Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for filling a foil sack in a pressure tank with a carbonated drink, in particular beer, the pressure tank being provided with two opposite openings, one of which has a beverage fitting for filling and tapping and the other is closed with a pressurized gas fitting for introducing pressurized gas between the tank wall and the film bag, in which method the film bag is first inserted through an opening into the pressurized tank through an opening before the fittings are attached, and its open end is then attached when it is attached the filling valve is brought into a pressure-tight flow connection with this valve, and in which case the pressurized gas valve and then the beverage valve are supplied with the beverage.
  • the pressure tank using the known method has the shape of a ton.
  • the pressure tank is brought into a horizontal position in which the two openings are laterally opposite one another.
  • the film bag is introduced into the interior of the pressure tank through the opening to be closed with the beverage fitting.
  • the foil bag is also filled in the horizontal position of the pressure tank. The foil bag should unfold successively.
  • the difficulty with such a method is to prevent wrinkles that are already covered by the beverage from remaining at those points of the film bag when the beverage is filled. As a result of the weight of the liquid, these folds can no longer be eliminated by further filling the film sack without running the risk of the filling sack bursting.
  • OMPI k >. WIPO It is known that a pressure tank with a certain wall thickness can absorb the highest pressure if it has the shape of a sphere. In the case of a spherical pressure tank, however, it is particularly difficult to fill without wrinkles.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a method for the crease-free filling of a film bag in a pressure tank, which can also have a spherical shape.
  • the object of the invention is achieved in that the foil sack is inserted into the pressure tank with a tubular sheath which remains in the pressure tank when the Fc sack is filled.
  • the envelope When filling, the envelope only releases as much of the film sack as the liquid just needed to form a flat liquid level covered by the film in the pressure tank. The rest of the foil bag remains tidy in the cover. In this way, the film bag cannot be wrinkled below the liquid level. In the completely filled state, the film bag has completely emerged from the casing. The envelope remaining between the film bag and the inner wall of the tank does not interfere, since this space is only filled with compressed gas.
  • An expedient development of the method according to the invention can consist in aligning the pressure tank before inserting the film bag in such a way that the opening to be closed with the pressurized gas fitting is at the top, so that the film bag with the cover passes through this opening from above the pressure tank is inserted, the open end of the film bag being directed downward and the sleeve being fastened with its upward end in the region of the opening mentioned to the pressure tank or to the compressed gas fitting.
  • the figure shows a section through a pressure tank with a foil bag and envelope.
  • a pressure tank composed of two spherical half-shells is designated by 1.
  • the spherical half shells are made of plastic.
  • the spherical pressure tank 1 is inserted into a ring 2 which contacts the pressure tank 1 along a meridian line.
  • the ring 2 consists of a tube which is connected to two hinge elements 3.
  • Each of the two hinge elements 3 is provided with an axle pin 8.
  • the two axle journals run in the equatorial plane of the pressure tank 1. They are mounted in pivot bearings 5 of a frame 4. On one side of the journal 8, the pivot bearing 5 is provided with a gap 9 through which a screw 6 extends. This screw 6 can be tightened by hand.
  • the pressure tank 1 is provided with an opening 20 at the top and with an opening 19 at the bottom.
  • the opening 20 is closed with a fitting 11 for introducing compressed gas.
  • the opening 20 is provided with a fitting 10 for filling in beer and for emptying. The beer is introduced into the fitting 10 via a line 15.
  • a collar-like ring 16 which forms the open end of a film bag 12.
  • the collar-like ring 16 is locked in the opening 19 by means of two separable ring halves 17a, 17b.
  • This type of fastening is known from DT-0S 20 50 376 and is not the subject of the present invention.
  • the film bag 12 is partly still in a tubular casing 13, which is attached with its upper end to a button 18, which is located on the compressed gas armature
  • the casing 13 can be pulled out through the opening 20 with the compressed gas fitting 11.
  • a new film bag 12 with a cover 13 is let into the container 1 from above through the opening 20 and the corresponding end of the sleeve 13 attached to the button 18 of the compressed gas fitting.
  • the compressed gas fitting 11 can then already be placed on the opening 20.
  • the end of the film bag 12 looking out of the envelope 13 is the collar-shaped ring 16. This ring itself passes through the opening 19 or can be pulled through the opening 19 by hand.
  • the collar 16 is then fixed in the opening 19.
  • the valve 10 can be placed on the opening 19 and screwed tight. Now pressurized gas is introduced through the fitting 11 into the container 1.
  • beer is introduced through line 15 into the fitting 10.
  • the beer flows against the pressure in the pressure tank 1 into the film bag 12 and forms a liquid bed 1.4, the surface of which is covered with the film of the film bag 12.
  • the film bag 12 is pulled further and further out of the casing 13. It is thereby ensured that the film bag 12 does not form any folds under the liquid bed 14.
