Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for winding closed cores, in particular ferrite ring cores, for electrical coils, and to an apparatus for carrying out this method.
- DE-OS 28 20 674 describes a toroidal coil winding device with a toroidal core holder, an annular magazine guided through the toroidal core opening and carrying sliding rollers rotatably mounted for wire guidance and magazine, the toroidal core and the magazine being rotationally symmetrical about their preferably perpendicular to one another Axes are rotatable, with a wire feed and with a non-rotatably arranged element for fixing the beginning of the wire.
- the magazine of this known winding device is interrupted in a region of its length.
- the toroid With this magazine, the toroid can already be wound when it is filled. After the magazine is filled with the required amount of wire, the wire is separated from the supply roll and the free end of the wire is pulled behind as it is wound. There is no need to open the magazine at the start and end of the winding process. Simply insert the wire. There is no need for separate magazines, which means that the otherwise required steps are considerably reduced. Since this known device is already being wound during magazine loading, the clean one is reduced Winding time, but also the number of magazine turns. The reduced number of magazines in turn enables the processing of toroidal coils with relatively small "remaining holes", since magazines with a smaller cross section can be used.
- winding devices of this type do not allow extremely small toroidal cores, e.g. Wind toroids in the order of magnitude ⁇ 16mm toroid outer diameter.
- winding devices are known for this, they are equipped with ring magazines with sliders or magazine rings, depending on the wire thickness and "toroidal core hole". The handling of these winding devices is cumbersome and requires considerable "dexterity" with decreasing remaining hole.
- magazines must be stored before the start of winding, which is why, for economic reasons, winding is often already carried out by hand where a ring magazine could technically still be used.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a method that at least for the semi-automatic winding of small toroidal coils, e.g. in the order of 616mm toroid outer diameter is suitable.
- the invention has set itself the task of creating a device for performing this method, which is as immune to interference as possible and with the least effort.
- the method according to the invention used to achieve this object provides that a preferably stretched winding wire is wound onto the closed core by means of a magnetizable needle, for example a steel needle, attached to the beginning of the winding wire, the needle being under the effect of a magnetic field is guided along a closed orbit running partly through the core opening and decreasing in length with increasing winding duration.
- a magnetizable needle for example a steel needle
- the start of the winding wire is first firmly connected to the needle and then pulled off from a supply roll in a length corresponding to the winding, passing through the core opening, separated from this and the winding wire end clamped, after which the actual winding takes place.
- the needle is advantageously guided in its orbit under the action of a single magnet, which is along one. parallel orbit is conveyed to this orbit.
- the needle can also be guided under the action of a chain of electromagnets that is also parallel to its orbit, but is closed, which are switched off cyclically and taking into account the orbit shortened with increasing winding duration.
- the individual magnet can also be replaced by a closed chain of electromagnets which are arranged on a path parallel to the orbit of the needle and can be switched on and off continuously in the direction of movement of the needle.
- a separating brush is recommended between the needle running back and forth, the bristle ends of which, in particular thin plastic bristles, rest on the contact surface of the winding wire under slight pressure.
- FIG. 1 shows a rectangular and plate-shaped winding wire support 1 made of electrically and magnetically insulating material, in particular plastic.
- the winding wire support 1 has a rectangular opening 3, which serves to receive an annular core 2 shown in FIG.
- this toroidal core is rotated in the direction of arrow A by a partially indicated core rotating device consisting of 3 rollers, two of which, namely the rollers 20, 21, are shown.
- a supply roll 4 wound with wire 13 is arranged at a distance from the winding wire support 1.
- a wire cutting device 6 which can be pivoted in the double arrow direction B and a wire clamping device 5 which can be displaced in the double arrow direction C are connected between this supply roll and the opening 3.
- At 15 there are transformer sheets and at 14 a base plate Insulating material, especially plastic, indicated.
- a separating brush 11 is arranged, the preferably thin plastic bristles 16 of which rest on the winding wire support surface 1 under slight pressure.
- the electromagnets M are, as already mentioned, viewed in the direction of the orbit marked by arrow D, switched on and off, the steel needle being pulled from electromagnet to electromagnet.
- the steel needle 7 jumps to the side of the opposite track and is taken to the front reversal point adjacent to the ferrite ring core 2. There the steel needle jumps onto the path section leading through the ring core opening.
- the control of the electromagnets M takes place e.g. via "ring counter", step switches and. Like .. To align the steel needle 7 in the direction of the orbit, it is advisable to generate weaker "conductive fields" adjacent to the current-carrying electromagnet M, by a correspondingly lower current flow through these neighboring electromagnets. If the magnetic path is shortened with increasing winding times by control devices, the total winding time can be shortened considerably. In order to increase the pressure force acting on the steel needle 7, additional magnets (not shown in the drawing) can be arranged over the contact surface 1 of the winding wire 13.
- the constant alignment of the steel needle 7 in the winding direction is, for example, by appropriate formation of the magnetic field, i.e. e.g. possible thanks to comb-like poles of the electromagnets.
Abstract
