Definitions

  • the invention relates to an awning with a housing with a plurality of spaced-apart posts to which a roof covering the retracted awning and / or a lower floor covering the awning below can be clamped.
  • awning of the type described in more detail known (DE-A-15 09 952), in which the upper box wall, the lower box wall and the front cover of the housing consist of flexurally and torsionally rigid metal profiles which are provided with molded angle rails for this purpose Slots of the U-shaped posts are inserted.
  • the housing assembled in this way is then attached in some form to the wall, a projecting cornice or another part of the building on which the awning shaft and its drive are also mounted.
  • the attachment of the housing usually has to be done before the awning is installed with its articulated mechanism, which makes the assembly of the awning more difficult.
  • the object of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to provide a cover that can be used for all awnings of the same type regardless of the type of installation, is easy to manufacture and can also be installed in a few simple steps after the assembly of the parts carrying the awning, and also can be retrofitted to already installed awnings of the same type.
  • the posts have a claw at their lower end, with which they are pushed over a support, which at the same time carries the fabric shaft and the drive for the awning, and that the posts lock on the support with clips are, which at least partially encompass the carrier and engage in the claws of the posts.
  • This embodiment has the advantage that the housing can be attached regardless of the housing shape required in each case after assembly of the awning, since it is carried entirely by the main support of the awning.
  • the posts which carry all the essential parts of the housing, are simply pushed from behind over the carrier and held on to it with the clasps inserted from the front over the carrier.
  • Holders can be fastened to the clasps, which carry hooks at their lower ends, which are directed opposite hooks arranged on the posts and which engage behind projections arranged on the inner surface of the lower bottom. After the posts have been fastened to the carrier, the base with its projections can then be pushed from the side behind the opposing hooks of the holder and the post and cannot fall out. If there is a wall under the awning or if it is embedded in a niche, the lower floor can also be omitted.
  • the posts have, as is known per se, cantilevered support arms which, according to the invention, have upwardly directed support cams at their free ends and spaced apart therefrom holes for fastening screws, the head of which can be displaced in a groove encompassing this, which is on the underside of the Roof is arranged.
  • the roof can then be pushed onto the posts from the side, the screws inserted into the holes in the projecting support arms sliding with their heads along the grooves in the roof.
  • the nuts can be screwed onto the fastening screws beforehand and then only have to be tightened.
  • the roof and the lower floor can have projecting catches on their rear outer surfaces at a distance from the rear edge, behind which the bent upper and lower edges of a pushed-on rear wall engage with projections arranged on the inner sides in the form of resilient tongues.
  • the housing can also be closed in a very simple manner on its rear side in this way. It is only necessary here to slide a plate provided with bent edges from behind, which clamps itself with the appropriately spring-formed, bent edges and projections arranged on them on the roof and on the lower floor of the housing. It is useful to fix the rear wall exactly in its position moderate if the roof and the lower floor have grooves on their rear edges, into which strips arranged on the rear wall engage. The rear wall can then no longer move after plugging in as soon as the projections reach behind the catches on the roof and on the lower floor.
  • the roof, the floor and / or the rear wall of the housing can expediently consist of metal or plastic panels which have strips on their inner sides for reinforcement or can be provided with flanged edges.
  • the roof profile can also advantageously have a rain deflector strip, which overlaps the edge of a front housing wall, which is fastened to the drop profile strip.
  • two T-shaped brackets 12 with screws 13 or the like are arranged on the underside 10 of a balcony slab 11 1 or the ceiling of a room. attached, each of which has an angular holder 15 on its downwardly projecting web 14, has a mouth 16 which is open at the front at its lower end and into which a longitudinally extending support 17 with a box profile is inserted.
  • the angular holder 15 are fastened to the brackets 12 with screws, not shown here, which are arranged through the indicated holes 18 in the web of the bracket 12 and the holder 15.
  • the carrier 17 carries near its two ends the bearing blocks 19 for the fabric shaft 20 and the support cheeks 21 for the articulated arms 22 and 23.
  • the drop profile 24 is fastened, in which the front edge of the awning fabric 25 is clamped, the is wound up on the cloth shaft 20 in the retracted state.
  • the awning 26 is surrounded in the retracted state by a housing 27 which consists of a roof 28, a lower floor 29, a rear wall 30, a front housing wall 31 and a plurality of posts 32.
  • the posts 32 are arranged at a lateral distance from one another and have at their lower end 33 an open claw 34 with which they are pushed onto the carrier 17 from behind.
  • Each post 32 is held on the carrier 17 with a U-shaped clasp 38, the two resilient legs 39 of which have barbs 40 pointing inwards at their ends, with which they engage in recesses 37 which are approximately triangular in cross section and which engage on the outer sides of the Legs 35 and 36 of the claw 34 "of the posts 32 are arranged.
  • the resilient clasp 38 engages around the front narrow side of the carrier 17 and locks the post 32 in its position as soon as the barbs 40 of the clasp 38 have engaged in the recesses 37.
  • the posts 32 are provided at their lower end 41 with a hook 42, facing forward, i.e. points in the direction of the articulated arms 22, 23 and the drop profile 24.
  • a similar, but inwardly facing hook 43 is arranged at the lower end of a holder 44 which is fastened to the web 46 of the clasp 38 with a hexagon screw 45.
  • the connecting web 46 of the clasp 38 has on its inside a recess 47, in which the nut 48 for the screw 45 is arranged such that it cannot turn when the screw 45 is tightened or loosened.
  • the lower bottom 29 of the housing 27 has on its inner surface 49 two hook-shaped projections 50 and 51, one of which engages behind the hook 43 of the holder 44 and of which the other engages behind the hook 42 at the lower end 41 of the post 32.
  • the projections 50 and 51 are at the same distance from one another as the hooks 42 and 43 and are opposite to them, that is to say directed forwards and backwards, so that they engage behind the hooks 42 and 43 from the inside.
  • stop and stiffening strips 52 and 53 are provided on the inner surface 49 of the lower floor 29, which are intended to stiffen the floor and keep it at the correct distance from the underside of the posts 32 or the holder 15.
  • the posts 32 have a support arm 55 which projects forward and has at its free end 56 an upwardly directed support cam 57 and at a distance therefrom a bore 58 for a fastening screw 59.
  • the roof 28 has a C-shaped bar 62 which runs in the longitudinal direction and has a T-shaped groove 63 which is open on the underside of the bar. The width and height of this groove 63 is the head 64 of the fastening screw 59 adapted, which slide along in this groove, but can not turn.
  • the roof 28 lies with the bar 62 on the support arm 55 of the post 32 and is additionally supported with a reinforced rear edge 65 on the post 32.
  • the roof 28 is bent downward and here carries a rain deflector strip 67 which engages over the upward fold 68 of the front housing wall 31.
  • the awning 26 and its support and on Drive devices are covered on the back by a rear wall 75, which consists essentially of a flat sheet, the upper and lower edges 76 and 77 are bent approximately at right angles to the front and have projections 78 and 79 on their inner sides. With these projections 78 and 79 engage behind the upper and lower edges 76 and 77 of the rear wall 75 projecting notches 72, which are arranged at a distance from the rear edge 65 and 71 of the roof 28 and the lower floor 29 on the outer surfaces 69 and 70, respectively are.
  • the rear wall 75 additionally has projecting ledges 80 and 81 which engage in grooves 82 and 83, which are arranged on the rear edges 65 and 71 of the roof 28 and the lower floor 29, respectively.
  • the roof 28, the lower floor 29, the rear wall 30 and the front wall 31 of the housing 27 are made of drawn aluminum panels in the illustrated embodiment. They can also be made from aluminum anodized steel sheets or molded from plastic.
  • the posts 32 and the clasps 38, the holder 44 and the connecting means in the form of screws 45 and 59 are suitably made of metal, preferably steel.
