing profile for window panes mounted in wooden frames, which ensures improved sealing and reduces the possibilities of improper installation and associated sealing errors.
- the strand-like sealing profile according to the invention the cross section of which has a central web, at least two sealing lips arranged on one side of the central web, one of which lies at the upper end of the central web and a sealing surface which forms an obtuse angle with the axis of the central web, one on the other side of the central web and has an anchoring foot arranged between its two ends and a support shoulder arranged at the upper end of the central web and one in the region of the fillet between the central web and the support school ter arranged strand made of permanently plastic sealing compound is characterized in that in the region of the fillet between the central web and the support shoulder a recess partially enclosing the strand of the sealing compound is made such that the strand circumference of the supporting shoulder and the central web is more than 50% is included.
- This inventive construction of the sealing profile makes it possible to depress the sealing mass strand at the manufacturer in the recess of the strand-like sealing profile and checked to ensure that the duroplastic D maybe extruded strand extends over the entire length of the sealing profile, so that there is no risk during assembly that from Inattention is forgotten to insert the sealant strand into the fillet, or the sealant strand is cut shorter than the strand-like sealing profile itself, so that certain areas of the window circumference remain unsealed at this point.
- the inventive design of the sealing profile also ensures that the sealant strand cannot move out of its optimal position during assembly, since it is held firmly in the recess by the support shoulder and the central web.
- the sealing profile according to the invention ensures an optimal sealing effect with simultaneous assembly security and ease of assembly.
- the sealing profile achieves absolute tightness at the parapet edge, corner vulcanization of the sealing profile is unnecessary, the profile is immediately resilient and has a beautiful aesthetic appearance thanks to smooth, evenly running profile edges.
- the recess comprises 60 to 80%, preferably approximately 75%, of the strand circumference.
- the shape and dimension of the cross section of the recess is suitably adapted to the shape and dimension of the cross section of the D layer substance billet, so that the sealing mass strand has a tight fit in the recess.
- the cross section of the sealing compound strand and the recess can have different designs, such as polygonal or otherwise out of round, but the cross section is preferably circular or round. This makes it easier to press the sealant strand into the recess and improves the sealing effect.
- a further improvement of the sealing effect and ease of assembly of the sealing profile according to the invention is obtained in that the anchoring foot in cross section is a hook bent towards the lower end of the central web, which is in contrast to the anchoring foot according to DE-OS 30 48 744, where the anchoring foot is rectangular cross-section and therefore is relatively poor in the corresponding frame rebate be pressed during assembly and at the same time in the N ut small sealing effect exerts, so that an additional sealing cord must be inserted.
- the hook-like design of the anchoring foot according to the invention makes assembly easier, since the hook can be easily pressed together. By striving to bend back into the uncompressed form, the hook presses firmly against the sides of the window groove and thus forms a second excellent seal without the need for an additional sealing cord.
- the sealing lip at the upper end of the central web should have a sealing surface forming an obtuse angle with the axis of the central web.
- the other sealing lips on this side of the central web gron- n s are perpendicular or angled to the central web. It is expedient if the remaining sealing lips other than that at the upper end of the central web are designed in the direction away from the upper end, that is to say they are inclined downward. This also facilitates assembly and increases the sealing effect.
- a plurality of further sealing lips can be provided below the sealing lip arranged at the upper end of the central web.
- a further sealing lip is preferably arranged at the lower end of the central web. It is particularly preferred if there are two further sealing lips below the sealing lip arranged at the upper end of the central web, one of which is that at the lower end of the central web.
- this sealing profile has a central web 1, from which three sealing lips 2, 4 and 5 extend on one side, while a support shoulder -3 and an anchoring foot 6 extend from the central web 1 to the other side.
- the sealing lip 2 is located at the upper end of the central web 1 and is inclined towards the central web in such a way that the sealing surface 7 of the sealing lip 2 encloses an obtuse angle with the axis of the central web 1.
- the sealing lip 5 at the lower end of the central web and the intermediate sealing lip 4 is inclined towards the lower end of the central web.
- the anchoring foot 6 is designed like a hook.
- a recess 9 with a cross-sectional cross-section is provided in the region of the fillet between the central web 1 and the support shoulder 3.
- this recess 9 is a strand 8 of permanently plastic sealing compound with circular cross section, the diameter of this strand is such that the strand is firmly seated in the recess 9.
- the circumference of the recess 9 encompasses the strand 8 to about 75%, so that the strand is firmly seated in the recess, but on the other hand a sufficient part of the surface of the strand is exposed to give an excellent seal by pressure against the parapet edge of the wooden window.
- the sealing lip 4 is designed and arranged so that it can run continuously in the corner area with a corresponding click cut and thus seals seamlessly.
- the composition of the permanently plastic sealing compounds and the sealing profile itself is common.
- the sealing profile is made of rubber or another elastomer, and its hardness is adjusted as required.

Abstract
