Abstract

The invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and is aimed at recovery of patients' hearing. The task was to create a method, providing extensive access to all middle ear cavities, reducing trauma degree and shortening duration of surgery on the whole, and as a result to recover hearing function. The task is solved in the following way: the disclosed method includes skin incision, skin separation, trepanation to penetrate into middle ear cavity, cavity sanitation, the following drainage and wound closing with sutures; for this purpose incision of skin and subcutaneous cellular tissue is made on postauricular fold to periosteum, which is left intact, skin and subcutaneous tisue are separated in backwards direction. After that semicircular cut of periosteum is made on the posterior wound edge, after which it is separated forwards until posterosuperior bone edge of meatus and suprameatal protuberance are observed, which contributes to formation of free periosteal flap. After that, trepanation of mastoid process is performed and after penetration into atral cavity its sanitation is performed, with preservation of posterior wall, its gradual thinning, to provide sufficient dilatation of entrance into attic. Quality of dilatation is under constant control, for which purpose antrum is filled with 1% Sol. Dioxidini until free drain of the contents from external acoustic meatus into antrum is achieved. Thus, the disclosed method provides access and possibility of objective estimation of condition of middle ear cavities, accurate diagnosis and performance of surgery without extensive traumas, which on the whole contributes to solution of the task aimed at recovery of hearing function.
