Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device on a sewing machine according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a sewing machine with a device for sewing an endless band onto a tubular part is known (DE-PS 25 14 794), in which the tubular part is pulled over a plurality of axially spaced-apart variable rollers, at least one roller of which is driven, arranged transversely to the transport direction becomes.
  • the known sewing machine with said device enables a precisely overlapped sewing of an endless band onto a tubular part of low elasticity, whereby an adjustment to different diameter dimensions of the tubular part is possible by moving a roll.
  • a sewing machine with a clamping device for tubular workpieces is known (DE-OS 31 42 836), which has a stationary and a non-stationary tensioning roller mounted on a lever with a counterweight.
  • the balance weight is dimensioned so that an indifferent condition is created on the lever. An automatic adjustment of the feed path depending on the current position of the non-stationary roll is not possible with the known sewing machine and its tensioning device.
  • a sewing machine with a tensioning device for tubular material is known (patent application P 33 12 317.9), in which the tensioning device consists of the circumferentially variable tensioning drum with at least three self-moving tensioning segments which can be displaced radially towards the center of the tensioning drum or away from the center . Since said tensioning drum must be arranged in front of the forearm of the sewing machine, it is not possible with the known tensioning device to tension the tubular material in the immediate vicinity of the edge of the sewing part.
  • the invention specified in claim 1 has for its object to provide a device for tensioning and temporarily transporting tubular sewing material, which on the one hand allows tensioning of the wound sewing part in the immediate vicinity of the sewing part edge, and on the other hand an automatic adjustment of the feed path of the sewing part transported in sections depending on the current position enables at least one non-stationary roller that compensates for waistband differences that occur from sewing part to sewing part.
  • the device according to the invention it is now possible to achieve largely automated sewing on, in particular, of the belt loops on trousers or skirts with different waist widths, the distance from belt loop to belt loop automatically adjusting in accordance with the waist width currently present.
  • the activity of the operator is now only limited to the pulling on or pulling off of the tubular sewing part, it being immaterial whether a sewing part with a minimal waist width is followed by a sewing part with a maximum waist width.
  • the conveyor belt wraps around the stationary rollers, the tubular sewing part partially abutting the conveyor belt and wrapping at least one non-stationary roller.
  • two conveyor belts are provided in the embodiment according to claim 7, one of which loops around the fixedly arranged rollers, the other around the non-stationaryly arranged rollers.
  • only one conveyor belt is provided, which wraps around the non-stationary rollers. In the latter case, the sewn-on part lies partly on the conveyor belt and also wraps around the stationary rollers.
  • Maximum adaptation to different waist sizes is possible according to the configurations according to claims 4, 6, 7 and 8, in particular if more than one roll is arranged that is not stationary.
  • FIGS. 1 to 16 Several exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 16.
  • FIG. 9 shows a sewing machine equipped with at least one sewing needle 13, preferably a double lockstitch short seam automat in a conventional design, and 17 shows a loop feeder known per se, both of which are mounted on a table top 20 of a machine frame 19 (FIG. 11).
  • the loop feeder 17 is loaded with a prefabricated, rolled-up loop band.
  • a slider of the loop feed device 17 pushes the front end of the loop band against an adjustable stop and a cutting device belonging to the loop feed device 17 cuts a loop piece with a predeterminable length from the loop band.
  • This loop piece is gripped by folding fingers 18 in a known manner and its two ends are folded down.
  • the belt loop 21 prepared in this way is placed sideways under the presser of the sewing machine 9 and positioned on the sewing part 7 held taut by a device 1, which is indicated in FIG. 16.
  • the device 1 in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 7, 11, 12 and 13 according to claims 1 and 7 consists essentially of a conveyor belt 3 arranged in the vicinity of the sewing point 2, which is temporarily driven by the stationary roller 5 and which also wrapped around stationary rollers 4 and from a second conveyor belt 12 which wraps around the non-stationary rollers 6.
  • the conveyor belt 12 can be moved to or from the sewing point 2, so that in this way tubular material with openings of different sizes, for. B.
  • a plate 23 to which a bracket 24 is attached.
  • the latter receives a bearing journal 25, the end of which protrudes beyond the bracket 24 is mounted in a bearing bracket 26 with as little friction as possible.
  • This is firmly connected to the machine frame 19.
  • An axle 27 is also fixedly connected to the bracket 24, the two ends of which are likewise mounted in the bearing blocks 28, 29 with as little friction as possible.
  • the plate 23 is pivotally mounted with two degrees of freedom, namely about the axis 25 and about the axis 27.
  • the plate 23 follows the sewing material transport during the sewing process. After completion of the sewing process, the plate 23 is brought back into its starting position by an actuating cylinder, not shown.
  • the pivoting movement about the axis 27 moves the plate 23 towards the latter when the sewing needle 13 is in the up position, so that the short seam B (FIG. 16) can then be sewn.
  • the pivoting movement of the plate 23 about the axis 27 is triggered directly by the sewing machine 9 by known means, which will not be discussed in more detail here.
  • the fixedly arranged rollers 4 are rotatably mounted in a known manner on trunnions which are firmly connected on the one hand to the plate 23 and the free ends of which are received by a plate 30 (see FIG.
  • a pin fixedly connected to the driven roller 5 is mounted, on the end of which is above the plate 23 a pulley 36 is fastened.
  • Fixed to the part 32 are journals on which the rollers 6 are rotatably mounted. The free ends are received in accordance with FIGS. 12 and 13 by a plate 33.
  • Part 32 is can be moved towards or away from the sewing point 2 by means of a double-acting actuating cylinder 40 which can be pressurized, whereby tubular sewing material with different sizes (waist size) can be stretched.
  • a laterally displaceable stop 50 for limiting the edge of the sewing part 7 is arranged on the plate 23.
  • the device 1 also includes a control device 15 which, in a first, purely mechanical version, consists of a control gear 38 known per se, a crank gear 44 and an electric motor 39 equipped with an angle encoder.
  • a control device 15 which, in a first, purely mechanical version, consists of a control gear 38 known per se, a crank gear 44 and an electric motor 39 equipped with an angle encoder.
  • the conveyor belt 3 and the sewing part 7 (see FIGS. 6 and 7) or the sewing part 7 drawn directly onto the rolls 4, 5 and 6 (see FIG. 2) are temporarily moved by the control device 15 and on the other hand it ensures that that the variable feed path of the conveyor belt 3 and / or the sewing part 7 is dependent on the position of the non-stationary roller / rollers 6, d. that is, the feed path is directly proportional to the waist width of the tubular sewing part 7.
  • the commercially available control gear 38 is fixed, with the input shaft of the electric motor 39 is fixed.
  • the input shaft of the control gear 38 rotates at an input speed of 1 450 rpm.
  • the control gear 38 translates said input speed into a lower-speed output speed, which is transmitted via a pulley 35 fixedly connected to the stub shaft of the output shaft and via a belt 37 to the pulley 36 and thus to the roller 5.
  • it has a further stub shaft 41 with which a crank 47 is firmly connected (FIG. 13). With this a coupling 46 is articulated.
  • the other end of the coupling 46 is articulated on a two-armed rocker 45.
  • the free arm of the rocker 45 is connected to the part 32 by a link 43 and by a joint 42.
  • the four-link crank gear 44 (FIG. 13) formed from the crank 47, the coupling 46 and the rocker 45 enables a corresponding rotation of the crank 47 - caused by a displacement of the part 32.
  • the control gear 38 is designed kinematically so that it is at a rotation of the stub shaft 41 of 30 degrees enables a linear change in the output speed from 54 rpm to 124 rpm. This will automatically occur when z. B. a larger circumference of the stretched tubular sewing part 7 of the feed path increased proportionally. When sewing on belt loops, this means that the distance from belt loop to belt loop predetermined by the section-by-section transport of the tubular sewing part 7 is automatically set according to the waist width of the stretched sewing part 7.
  • the part 32 and thus the rollers 6 rotatably mounted on it are displaced in the direction away from the sewing point 2 by appropriate pressurization of the double-acting actuating cylinder 40. As a result, the sewing part 7 is tensioned.
  • the displacement of the part 32 is designed so that all occurring waistbands can be tensioned by the device 1. It is essential that the adaptation of the device 1 to the respective waist size always has an effect on the side of the device 1 facing away from the sewing point, so that the sewing part 7 always rests on the needle plate of the sewing machine during the tensioning process.
  • the part 32 is only equipped with the driven roller 5.
  • the radial change in position, directed towards or away from the reference point 11, of the other rollers 6 which are not arranged in a stationary manner is the same Principle known from German patent application P 33 12317.9 and is therefore not described in detail here.
  • the sewing process e.g. B. begin sewing on a belt loop 21 previously folded by the loop feeder 17 and brought under the presser.
  • the short seam A shown in FIG. 16 is sewn.
  • the plate 23 is pivoted clockwise about the axis 27 when the sewing needle 13 is in the up position, after which the short seam B (FIG. 16) can be sewn.
  • the plate 23 is pivoted back into its starting position (FIG. 12) when the sewing needle 13 is in the high position.
  • the electric motor 39 is put into operation, as a result of which the output shaft of the regulating gear 38 and thus the driven roller 5 executes such a number of revolutions that corresponds exactly to the waist width of the sewing part 7 which is just tensioned.
  • the stretched sewing part 7 is transported to the position which corresponds to the position of the belt loop 21 to be sewn on next.
  • the feed path covered during the sewing material transport phase therefore corresponds to the distance of a belt loop to the next belt loop that is automatically adapted to the present waist width.
  • the sewing-on process of this belt loop and the subsequent sewing material transport take place alternately until the last belt loop 21 is sewn on.
  • the part 32 then moves into its position closest to the sewing point 2, which makes it possible to pull off the sewn part 7 that has already been sewn as well as to pull on the next sewing part.
