Claims (2)

1. Procédé pour augmenter la capacité de remplissage des tabacs par traitement du tabac à l'aide de gaz sous pression, suivi d'un échauffement après détente, dans lequel le tabac est soumis à un traitement au gaz sous haute pression, utilisant de l'azote et/ou de l'argon à des pressions de travail jusqu'à 1000 bars et à une température de travail comprise entre 0 et 50 °C, et dans lequel, après détente, le tabac est soumis à un post-traitement thermique de courte durée, caractérisé en ce que le traitement au gaz sous haute pression est effectué à une pression minimum de 150 bars lors de l'utilisation de l'azote, et à une pression minimum de 50 bars lors de l'utilisation de l'argon, et en ce que le post-traitement thermique est effectué à l'aide de vapeur d'eau d'une densité de 0,5 à 10 kg/m3, de préférence à l'aide de vapeur saturée présentant la densité précitée.
