Claims (3)

  1. PAT E NT K RAV
    1. Fremgangsmåde til detektering af en gærcellevægkomponent i en prøve, omfattende: - at tilvejebringe en næringsmiddel- eller foderprøve valgt blandt gruppen bestående af husdyrsfoder, kæledyrsfoder, TMR (Total Mixed Ration), grøntfoder, foderpiller, kraftfoder, foderforblandingsbiprodukt, korn, bærme, melasse, fiber, foder, græs, hø, kerne, blade, mel, opløseligt foder og ekstrakter deraf; - at foretage en prøvning, der omfatter at bringe et primært antistof, der kan binde til et antigen valgt blandt gruppen bestående af (1^4)-a-D-glucan, (1^6)-p-D-glucan og (1^4)-α-/(1^6)-β-Ο-glucan, i kontakt med prøven under betingelser, således at det primære antistof danner et kompleks med antigenet, hvis det findes; og at anvende et andet antistof til at detektere det primære antistof-antigenkompleks, hvor detekteringen af det primære antistof-antigenkompleks giver en indikation af forekomsten af gærcellevægkomponenten i prøven.
  2. 2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor fremgangsmåden omfatter at opnå ekstraktet fra prøven ved anvendelse af organisk opløsningsmiddel og syre.
  3. 3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor fremgangsmåden omfatter at opnå ekstraktet fra prøven ved anvendelse af dimethylsulfoxid og saltsyre.
