Abstract

Invenţia se referă la procedeul de pregătire a tutunului pentru fabricarea articolelor de fumat, în special la procedeul de sporire a volumului de tutun.Scopul invenţiei constă în sporirea calităţii tutunului tratat. Procedeul include tratarea tutunului cu azot şi/sau argon gazos sub presiune la 0-50°C, scăzând-o ulterior până la presiunea atmosferică şi tratând termic. Tutunul cu umiditatea de 5-17% se supune tratării cu azot şi/sau argon gazos, iar înaintea tratamentului termic timp de 0,5-10 min. tutunul este impregnat cu vapori de apă saturaţi cu conţinutul de umiditate de 0,5-10 kg/m3.
