Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent an overflow of water at a minimum temperature in a hot water reservoir tank and to restrict a thermal loss to a minimum by a method wherein an end of an overflow pipe dipped in water is arranged in the recessed part made in the bottom. CONSTITUTION:The end 5 of the overflow pipe 4 dipped in water 4 having its top end at a substantially same level as that of the open end 3 of the hot water supply pipe 2 for use in supplying hot water from a source of hot water is arranged in the recessed part 6 made in the bottom 2a. The top end of the pipe 4 and the an venting pipe 7 are provided with a bypass pipe 8 so as to prevent a siphonic action of water discharged from the overflow port 5 accepting a high pressure through the overflow pipe. Further, open end 10 of the hot water supply pipe 9 for use in distributing the hot water is arranged at a place lower than the top end of the pipe 4 and at the same time the water hole 11 is arranged near the open end of the pipe 9. That is, the water immersion port 5 of the pipe 4 is positioned at the recessed part 6 arranged at the bottom 2a, so that the water at the lowest temperature is overflowed into the hot water reservoir tank, so its thermal loss can be restricted to a minimum value.
