Definitions

  • the invention relates to a liquid container, consisting of a dimensionally stable outer container and a flexible plastic bag inserted therein, the plastic bag having a filling and removal nozzle with an annular extension formed integrally at its free end, and wherein the filling and removal nozzle in the lower Area of the outer container is fixed in the filling and removal opening.
  • a liquid container consisting of a dimensionally stable outer container and a flexible plastic bag inserted therein, the plastic bag having a filling and removal nozzle with an annular extension formed integrally at its free end, and wherein the filling and removal nozzle in the lower Area of the outer container is fixed in the filling and removal opening.
  • a container is known from FR-A-2 371 355.
  • liquids such as pasteurized fruit preparations, also called fruit base, or other liquids that require sterile, aseptic or low-germ treatment
  • reusable operating system into which the liquids are introduced directly, usually with a capacity of about 100 to 2,000 liters, or containers made of a dimensionally stable outer container, such as made of metal or cardboard, and a flexible one used in it Plastic bag or sack used for one-way or reusable operation.
  • a liquid container is known (NL-A-8 303 120) in which an empty bag to be inserted into a barrel is equipped with a connecting piece, the opening of which is closed with a sealing element, so that the inside of the bag is completely sealed off from the outside.
  • a filling tube is inserted into the connection piece before the bag is filled, and the sealing element is thus pierced.
  • the disadvantage here is that before inserting the filling tube into the connecting piece, both parts inside and outside, as well as the opening after removing the filling tube and also a stopper to be inserted, are soiled, so that sterility when filling is not guaranteed.
  • the question of the step-by-step sterile removal of liquid as well as the filling and removal of large bags on their underside is not solved.
  • the invention has for its object to develop the known container so that the inside sterilized plastic bag and the liquid to be filled guaranteed to remain sterile when filling and simple operation, with a sealing connection between without additional components Outer and inner container and the connected fitting should be guaranteed and also the fitting connections of the outer container correspond to the previous ones or are designed so that the inserted fittings can be used unchanged.
  • the filling and removal nozzle as a flexible piece of hose is finally provided with a flexible sealing ring and the mouth of the same is hermetically sealed by a relatively thin membrane and that the sealing ring between an end face of one at the filling and removal opening of the Outer container existing connector or threaded connector and an adjoining filling and emptying valve is clamped.
  • the advantages achieved by the invention are, in particular, that when filling liquid containers - also called beverage containers - with a plastic bag inserted in a dimensionally stable outer container to hold the liquid, infection of the content is excluded with certainty and thus complaints are not recognized when the content is reinfected extensive automatic machines that close off the filling parts are not required.
  • special precautions do not have to be taken or that it is only made possible by the invention to be able to fill all occurring outer containers, from bulky Eden steel large containers to medium-sized and small cardboard boxes, regardless of their design, and also that associated existing fittings unchanged use.
  • the inventive design of the filling and removal nozzle also allows protection of the same, in particular the membrane, and simple sterilization of its outer surface until it is filled.
  • a nozzle 22 is welded to a valve connecting part 21 of the outer container 4, as is also shown more clearly in FIG. 2, with a union nut 24 being associated with it.
  • An inner valve part 26 of the filling and removal valve unit 8 is connected by means of the connector 22.
  • the filling and removal nozzle 28 located on the plastic bag 14 can be conveniently grasped after opening its hole 30 by removing a closure part 32 and inserted through the valve connecting part 21 and the conical nozzle 22 such that an O-ring-shaped sealing ring 34 of the filling and removal hose piece 28 is in front an end face 36 of the conical nozzle 22.
  • a closure part 32 is thereby quickly removable and reinsert, because it is firmly mounted by a retaining wedge 38, which finds its counter bearing by means of holder 40 present outside the closure part 32, it being possible to seal via a sealing cord 42 if necessary.
  • the filling and removal valve unit 8 is to be mounted, and for sterilizing interiors 45 of the same, in a manner known per se, before filling the plastic bag 14 lying in the outer container 4 via a pipe section 43, for. B. superheated steam, the union nut 24 being loosened at least temporarily, that the hot steam can escape through these threaded seats.
  • the sealing ring 34 together with a hose part 44 and a membrane 46, forms the filling and removal nozzle 28, which is dimensioned accordingly depending on the installation and operating conditions of the application and thus also those of the outer containers.
  • the sealing ring 34 replaces the other sealing ring used in existing devices of this type, it is therefore provided for the hose part 44 on the outside thereof.
  • the material qualities and dimensions of the plastic bag as well as the parts of the filling and removal nozzle 28 also depend on the respective operating conditions.
  • the membrane 46 can have thinned or indented areas 100 or places through which there is easier tearing, wherein a star-shaped configuration expediently initiates an opening of the sealing skin from the center outwards so that the remaining pieces are as short as possible and not with the valve parts to be pivoted, such as a plate 98, collide.
  • the tube part 44 is drawn onto a pipe section 47 of a sheet pile flange 48, which is provided with retaining grooves 50 for a more secure fit, the sheet pile flange 48 being welded to the plastic bag 14 in a conventional manner about a sheet pile hole 52.
  • a filling and removal valve unit 54 according to FIGS. 3 and 4 is provided for one-way and reusable outer containers 55, which can consist of cardboard, a box or the like.
  • a threaded connector 60 is inserted into a hole 58 in a cardboard side wall 56, an outer washer 62 with thread being screwed onto the threaded connector 60 and the thread being carried out only so long that a clearance 63 to the union nut 24 is retained.
  • a lock nut 66 is screwed on, which comes into effect against an inner disk 70, which is arranged with its inner diameter with a loose fit on the threaded connector 60.
  • the filling and removal valve unit 54 is arranged so as to tighten around the cardboard side wall 56, the solid fit of which around the cardboard side wall 56 is achieved by the relatively large design of the outer and inner disks 62 and 70, respectively.
  • the outer and inner disks 62 and 70 are each shortened in their lower region 74, so that the filling and removal valve unit 8 can be provided as close as possible to the bottom 76 of the outer container 55 in order to ensure an almost complete discharge of the liquid, the outer pane 62 can be designed as an angle piece, the lower leg of which comes to rest under the base 76.
  • the one-piece filling and removal hose piece 68 is formed from an O-ring-like sealing ring 80, a membrane 82 and a hose part 78, the latter on a short pipe piece 84 Sheet flange 86 is mounted and the same is additionally held by a clamping band 88.
  • the sheet flange 86 is welded to a plastic bag 90.
  • the filling and removal nozzle 68 is inserted and the filling and removal valve unit 8, which is only briefly indicated, is connected and sterilized in the same way as already described for the exemplary embodiment in FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • a one-piece construction of the entire filling and removal nozzle 28 is selected, with the sealing ring 34 of the hose part 44 initially running somewhat inwards so that it can be used, for example, in existing or appropriately designed valve units.
  • a sealing skin 104 and a hose part 106 are hermetically connected to a sealing ring 108 by welding.
  • Fig. 7 shows an embodiment of a filling and removal nozzle 110, in which the sealing ring 112 is made in one piece with a sealing skin 114 and a hose connector 116, the latter also being provided with retaining grooves 118, whereby a pushed-on hose part 120 experiences a firm hold.
  • a filling and removal hose piece 124 has a one-piece sealing skin and hose connection piece 126, which is welded to an O-ring-shaped sealing ring 128.
  • holder 96 can be provided for holding the filling and removal nozzle 28 in the region of the interior of the containers, so that the filling and extraction nozzle 28 cannot be compressed here , which could cause damage and prevent or prevent the liquid from escaping.
  • the holders 96 can be firmly connected to the outer containers, but they can also only be inserted and / or secured in position by means of suitable, known means, such as plug connections or the like.
