Abstract
La invención tiene por objeto un procedimiento de templado continuo de una cinta metálica (1) en una cuba (11) que contiene un baño de metal (12) liquido, procedimiento en el cual se hace deslizar sin interrupción la cinta metálica (1) dentro de una camisa (13) cuya parte inferior (13a) es sumergida en el baño del metal (12) liquido para determinar con la superficie de dicho baño una obturación hermética (14) por líquido. Se realiza un derrame natural del metal líquido de la superficie de la obturación por líquido (14) en dos compartimentos de derrame (25,29) preparados en la mencionada camisa (13) incluyendo cada uno de ellos una pared interna que se prolonga la camisa (13) en su parte inferior y se mantiene el nivel de metal liquido en los mencionados compartimentos a un nivel por debajo de la superficie de la obturación por líquido (14). la invención tiene igualmente por objeto una instalación para la utilización del procedimiento.
