Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for packaging goods containers or the like.
  • the goods container is provided with a peripheral wall of corrugated cardboard, cardboard or the like which essentially surrounds its entire vertical side faces, and a packing base, the goods container initially having at least a part of it substantially vertical side surfaces tightly enclosing first, open top and bottom peripheral wall, and a collective packaging produced by this method.
  • Collective packaging serves to protect and hold together goods, for example consisting of tin cans, boxes or the like, during transport.
  • goods for example consisting of tin cans, boxes or the like
  • the use of multi-packs which are also suitable as shop packaging in the manner described above, makes it possible to "fill up" self-service shops or the like in the work area, so that goods are refilled into empty spaces, performance increases of 300 to 400%.
  • the previously known bulk packaging usually consist of rectangular boxes closed on six sides, which can be converted into the desired sales packaging by cutting open with a cardboard knife or by tearing open perforations or finally tearing off tear strips. Falling or shifting of the individual packs on the sales shelf is prevented by remaining remnants of the cardboard side walls.
  • the perforations of the known bulk packaging of the type described are, however, often very difficult to tear open, so that the dealer usually reaches for the cardboard knife in order to separate the cardboard more quickly, but the internal goods, i.e. the individual packs, can often be damaged.
  • the easier-to-use tear strips are expensive to manufacture and attach and are therefore not used on a larger scale.
  • FR-A-2 087 000 a bulk packaging with a first peripheral wall and a tray-like bottom part ("tray") is known, but in which the peripheral wall does not tightly enclose the goods package, so that it is a conventional carton overall or similar packaging that does not meet the requirements described above.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of providing a method of the type mentioned at the outset which enables less expensive packaging than by means of the previously known six-sided closed cartons, moreover ensures faster handling and delivers waste which is easy to remove, both reliable transport, good manageability as well as high security against falling over Goods or individual packs are guaranteed during transport and stacking in the self-service shop or the like.
  • This object is achieved in a method of the type mentioned according to the invention in that then a part of the first peripheral wall is enclosed tightly by a second circumferential wall, wherein one of the two peripheral walls separately formed g the entire vertical side surfaces of the goods e-bindes or the like tightly encloses and the other peripheral wall, which surrounds only the lower edge section of the vertical side surfaces of the goods container or the like, is designed as a circumferential, upstanding peripheral edge of a tray-like base part.
  • the bulk packaging created according to the invention has only five wall sections, it enables considerable material savings compared to previously common types of packaging, in which the cartons with flap gluing, in comparison to the bulk packaging created according to the invention, result in packaging material costs which are up to 40% higher, namely because punching the flap blanks in a conventional manner a lot of material is wasted.
  • the smooth tray bottom of the bottom part forms a good transport option in the case of the collective packaging created in the method according to the invention, since there are no tabs and the sharp-cut, vertical peripheral wall enables greater stacking stability during transport than with normal cartons.
  • the peripheral wall can be easily folded together and therefore results in a space-saving and inexpensive waste at the point of use as soon as the first peripheral wall is separated from the tray-like base part.
  • the collective packaging created according to the invention can be easily handled and stacked due to the tight press fit of the peripheral wall on the one hand and the peripheral edge of the base part on the other hand, as long as essentially horizontally acting compressive forces are exerted on the peripheral wall, while at the place of use a slight pulling off of the Circumferential wall is possible by means of vertically applied tensile forces, whereupon the goods or individual packs in the tray-like base parts can then be presented secured against lateral displacement.
  • peripheral edge of the bottom part firmly surrounds only the lower edge portion of the first peripheral wall creates a certain amount of leeway when the peripheral wall is pulled off within the peripheral edge around the goods container, which also makes it easier for the customer to remove the first individual pack from the tray-like base part.
  • the collective packaging according to the invention in the embodiment shown consists of a circumferential wall 12 which tightly and tightly encloses the packaged goods 10 and a box-lid or tray-like bottom part 20 which has a bottom 22 and a circumferential peripheral edge 24 which connects with the Floor 22 is firmly connected.
  • the peripheral wall 12 tightly and tightly surrounds the merchandise container 10 with static friction, while the peripheral edge 24 of the base part 20 in turn surrounds the lower edge portion of the peripheral wall 12 with a sufficiently frictional fit.
  • the packaging method according to the invention is carried out as follows: First, the product container 10, consisting of a number of individual packs, is compressed into a tight package and then surrounded by the peripheral wall 12, it being important that the peripheral wall 12 product container is tight and tight, that is to say frictionally , surrounds. After the bulk packaging has been brought into this packaging state, which can be seen in particular in FIG. 2, the tray-like base part 20 is applied by pushing the peripheral edge 24 onto the peripheral wall 12 from below. Here too, a tight, frictional connection of the peripheral edge 24 to the peripheral wall 12 is ensured. This process can be carried out quickly and without a variety of adhesive processes, as is the case with the packaging processes known to date.
  • the collective packaging completed in this way can be handled without difficulty, namely by applying either vertical, upward forces to the underside of the base part 20, that is in the direction of the arrow 14 shown in FIG. 4 below, or by applying horizontal compressive forces the Circumferential wall 12, as indicated in Fig. By the arrows 14 shown horizontally on the left and right.
  • the static friction between the goods 10 and the peripheral wall 12 on the one hand and between the peripheral wall 12 and the peripheral edge 24 of the bottom part 20 on the other hand holds the entire arrangement together, so that perfect transport is ensured.
  • essentially vertical tensile forces are exerted on the peripheral wall 12 in the direction of the arrows 16 in FIG.
  • the individual packs or goods After peeling off the peripheral wall 12, the individual packs or goods remain on the tray-like base part 20 and can thus be presented to the customer.
  • price or manufacturer information can be attached in a cost-effective and simple manner, which can be useful when selling.
  • the individual packs are loosely seated at a distance corresponding to the thickness of the peripheral wall 12 from the peripheral edge 24 of the tray-like base part 20, so that the customer can also remove the first individual packs without difficulty, but nevertheless the individual packs prevent them from falling over , Move or the like. Are secured.
