Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method and a device for cleaning textiles, in particular carpets by means of a textile cleaning device, with a rotor driven by a drive device with a nominal speed of 120 to 240 revolutions per minute, and with a cleaning surface consisting of a rotating cleaning mat, the surface to be cleaned is treated with a cleaning liquid.
  • DE-A-2 615 501 describes a spray extraction device as a carpet cleaner.
  • this vacuum cleaner - compressed air spray and suction system for wet cleaning of permanently installed materials, upholstered furniture and carpets using a three-nozzle system, cleaning liquid is fed from a container through a pipe via a flat jet nozzle using compressed air, which can be heated by an electric heater. pressed onto the material to be cleaned and immediately pulled off by forced suction of two suction nozzles, and the material is dried with forced air.
  • Such a system is structurally very complex and very complicated to use.
  • large amounts of cleaning agents are required and the drying time is still relatively long despite heating.

  • the object of the present invention is to present a method and a device of a new type for cleaning textiles, in particular for cleaning carpets, the cleaning being to be carried out with relatively little expenditure of cleaning liquid and being cleaned to the depth of the fabric, and being itself there is no change in the surface of the pile in the case of sensitive velor.
  • the new cleaning device should also be particularly easy to use, reliable and easy to maintain and guarantee quick cleaning.

Due to the higher temperature than the ambient or room temperature, the cleaning process is activated continuously and controllably. In this way, optimal cleaning success can be set in a targeted manner, with cleaning being particularly quick and thorough. Larger areas can be cleaned at the same time, while the drying time of the textiles is reduced.
  • the temperature of the heating surface is constantly controlled as a function of the type of textile, the cleaning agent, the degree of soiling and the ambient conditions. In this way, the optimal cleaning temperature can be easily set and maintained continuously.
