Claims (18)

1. Komplet daglig sondeernæringsformulering, med en kalorietæthed på fra 0,5 til 0,8 kilokalorier pr. ml, omfattende: en forarbejdet helkostkomponent; en kilde af vitaminer eller mineraler; og en proteinkilde der tilvejebringer energi fra protein i en mængde fra ca. 18% til ca. 35% af formuleringens samlede energi, og med en osmolaritet der er mindre end eller lig med 400 mOsm/kg vand.
2. Sondeernæringsformuleringen ifølge krav 1, hvor den forarbejdede helkostkomponent er valgt fra gruppen bestående af en forarbejdet frugt, en forarbejdet grønsag, et forarbejdet kød, et forarbejdet korn, og kombinationer deraf.
3. Sondeernæringsformuleringen ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor proteinet er valgt fra gruppen bestående af mælkebaserede proteiner, plantebaserede proteiner, dyrebaserede proteiner, kunstige proteiner, og kombinationer deraf.
4. Sondeernæringsformuleringen ifølge krav 3, hvor de mælkebaserede proteiner er valgt fra gruppen bestående af kasein, kaseinater, kasein hydrolysat, valle, vallehydrolysater, vallekoncentrater, valleisolater, mælkeproteinkoncentrat, mælkeproteinisolat, og kombinationer deraf.
5. Sondeernæringsformuleringen ifølge krav 3, hvor de plantebaserede proteiner er valgt fra gruppen bestående af sojaprotein, ærteprotein, rapsprotein, hvede-og fraktionerede hvedeproteiner, majsproteiner, zeinproteiner, ridsproteiner, havreproteiner, kartoffel proteiner, peanutproteiner, grøn-ærtepulver, grøn-bønnepulver, spirulina, proteiner afledt fra grønsager, bønner, boghvede, linser, bælgfrugter, enkeltcelleproteiner, og kombinationer deraf.
6. Sondeernæringsformuleringen ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav yderligere omfattende et phytonæringsstof valgt fra gruppen bestående af flavanoider, beslægtede phenoliske forbindelser, polyphenoliske forbindelser, terpenoider, alkaloider, svovl-indeholdende forbindelser, og kombinationer deraf.
7. Sondeernæringsformuleringen ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav yderligere omfattende et nukleotid valgt fra gruppen bestående af en underenhed af deoxyribonukleinsyre, en underenhed af ribonukleinsyre, polymeriske former af DNA og RNA, og kombinationer deraf, hvor nukleotidet er tilvejebragt i en mængde på mindst ca. 10 mg/100 kcal.
8. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af en sondemadssammensætning, fremgangsmåden omfattende: kombinere en helkostkomponent, en kilde af vitaminer eller mineraler og en proteinkilde der tilvejebringer energi fra protein i en mængde fra ca. 18% til ca. 35% for at danne en blanding; og forarbejde blandingen for at danne en sondemadssammensætning der er en komplet daglig ernæring, og sondeernæringsformuleringen har en kalorietæthed på 0,5 til 0,8 kilokalorier pr. ml og en osmolalitet der er mindre end eller lig med 400 mOsm/kg vand.
9. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 8, hvor helkostkomponenten er valgt fra gruppen bestående af en frugt, en grønsag, et kød, et korn, og kombinationer deraf.

11. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 8 til 10, hvor helkostkomponenten er en kilde af phytokemikalier og/eller nukleotider.
12. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 8 til 11, hvor sondeernæringsformuleringen har en kalorietæthed på fra ca. 0,5 til ca. 0,8 kilokalorier pr. ml.
13. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 8 til 12, hvor kilden af vitaminer eller mineraler omfatter en kilde af vitamin D der tilvejebringer mindst 500 IU.
14. Fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 8 til 13, hvor sondeernæringsformuleringen omfatter nukleotider i en mængde på mindst ca. 10 mg/100 kcal.
15. En hypokalorisk komplet daglig sondeernæringsformulering, med en kalorietæthed på fra ca. 0,5 til ca. 0,8 kilokalorier pr. ml, omfattende en forarbejdet helkostkomponent, en kilde af vitaminer eller mineraler, og en proteinkilde der tilvejebringer fra ca. 18% til ca. 35% energi fra protein, og med en osmolaritet der er mindre end eller lig med 400 mOsm/kg vand, til anvendelse i forbedring af den totale sundhedstilstand hos en sondemads-tilført pædiatrisk patient med en underliggende medicinsk tilstand.
16. Sondeernæringsformuleringen ifølge krav 15, hvor den underliggende medicinske tilstand er valgt fra gruppen bestående af cerebral palsi, mistrivsel, neuromuskulære lidelser, hjerneskade, udviklingsmæssig forsinkelse, immunodeficiens, lav knoglemassefylde, tryksår, kroniske sår, langtids-sondemads-patienter, og kombinationer deraf.
17. Sondeernæringsformuleringen ifølge kravene 15 eller 16, hvor kilden af vitaminer eller mineraler omfatter en kilde af vitamin D der tilvejebringer mindst 500 IU af vitamin D pr. liter af formuleringen eller pr. 600 kcal.
18. Sondeernæringsformuleringen ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 15 til 17, hvor sondeernæringsformuleringen omfatter nukleotider i en mængde på mindst ca. 10 mg/100 kcal.
