Definitions
- the invention relates to a process for removing soil water according to the preamble of independent claim 1.
- the present invention now aims to remedy this disadvantage. It is therefore the task of creating a sequence of the type mentioned at the outset which is frost-proof, which allows a change in the height and which can be easily cleaned. It should also be possible to change the overall height during installation and with simple means.
- the figure shows in section a drain with an outlet 1 with an upper opening 2, a side inlet 3 and an ascending outlet 4 with a baffle 5 and a bottom plate 6.
- the inlet 3 is connected to a water pipe, not shown here, through which Water flows into the drain from time to time, so that there is always an odor trap up to the accumulation edge 5.
- the drain port 4 can be connected to a drain pipe, not shown here.
- the drain pan 1 is made of metal and preferably in one piece.
- An inlet funnel 7 is inserted into the drain pan 1, the lower opening 8 of which is arranged below the accumulation edge 5 and the upper end of which projects above the upper opening 2 of the drain pan 1.
- a sealing ring 10 is inserted, which rests tightly on an annular shoulder 11 of the drain pan 1.
- a line 12 formed in the inlet funnel 7 directs the water flowing in through the inlet connection 3 into the drain pot 1.
- the outlet opening 13 of the line 12 is preferably below the accumulation edge 5, so that an effective seal is formed in the event of strong foam formation.
- the inlet funnel 7 is preferably in one piece and consists of a suitable plastic. Particularly suitable is a plastic which was produced by the process known in plastics technology under the abbreviation RIM (reaction injection molding).
- the drain pot 1 is flanged at its upper edge 14, so that a shoulder 15 is present on which a cylindrical or conical tube 16 can be placed.
- the tube 16 surrounds the protruding area of the inlet funnel 7 and gives this hold.
- a square border 17 with a circular opening 18 is placed on the upper edge of the tube 16, into which a grate 19 resting on the upper edge of the inlet funnel 7 can be inserted.
- a sheet 20 which can be welded with asphalt, tar or a PVC film, and which is welded onto a ring 21 with an angular cross section.
- the sheet 20 has an inner flange 22 which can be inserted between the tube 16 and the upper edge 14 of the drain pan 1.
- the sheet 20 is placed, for example, on the tubular concrete and covered with asphalt, gravel or mortar. This sealing device is also suitable for retrofitting.
- the drain pot 1 When installing the drain, the drain pot 1 is inserted into the floor and connected to the inlet and outlet pipes. If necessary, the ring 21 is inserted and the sheet 20 is glued on and the layer above is applied. Now the height of the inlet opening 3 is determined and the pipe 16 and the inlet funnel 7 are cut to the appropriate height and the border 17 and the grate 19 are put on.
- the inlet funnel 7 is lifted out and cleaned on a transversely arranged bolt 24.
- the drain is therefore also suitable as a sludge trap for roof water inlets.
