Definitions
- the invention relates to a garden furniture set or multi-purpose furniture according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the support frame is designed in the form of a wheelbarrow so that the entire furniture can be moved.
- the support frame has two longitudinal bars with handles at the rear end and wheels at the front end.
- the longitudinal bars are connected to each other by cross struts.
- special furniture parts are arranged.
- vertical cross frames can be attached to the support frame, in particular plugged on. Between two of these cross frames, a table top or a seat and back section can be used to form an armchair be brought; a legrest can also be articulated on the seat part, so that one obtains a kind of deck chair.
- the seats or "deck chairs” are provided transversely to the direction of travel.
- the armchair bed parts can also be removed from the support frame and used for themselves.
- a support can be angled from the back part, which is then supported on the ground.
- the chain provided on the side of the seat part and back part, with which these parts are suspended on the cross frame, are hooked into one another when used separately.
- This direct support of these seat-lying parts on the ground is inadequate, especially in the event of unevenness and varying flexibility of the ground.
- the mutual attachment between the seat part and the back part by means of the side chains is also disadvantageous or uncomfortable.
- Another disadvantage is that there is no clear and stable support surface for the buttocks of the user, which supports the user's center of gravity and thus the main body weight.
- the invention has for its object to eliminate this
- the bed consists of a rectangular frame and a slatted frame or similar supporting part arranged thereon, and that the slatted frame (or the supporting part) consists of a central part (seat part) fixedly arranged on the frame and there are two parts that can be swiveled upwards into the desired inclined position, namely a back part and a leg part.
- the back part and leg part are advantageously identical to one another. This makes the manufacture cheaper.
- the back part and the leg part are supported against the frame by a known support mechanism in the respective inclined position. Independently of this, an additional safety support is advantageously provided, which prevents the unintentional complete folding of the back part between the side rails of the frame - and thus the risk of the user's fingers being trapped.
- Fig. 1 shows such furniture in front view, i.e. seen in the direction of travel;
- Fig. 2 shows a side view of this piece of furniture (arrow II in Fig. 1);
- Fig. 3 shows the couch designed according to the invention in a separate use position, removed from the chassis
- Fig. 4 also shows this couch as in Fig. 3, but suspended like a swing;
- FIG. 5 again shows a front view (see FIG. 1) of a combination piece of furniture in the form of a bench, the back part being pivotable in the horizontal position as a second bed, these two beds in particular being designed according to the invention, in particular as in FIG. 3 and 4 shown;
- Fig. 6 is a plan view of the furniture of Fig. 5, with the backrest in Fig. 5 as a second bed in the ho the horizontal position is blocked.
- Fig. 7 shows such a, removable from the support frame which is designed with a bendable lower leg part or neck part as a so-called health bed ".
- Fig. 7a shows an articulation for this bend.
- designed garden furniture has a chassis 1 on which a couch 2 or two couches are arranged.
- One couch can be folded up as a backrest or the backrest of a bench can be folded down as a second couch (see Fig. 5,6).
- the chassis 1 is already known per se. It consists of a horizontal frame 3 with horizontal longitudinal bars 4 and transverse bars 5 and with vertical posts 6 on the end faces. A wheel 7 is attached to each of the two front vertical posts 6. The longitudinal bars are extended rearwards in handles 8, so that the entire chassis, together with parts arranged thereon, can be moved like a wheelbarrow.
- One or two beds 2 can be arranged on such a mobile support frame.
- two loungers are arranged on this frame transversely to the direction of travel and a table between them.
- these couches are designed in such a way that they can also be used without the mobile supporting frame, in several types of use.
- each bed 2 according to the invention has its own load-bearing frame 9, on which a slatted frame is arranged, which forms the actual bed surface; namely, this slatted frame consists of a middle part fixedly attached to the frame, the seat part 10, to which on the one hand a back part 11 and on the other hand a leg part 12 are articulated.
- the back part 11 and the leg part 12 each have their own longitudinal spars 13, 14, on which crossbars 15 are applied.
- the longitudinal spars 13, 14 are articulated on the central part with joints 16.
- the back part 11 and leg part 12 are supported relative to the frame 9 by a spreading mechanism 17, known per se, and can be adjusted in different angular positions.
- the back part 11 and the leg part 12 are identical to one another. This reduces the cost of manufacture and there are two possible uses in which the user can either look in one direction or in the other direction.
- the user can adjust the back part 11 or the leg part 11 in the inclined position without having to get up from the couch.
- this is very convenient, there is a risk that at the moment of adjustment, in which the user will have hands on the back or Must attack the leg part, the user loses balance, the back part 11 swings back into the horizontal position and the user jams his fingers. This danger is eliminated by an additional safety support organ.
- the bed can be used independently of the chassis. This is followed by the following further configurations, which further uses can be developed:
- the longitudinal bars 9a of the support frame 9 have at least two insertion holes 20 for receiving plug pins 21 which protrude laterally from a plate 22.
- This plate 22 can thus be "plugged in” laterally next to the bed; the user thus has a storage area for magazines and / or drinks, for example. A separate side table previously used for this is not necessary.
- the plate 22 or the storage board can also be placed between the handles 8 of the support frame. The handles 8 thus simultaneously form support elements for the storage plate 22.
- the supporting frame 9 can easily be placed on the ground or floor. But you can also attach removable supports so that the lounger is raised to a higher height, which is cheaper especially for older people. This is also preferable when used in closed rooms.
- Such footrests can be designed in any way; at their upper end they each have at least one or better two horizontal bolts 24 which fit into the insertion holes 20. According to FIG. 3, these foot supports are formed by a single, bent wire bracket 25 with "bent" socket pins 24.
- this lounger can also be suspended like a swing, which gives it another possible use.
- a rope 26 is attached to one of the insertion holes 20 of the longitudinal spars 9a of the supporting couch frame 9 in the area of the four corners for this purpose.
- the upper rope ends can be attached to a frame such as a swing (possibly a Hollywood swing) or to a projecting part of a building, for example on the underside of a balcony.
- a further embodiment consists in the fact that an upper part (lower leg part 12a) of the leg part protrudes above the lower part is angled and can preferably be determined in the respective angular position. This upper part can therefore be set in the horizontal position, so you have a complete "health bed”.
- FIGS. 7 and 7a Such an embodiment is shown in FIGS. 7 and 7a.
- the longitudinal bars 14 of the swivelable leg part 12 are provided with a hinge 29 on their underside at a suitable distance from their articulation on the seat part 10, such that the protruding part is angled horizontally as a foot part 12a. In this angled, horizontal position, the foot part 12a is supported in a simple manner by the safety supports 18 mentioned in relation to the supporting frame 9, 9a.
- the aforementioned support mechanism 17 is provided near the joint or hinge 29, and preferably on the side facing the seat part 10.
- the safety supports 18 can also be swiveled in, so that the lower leg part 12a is supported on the frame 9 with its front end.
- Eyelets 30, 30a are provided near the upper edge of the longitudinal bars 14 and 14a, respectively, through which a locking bar 31 can be inserted. In the angled position according to FIGS. 7, 7 a, the locking bar 31 is withdrawn from the engagement with the eyelets 30, 30 a on the leg part 1, 2 a / 12. If the foot part 12a is pivoted up, the locking bar 31 can be pushed into the eyelets 30a on the lower leg part 14a / 12.
- Fig. 7 only one of the two parts which can be swiveled up, namely the leg part 12, is provided with an angled part 12a; as mentioned above, the back part and the leg part are preferably identical (claim 2), ie the back part 11 can also have a bendable, analog part 11a which forms a bendable headrest.
