Claims (4)

1. In vitro fremgangsmåde til forudsigelse af risikoen for at et subjekt udvikler en cardiovaskulær hændelse, omfattende at bestemme tilstedeværelsen af en biomarkør, som er indikativ for risikoen for at udvikle en cardiovaskulær hændelse, i exosomer fra subjektet, hvor biomarkøren er et protein valgt fra gruppen bestående af: Vitronectin, SerpinF2, CD14, Cystatin C, Plasminogen og Nidogen 2.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor exosomerne er isoleret fra en kropsvæske valgt fra gruppen bestående af: serum, plasma, blod, urin, fostervand, ondartet ascites, bronkoalveolær skyllevæske, synovialvæske, modermælk og saliva.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor biomarkøren er en hvilken som helst kombination af to eller flere proteiner valgt fra gruppen bestående af: Vitronectin, Ser-pinF2, CD14, Cystatin C, Plasminogen og Nidogen 2.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af krav 1-3, hvor den cardiovaskulære hændelse er valgt fra gruppen bestående af: vaskulær død eller pludselig død, fatalt eller ikke-fatalt slagtilfælde, fatal eller ikke-fatal myokardieinfarkt, fatal eller ikke-fatal ruptur af en abdominal aortaaneurisme, ruptur af en abdominal aortaaneurisme bekræftet ved lapa-ratomi, vaskulær intervention, koronar arteriesygdom, transitorisk iskæmisk attak (TIA), perifer arteriel sygdom, akut koronart syndrom, hjertesvigt eller restenose af carotis-, koronar-, femoralis- eller andre arterier.
