Abstract

Изобретение относится к неорганическому сцинтилляционному материалу типа иодида, имеющего формулу ALnLn'I, в которой А представляет собой, по меньшей мере, элемент, выбранный из Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs; Ln представляет собой по крайней мере первый редкоземельный элемент, выбранный среди La, Gd, Y, Lu, причем упомянутый первый редкоземельный элемент имеет в вышеуказанной формуле валентность 3; Ln' представляет собой по меньшей мере второй редкоземельный элемент, выбранный из Се, Tb, Pr, причем упомянутый второй редкоземельный элемент имеет валентность 3 в вышеуказанной формуле; х - целое число и представляет собой 0, 1, 2 или 3; у - целое или не целое число больше 0 и меньше 3; у' - целое или не целое число больше 0 и меньше у. Материал согласно изобретению имеет высокую захватывающую способность, короткое время высвечивания, в частности менее 100 нс, хорошее энергетическое разрешение (в частности, ниже 6% при 662 кэВ) и большой световой выход. Он может быть использован в аппаратуре ядерной медицины, в частности в Гамма камерах типа Anger и сканерах для Позитрон-Эмиссионной Томографии.
