Abstract
Se describe un dispositivo, sistema y método en el cual muestras de sangre de volumen pequeño se someten a fuerzas de cizalladura y esfuerzos de cizalladura entre dos superficies planas paralelas a las cuales se imparten trayectorias de movimiento lineales. La formación de coágulos o la coagulación de la muestra se miden a partir del acoplamiento mecánico dinámico que ocurre entre las dos superficies planas paralelas. La detección de la respuesta de coagulación puede realizarse por sondeo óptico o por medida de los efectos físicos de la muestra de sangre que se fija a las superficies planas, y restricción del movimiento de las mismas.
