Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for mixing a plurality of chemical components for impregnating baths for the treatment of running textile webs or the like.
- a mixing container is arranged between storage containers for the chemical components and the impregnating bath.
- Dosing and mixing devices for these purposes are generally known. However, all of these do not work satisfactorily if more than two chemical components have to be dosed and mixed.
- the invention is based on the consideration that the goods to be impregnated normally take out more liquid from the impregnation bath than the total volume corresponds to the sum of all liquid-dosed individual components.
- the differential volume is then added as water via level control in the impregnation bath so that the level in the impregnation bath remains constant. If the liquid entrainment by the goods is less than the volume of all dosed components, the impregnation no longer works as intended. The reason for this is the insufficient moisture difference between the goods before and after the impregnation bath. However, the amount of water that follows is usually too small to serve to dilute and mix the components metered by the metering device.
- the object of the invention is therefore to achieve the object of dosing more than two to a maximum of about ten chemical components for the purpose of treating textiles, the individually dosed components in high concentration, which are often incompatible with one another, resulting in contacts between them to undesirable reactions such.
- B. precipitates could quickly dilute with liquid from the impregnation bath and mix intensively with this liquid and with each other.
- the invention proposes in a device of the type mentioned in the introduction, in the mixing container, at the upper end of which a support plate with tubes for the supply of the chemical components is arranged and the lower part of which is designed as a communicating container connected to the impregnable , on which a line with a pump for conveying the liquid mixture into the impregnating bath and for returning a part of the liquid mixture into a feed pipe in the support plate at the upper part of the mixing container is provided, between the pipe support plate and the collecting container part, baffle plates with one located between the baffle plates Mixing funnel, which should be provided with a centrally located drain opening, to install.
- the line for the discharge of the liquid mixture from the mixing container can advantageously be designed as a line opening tangentially on the collecting container part.
- the connecting line between the mixing container and the impregnation bath should be arranged at the lower end of the mixing container.
- the supply line for fresh water can be connected to its own supply pipe in the carrier plate, but it can also be connected to the supply pipe for the return of part of the liquid mixture into the mixing container.
- Fig. 2 shows an apparatus for mixing a plurality of chemical components according to the invention.
- the mixing container 10 is communicatively connected via a pipeline 20 to the impregnation bath 21 of an impregnation compartment.
- the pump 22 sucks off liquid via the line 19 attached tangentially to the collecting container part 11 and, on the one hand, conveys a liquor flow from the lower part of the mixing container that is sufficient for mixing back via the pipe 13 into the mixing container and, on the other hand, a liquor flow via the line 23 into the impregnation bath 21 Sufficient liquor always circulates between the collecting container part 11 on the mixing container 10, the line 19, the pump 22, the line 23, the impregnating bath 21 and the pipeline 20.
- mixing container 10 storage containers for various chemical components I, II, 111, IV are arranged, which are connected to chemical tubes 15 on the carrier plate 12 of the mixing container according to the invention, which is particularly shown in FIG. 2, and from which the chemicals are metered into the mixing container .
- the chemical tubes 15 are arranged on the carrier plate 12 concentrically above the upper baffle plate 16.
- the impregnation liquor is applied centrally through the pipe 13 perpendicular to the baffle plate.
- the fleet which flows turbulently to all sides, removes the sporadically or constantly added chemical components with rapid dilution.
- the fleet is redirected and mixed intensively at the edge of the container or a separate impact ring.
- the liquid flows into a mixing and collecting funnel 17 with a central discharge opening 18. All partial flows are mixed with one another in the discharge opening and fall onto a second baffle plate arranged underneath, from which the liquid flows into the receiving container part 11 of the mixing container 10. Due to the tangential liquid suction, this rotates slowly and causes further mixing.
- the mixing container 10 should be arranged so that it when draining the fleet from the Imonia gnierbad 21 automatically runs empty, so that no residue of the previous fleet can remain in the system when changing the fleet.
- the fresh water supplied to keep the level constant by means of a level control can be introduced into the central liquor pipe 13 with sufficient admission pressure, or can be fed onto the first baffle plate as separate components with a special feed pipe 14.
- a direct introduction into the collecting container 11 is also conceivable, in which case a tangential feed could support the rotation of the liquid in the container.
