Claims (9)

1. Verfahren zum dichten Verschließen von Verpackungen aus einem Schichtwerkstoff mit mindestens zwei an beiden Seiten eines Kartons (2) angeordneten Schichten aus einem Thermoplasten (1,3), der zunächst zur Bildung eines Zuschnitts gefalzt und anschließend an den Enden zur Bildung eines Bodens (8) und einer öffnung (9) gefaltet ist und mehrere Schichten aus imprägniertem Karton aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man durch Anwendung von Wärme und Druck einen Teil des die Innenfläche des thermoplastischen Kartons überziehenden Thermoplasten derart fließfähig erweicht, daß der Thermoplast die verbleibenden Zwischenräume (21,22) am Ende der Bereiche des übereinanderliegenden Kartons ausfüllt.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Fließbewegung mittels Rippen (26,28) erzeugt, die in den Schweißbacken (24,25) vorgesehen sind, welche die Verschweißung der miteinander in Kontakt stehenden gefalteten Teile des Kartons bewirken.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Bereiche mit einer größeren Anzahl übereinandßrliegender Kartonschichten durch die Schweißbacken eingeprägt werden, bevor und während diese den Schweißdruck ausüben.
4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch ge-
kennzeichnet, daß beim Schweißen des Oberteils (9), dessen zwei Seiten (17,18) V-förmig gefaltet sind und unter Abgrenzung zweier miteinander fluchtender Sätze von Streifen (19,2= bis zum tatsächlichen Kontakt aneinander angenähert werden, einerseits die beiden miteinander fluchtenden Streifen (19,20) über ihre gesamte Länge eingeprägt und andererseits die den beiden Streifen benachbarten Bereiche durch entsprechende Rippen (28) gestanzt
werden, wobei die Stanzung in der Nähe des Zwischenraums (21), der das Ende der Streifen trennt, erfolgt, so daß der Thermoplast in diesen Zwischenraum sowie in den Zwischenraum (22 u. 22a) über dem Außenrand der Streifen unter den beiden miteinander verbundenen Lappen (10,11) fließt, die an den Frontseiten der Verpackung abgegrenzt sind.
5. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die zum Verschweißen und Stanzen dienenden Schweißbacken (24,25) den durch die jeweilige Anzahl der übereinanderliegenden gefalteten Kartonschichten unterschiedlichen Wandstärken entsprechend angepaßt sind.

Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, gekennzeichnet durch die Verwendung eines schichtförmigen Werkstoffs mit in Aufeinanderfolge einer Schicht aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff (1), einer Kartonschicht (2), einer Schicht aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff (3), einer Metallschicht (4) und einer Schicht aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff (5).
7. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schichten aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff aus Polyäthylen bestehen.
8. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Metallschicht aus Aluminium besteht,
9. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zugleich mindestens eine Kunstharzschicht von erhöhter Dichtheit vorgesehen ist.
