Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for cutting brick moldings from a clay strand, in which a piece of clay strand cut from a clay strand is conveyed by transport devices to a belt table, the belts of which are slightly spaced apart, the clay strand piece is cut into individual bricks on the belt table and the bricks are then cut from further transport devices of a depositing device are fed.
- a method is already known in which a piece of clay strand of a certain length is conveyed onto a clay strand cutting device which consists of spaced conveyor belts arranged next to one another and a cutting frame which is pivotally mounted on one side and whose cutting wires are cut through with each cut the piece of clay strand and the gaps between the conveyor belts are passed through by hand.
- the piece of clay strand is cut into individual brick moldings, which are then transported close together out of the cutting device and fed to a settling device by transport devices.
- the cutting wires below the cut moldings are cleaned in order to ensure a smooth cut during the next cutting process.
- the cleaning devices of the clay strand cutting device described in DE-B-22 20 360, with which the method described above can be carried out are arranged under the conveyor belts, which has the disadvantage that these are difficult to access and therefore require a considerable amount of work to be maintained and adjusted.
- the conveyor belts of the cutting table must be replaced and the distance between the cutting wires changed.
- the belt table of the conveyor belts must be replaced together with the cutting frame in the known clay strand cutting device, which requires a considerable amount of work. If a cutting wire breaks, it must be replaced, which is done from the side by hand, which limits the width of the cutting device and only a limited cutting performance is possible.
- the invention has for its object to provide a method of the type mentioned, in which the disadvantages of the known method are avoided and a higher performance is achieved with gentle handling of the brick moldings.
- the method according to the invention is characterized in that the belt table with the piece of clay strand thereon is raised, the piece of clay strand being guided through fixed cutting wires which each pass through the gaps between the individual bands, that after this cutting process the bands of the band table in the raised position brought to a greater distance from each other and the bricks spaced further apart in this way are conveyed further in the raised position to the settling device and that the cutting wires are cleaned with the belt table in the raised position.
- the cutting wires are freely accessible for cleaning after the piece of clay has been cut.
- a cleaning device arranged in the area of the cutting wires is thus easy to maintain and adjust.
- the cutting wires are freely accessible regardless of the length of the strand piece and can be easily replaced if necessary.
- the conveyor table is expediently raised by a lifting device. During the cutting process, it proves to be particularly advantageous to guide the piece of clay strand through parallel cutting wires that are stretched at an angle to the bands of the band table. This cutting process creates flawless cut surfaces.
- the present invention further relates to a device for cutting brick moldings from a clay strand with a strand cutter, first transport devices for conveying a cut piece of clay strand onto a belt table, which has a plurality of bands spaced apart from one another, a cutting device for the clay strand piece with cutting wires, which are connected with those between the bands be Align sensitive gaps, and with second transport devices for further transport of the cut bricks to a setting device.
- this device is characterized in that a lifting device for the belt table is arranged, that the cutting wires are fixedly tensioned between the upper and lower positions of the belt table and that a spreading device is provided for changing the distance between the belts of the belt table.
- the cutting wires are stretched at an angle to the belts of the belt table.
- the cutting wires are freely accessible and can be easily replaced, in particular when the cutting lengths are changed, the cutting wires and the transport devices can be exchanged quickly.
- the device is advantageously equipped with a wire cleaning device and a waste belt arranged below the wires.
- the device according to the invention is characterized by ease of use and the possibility of rapid changeover to different cutting lengths.
- a clay strand piece 4 is cut from a clay strand 2 continuously extruded from a press 1 by a strand cutter 3, which piece is conveyed via an acceleration belt 5 onto a lowerable roller conveyor 6.
- the piece of clay strand 4 lies on a belt table 7, as can be seen in particular in FIG. 2, and is subsequently transferred to a belt table 8 transversely to the previous transport direction.
- This belt table 8 is attached to a lifting device 9.
- the piece of clay strand 4 lying on the belt table 8 is lifted upwards by the lifting device 9 perpendicular to the previous transport plane and thereby by the cutting wires 10, which are taut in parallel at an oblique angle parallel to the belts of the belt table 8, and which have the gaps between the belts of the belt table 8 aligned, pressed and thereby cut into individual bricks.
- the end pieces of the clay strand piece fall as waste onto a waste belt 11.
- the individual belts of the belt table 8 are brought to a greater distance from one another by a spreading device 12 and then the further-spaced rows of brick rows 13 are transferred to a transport path 14 (FIG. 3), from where they are subsequently fed to a depositing device for transfer to supporting documents.
- the cutting wires 10 are cleaned by a wire cleaning device 15, the cleaved clay residues falling onto the exposed waste belt 11.
- the belts of the belt table 8 are brought back to the original narrow distance by means of the spreading device 12 and lowered into the lower position in order to take over new pieces of clay 4 from the belt table 7.

Description
Darin zeigen :
- Fig. 1 Eine Aufsicht auf die untere Ebene der Vorrichtung, bei der die obere Transportbahn weggelassen ist;
