Abstract

Wenn bei einer Spannvorrichtung, insbesondere einem Schraubstock, deren Spannbacken mindestens zweiteilig sind, der jeweils am Werkstück anlegbare Backenteil derart an seinem rückwärtigen Backenteil abgestützt ist, daß er vom Werkstück aus gesehen beim Spannen geringfügig nach außen unten ausweicht, so üben die Spannbacken auf das Werkstück nicht nur eine Druckkraft in horizontaler Richtung aus, sondern zugleich auch noch eine gegen die Auflagefläche des Schraubstockes gerichtete Kraft. Die resul­ tierenden Kraftkomponenten der beiden Backen schließen einen stumpfen Winkel von weniger als 180° miteinander ein. Infolgedessen wird das Werkstück beim Spannen in den Schraubstock hineingezogen und man verhindert dadurch das bei einfachen Spannvorrichtungen zu beobachtende Hochgehen des Werkstücks beim Spannen.
Eine besonders gleichmäßige Pressung des Werkstücks, sowie einen guten Schutz gegen Verschmutzung durch Späne und dergleichen und nicht zuletzt auch eine lange Lebensdauer durch Verschleißminderung erreicht man bei einer derartigen Spannvorrichtung dadurch, daß zwischen jedem anlegbaren Backenteil (7, 8) und seinem rückwärtigen Backenteil (9, 10) wenigstens ein federelastisches Stanzglied (11, 12, 13) angeordnet ist.
