Definitions

  • Bag-shaped packaging is very often used for ice cream cones, with the packaging having to be at least partially removed in order to eat the ice cream and the waffle bag enveloping it. Since an at least unsightly tear-off edge arises when the tear is opened, the packaging is generally completely removed. But this is again disadvantageous because the waffle bags are often leaky and the ice cream can leak when they become liquid. In addition, the complete removal of the packaging is also unsanitary, since the filling material intended for consumption is immediately detected. In the case of fillings that have a chocolate coating, for example, the complete removal of the packaging would be extremely unfavorable, since the chocolate melts under the influence of the warmth of the hands.
