Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft ein medizinisches Kopfkissen nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
  • Ein Kissen dieser Art ist aus der FR-A-2161 519 bekannt, wobei das Zusatzkissen in Form einer Nackenrolle mittels einer um das Grundkissen geschlungenen Schnur mit dem Grundkissen verbunden ist. Dadurch ist das Zusatzkissen gegenüber dem Grundkissen sehr leicht beweglich, und es ist in seiner Lage relativ zum Grundkissen auch nicht genau festgelegt.
  • Die heutige Arbeits- und Lebensweise bringt es mit sich, daß Kopf und Schultern lange Zeit in einer Beugehaltung verharren, Dies gilt beispielsweise für alle Schreibtischberufe und auch für Schüler, da die horizontal liegende Arbeitsfläche zu einer verstärkten Beugehaltung zwingt. Auch die Tätigkeit am Fließband sowie in modernen Steh-Küchen zwingt zu einer stärkeren Kopfbeugung, wobei die Beugung meist zwischen dem zweiten und dritten Halswirbel erfolgt. Eine Abknickung der unteren Halswirbelsäule ergibt sich meist bei Schalterberufen, beim Arbeiten an Datensichtgeräten und dergl. Schließlich fordert die heutige verstärkte manuelle Tätigkeit in allen Berufsgruppen den Schaltervorfall, beispielsweise auch beim Autofahren. Diese sterotypen Beugestellungen führen zur Verkürzung entsprechender Muskeln, insbesondere der Kopfbeuger und des großen Brustmuskels.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein medizinisches Kopfkissen der eingangs angegebenen Art so auszubilden, daß es besser für die Regeneration des Halswirbelbereichs während des Schlafens dient und das Zusatzkissen eine vorgegebene Lage gegenüber dem Grundkissen einnimmt.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Merkmale des Kennzeichens des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Dadurch, daß das Zusatzkissen mit dem Grundkissen durch eine Naht verbunden ist, wird das Zusatzkissen relativ zum Grundkissen in seiner Stellung festgelegt, wobei die durch das Grundkissen hindurchverlaufende Naht das Grundkissen in zwei Abschnitte unterteilt, so daß die Füllung in diesen beiden Teilen der erwünschten Abstützung angepaßt werden kann und während des Gebrauchs eine Verschiebung dieser Füllung zwischen den beiden Abschnitten des Grundkissens nicht auftreten kann.
  • Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den weiteren Ansprüchen angegeben.
  • Beispielsweise Ausführungsformen der Erfindung werden nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert. Es zeigen:
    • Fig. eine Draufsicht auf eine Ausführungsform des Kopfkissens,
    • Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht auf eine weitere Ausführungsform des Kopfkissens, und
    • Fig. 3 eine perspektivische Ansicht des Kopfkissens.
  • Bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 1 ist ein rechteckiges Grundkissen 4 vorgesehen, auf welchem im unteren Bereich ein Zusatzkissen 5 aufgenäht ist, welches einen verdickten Bereich bildet und sich über die Breite des Grundkissens 4 erstreckt.
  • Das Grundkissen hat eine bevorzugte Abmessung von 40 bis 80 cm Höhe und 60 bis 80 cm Breite, während das Zusatzkissen bei einer Breite von 60 bis 80 cm eine Höhenabmessung von ca. 10 bis 20 cm aufweist. Das Zusatzkissen 5 ist derart auf dem Kissen angeordnet, daß der untere Rand des Zusatzkissens vorzugsweise einen Abstand von etwa 5 cm vom unteren Rand des Kissens aufweist.
  • Grund- und Zusatzkissen können die gleich Füllung und auch eine unterschiedliche Füllung aufweisen, beispielsweise eine Füllung aus Federn, aus synthetischem Material oder einer Mischung davon.
  • Beim Schlafen liegt der Halswirbelbereich auf dem Zusatzkissen 5 auf, wobei insbesondere die obere und die untere Halswirbelsäule abgestützt werden, während durch den unteren, etwa 5 cm hohen Randabschnitt des Grundkissens die Schultern abgestützt werden. Hierdurch ergibt sich eine leichte Dehnung der verkürzten Muskelgruppen, wobei eine zu starke Dehnung vermieden wird, die zu schmerzhaften Spannungen fähren würde. Da Beugung und Schultervorfall individuell unterschiedlich stark ausgeprägt sind, kann das beschriebene medizinische Kopfkissen zusätzlich zu dem bisher gewohnten Kopfkissen verwendet werden, dessen Dicke durch Vermindern der Füllung entsprechend verringert werden muß.
  • Die Breite des Kopfkissens ist so ausgelegt, daß es eine bequeme Kopfdrehung nach jeder Seite erlaubt, wobei es aber nicht so breit ausgelegt ist, daß der über dem Kopf liegende Arm in Seitenlage noch auf dem Kopfkissen liegt. Dies würde zu einer übermäßigen Dehnung des großen Brustmuskels führen. Die Breite des Kopfkissens beträgt deshalb vorzugsweise 60 cm.
  • Die Höhenabmessung des Kissens ist so ausgelegt, daß Kopf, Halswirbelsäule und obere Schultermuskulatur unterstützt werden, nicht aber die Schulter selbst. Die Hinterhauptschuppe soll etwa in der Mitte des Kopfkissens liegen. Da die Kissenfüllung in bestimmten Höhenabschnitten abstützen soll, dürfen die einzelnen Abschnitte nur wenig in dieser Richtung verschoben werden. Der Abstand Schulter-Hinterhaupt beträgt etwa 15 cm. Die Mindeshöhe liegt also, wenn das Hinterhaupt in der Mitte des Kissens liegen soll, bei 30 cm. Da jedoch der Kopf eine minimale individuell unterschiedliche Beugestellung erhalten soll, wird hierfür eine Verschiebezone von etwa 10 cm hinzugerechnet. Damit ergibt sich die zuvor angegebene Höhenabmessung von 40 cm.
  • Hinsichtlich der Dickenabmessung wird unter Berücksichtigung der S-förmigen Krümmung von Hinterhaupt, Hals- und Brustwirbelsäule und der individuellen Ausprägungen die Füllung so gestaltet, daß sie die einzelnen Etagen ausreichend unterstützt, kleine individuelle Verschiebungen aber zuläßt. Dabei wird vom aufrechten freien Stand des Körpers ausgegangen. In dieser Stellung ist vom hinteren Körperlängslot die Hinterhauptschuppe 1 cm, die Halswirbelsäule maximal 3 cm und die oberen 5 cm der Brustowirbelsäule wieder etwa 1 cm entfernt. Dementsprechend kann die Kissenfüllung so ausgelegt werden, daß das Kopfgewicht die Füllung in der Mitte des Kissens auf etwa 1 cm Dicke zusammendrückt. Da das Gewicht der etwa 10 cm langen Halswirbelsäule (Lotmaß) geringer ist, reicht es aus, wenn die Füllung in diesem Bereich nur doppelt so stark ist.
  • Der Abstand der oberen Schulter bis zum siebten Halswirbel beträgt etwa 5 cm. Dementsprechend wird in einem Abstand von etwa 5 cm vom unteren Rand des Grundkissens der verdickte Abschnitt 2 bzw. das Zusatzkissen 5 angeordnet, das für die Abstützung der Halswirbelsäule einen Abschnitt von 10 cm (Lotmaß) mit doppelter Füllung bildet. Der verbleibende Höhenabschnitt des Grundkissens von 25 cm (Lotmaß) weist die Grundfüllung auf.
  • Bei der bevorzugten Ausführungsform eines Grundkissens von 60 x 40 cm und einem Zusatzkissen von 60 x 10 cm in einem Abstand von 5 cm vom unteren Rand des Grundkissens wird das Zusatzkissen 5 wenigstens abschnittweise längs des unteren Randes am Grundkissen angenäht, um Verschiebezonen im Hinterhautpbereich zu ermöglichen. Hierdurch ergibt sich eine individuelle Anpassung sowohl an die unterschiedlichen Krümmungen und den Beugungswinkel Hinterhaupt-Halswirbelsäule, zusammen mit dem Lageschwerpunkt des Hinterkopfes etwas unterhalb der Mitte des Kissens. Der untere, 5 cm hohe Randabschnitt des Grundkissens unterstützt in Rückenlage die oberen Schulternmuskeln, nicht aber die Schultern selbst. In Seitenlage wird dieser untere Abschnitt durch die höher tretende Schulter nach oben geschoben und hilft somit, den Kopf zu unterstützen, der in Seitenlage höher und somit auf dem doppelt gepolsterten Abschnitt liegen soll.
  • Um dies noch wirksamer zu ermöglichen, ist bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 1 das aufgenähte Zusatzkissen 5 zu beiden Seiten hin von einer Höhenabmessung von etwa 10 cm in der Mitte auf etwa 15 cm nach oben verbreitert, wobei der dadurch gebildete wellenlinienförmige Rand 7 etwa dem Abdruck der Haaransatzlinie folgt, wie dies die Fig. 1 zeigt. Der untere Rand des Zusatzkissens 5 verläuft etwa parallel zum unteren Rand des Grundkissens 4, da in diesem Bereich die Korrektur durch die Schultern erfolgt.
  • Un die Höhenanpassung zu erleichtern, wird die in einem Abstand von etwa 5 cm vom unteren Rand des Kissens liegende Steppnaht als lockere Steppnaht ausgeführt.
  • Bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 2 sind zwei etwa parallel zu den Seitenrändern verlaufende Steppnähte 8 vorgesehen, welche am Zusatzkissen 5 in einem Abstand von etwa 15 cm vom Seitenrand verlaufen, so daß sich in der Mitte ein etwa 30 cm breiter Abschnitt ergibt. Bei dieser Ausgestaltung wird die Seitwärtsverschiebung der Füllung eingeschränkt und dadurch die Kissenform stabilisiert. Auch bei dieser Ausführungsform wird das so ausgebildete Zusatzkissen nur unten am Grundkissen angenäht.
  • Die Naht, mit der das Zusatzkissen 5 am Grundkissen 4 unten befestigt ist, verläuft durch das Grundkissen hindurch, so daß eine Unterteilung des Grundkissens in einen 5 cm hohen Abschnitt unten und einen 35 cm hohen Abschnitt oben entsteht, wie es Fig. 3 zeigt.
  • Durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung eines Kopfkissens wird einerseits die Halswirbelsäule unterstützt, wobei andererseits aber durch die obere Verschiebezone im Bereich des freiliegenden oberen Randes des Zusatzkissens eine exzentrische Kopflagerung und eine Anpassung an einen individuellen Krümmungsradius und Beugewinkel des Hinterhauptes ermöglicht wird. Für die Seitenlage ist eine untere Führungslinie für den prominenten siebten Halswirbel vorgesehen. Das Höhertreten des Kopfes wird durch diese Führung ebenfalls begünstigt, wobei durch den unteren, 5 cm hohen Randabschnitt des Grundkissens eine untere Verschiebezone vorhanden ist.
  • Als Füllung für das Grund- und das Zusatzkissen wird vorzugsweise eine Mischung aus 70% Polyester und 30% Schafschurwolle vorgesehen.
  • Die Dickenabmessung des Kissens kann beispielsweise 15-20 cm betragen, wobei der für die Abstützung des Halswirbelbereichs vorgesehene Abschnitt zusätzlich 5-10 cm dick ist.
  • Es kann zweckmäßig sein, die bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 2 sich ergebenden drei Abschnitte des Zusatzkissens mit einer unterschiedlichen Füllung zu versehen, wobei die Füllung in den beiden äußeren Abschnitten gleich ist.

Claims (4)

1. Medizinisches Kopfkissen für die Regeneration des Halswirbelbereichs, wobei in einem geringen Abstand vom unteren Rand eines Grundkissens (4) ein Zusatzkissen (5) angeordnet ist, das sich über die Breite des Grundkissens erstreckt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Zusatzkissen (5) mit dem Grundkissen (4) durch eine Naht verbunden ist, die durch das Grundkissen (4) hindurchverläuft und dieses in einen oberen und unteren Abschnitt unterteilt, wobei das Zusatzkissen (5) einen Abschnitt mit größerer Dickenabmessung als das Grundkissen (4) bildet.
2. Kopfkissen nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Grundkissen (4) eine Breitenabmessung von etwa 60 bis 80 cm und eine Höhenabmessung von etwa 40 bis 80 cm aufweist, wobei das Zusatzkissen (5) eine Breitenabmessung von 60 bis 80 cm und eine Höhenabmessung von etwa 10 bis 20 cm aufweist und mit seinem unteren Rand in einem Abstand von etwa 5 cm vom unteren Rand des Grundkissens (4) angeordnet ist.
3. Kopfkissen nach den Ansprüchen 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Zusatzkissen (5) an seinen beiden Seitenabschnitten mit einer größeren Höhenabmessung versehen ist (Fig. 3).
4. Kopfkissen nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Zusatzkissen (5) wenigstens zwei etwa parallel zu den Seitenrändern verlaufende Steppnähte (8) aufweist.
