Definitions

  • the invention relates to a combined shipping and possibly presentation packaging with at least two presentation trays, each having a bottom part for supporting lumpy packaging goods and a lateral support for the packaging goods, and with a U-shaped lid, which lies with its web over the presentation trays and rests with its U-legs on the presentation bowls and is connected to them.
  • a combined shipping and possibly presentation package of the aforementioned type is known from GB-A-1 321 976.
  • the presentation trays of the known packaging are in the form of boxes which are open at the top and in which two side walls lying opposite one another are higher than the two side walls arranged perpendicularly thereto.
  • the presentation trays of the known packaging are stacked one above the other, the longer side walls of a lower presentation tray standing on its bottom part supporting the bottom part of the presentation tray arranged above it.
  • the U-legs of the lid overlap the shorter side walls of the presentation trays and are glued to them.
  • the packaging material in the presentation trays is secured in the shipping and, if applicable, presentation packaging according to GB-A 1 321 976 by a respective shrink film that wraps around the presentation tray.
  • the combined shipping and possibly presentation packaging can be opened by pulling the lid off after tearing a security strip. Then the shrink film of each presentation tray must be cut and removed using a suitable tool to make the packaged goods accessible.
  • the box-like presentation trays then allow access to the packaged goods from above. If the known presentation tray is set up in such a way that a side with a shorter side wall is presented to the user as the front side, it may be possible to access packaged goods located in the top of the presentation tray from the front. However, since in this case also the back of the presentation tray only has a greatly shortened side wall, there is a risk that the packaging material will fall back out of the presentation tray or be pushed and thereby come into a hidden position, which is undesirable.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a combined shipping and presentation packaging of the type mentioned, which is easy to handle, protects the packaged goods during shipping and contains presentation trays that enable an advantageous presentation of the packaged goods and easy access to the packaged goods.
  • presentation trays are arranged next to one another and are L-shaped in this way, each with a leg parallel to the web and a leg perpendicular thereto are designed so that the lumpy packaged goods can be stacked in the presentation trays on their parallel L-legs.
  • Packaged goods for example in the form of flat containers or flat-packed goods, are protected from damage during shipping by the U-shaped slip lid.
  • the packaging can be opened in a simple manner by loosening a securing means for the slip lid, for example only by tearing a securing strip, and by pulling off the slip lid without a cutting tool having to be used for this.
  • the user-friendly presentation trays are immediately available. Due to the L-shape of the presentation bowls, one of the L-legs forms the base part.
  • the other L-leg provides a rear wall after unpacking the relevant presentation tray, which prevents the packaged goods from falling out of the rear of the presentation tray when it is set up accordingly in a sales room or the like.
  • the packaged goods are clearly visible and easily accessible from the side opposite the rear wall and from above.
  • each presentation tray for the presentation of the packaged goods in the sales room can be set up in such a way that the parallel packaging of the stacked packaged goods as the base part, the web-parallel L-leg is used as the rear wall and the other leg as the bottom part.
  • the packaged goods in the form of flat-packed goods or flat containers are presented lying on their side in such a configuration, which gives a more pleasing presentation and allows easy access to several packaged goods at the same time.
  • the packaged goods are stacked one on top of the other on the parallel L-legs.
  • An expedient arrangement of the presentation trays under the slip lid is given if they are arranged in a row in the same direction under the U-shaped lid, so that the parallel L-leg of a presentation tray is directed towards the perpendicular L-leg of an adjacent presentation tray.
  • a likewise advantageous arrangement is given if two presentation trays are provided under the U-shaped cover in such a way that their L-legs perpendicular to the cover web each point to the outside of the packaging.
  • one U-leg rests on the L-leg of an outer presentation shell, which is perpendicular to the web of the lid, and the other U-leg on the free end of the horizontal L-leg of another external presentation bowl.
  • both U-legs of the U-shaped lid rest on the sides of the vertical L-legs of presentation trays directed towards the outside of the packaging.
  • the presentation trays preferably have side walls standing vertically on their two L-legs.

  • the presentation trays preferably each consist of a cardboard blank in which the L-legs are connected to the side and end walls via fold lines, and in which edge flaps are arranged on the side edges of the end wall and are connected to the end wall via fold lines. • the web of the U-shaped lid has at least one opening, which for viewing the packaging content and / or Detect the packaging and / or to ventilate the contents of the packaging.
  • This opening allows a direct view of the individual packaging of the goods in the shipping packaging as a viewing opening. As an opening, it makes it easier to pull off the slip lid from the presentation trays. Since the heat exchange is promoted through the opening, the cooling of the goods can be better guaranteed through the opening.
  • the end wall immediately below the web of the U-shaped slip lid lies and is cut out in the area of the slip lid opening so that a clear view of the packaged goods behind the lid opening is possible through the lid opening.
