Die Neuerung betrifft eine mehrlagige Wundkoapresse
iiit erhöhter Saugwirkung, «eiche nicht an der Wunde
haftet» Die Wuhdkompresse besteht aus Vliesstoffen*
Es sind zahlreiche Wundkompressen auf der Basis von Oeweben oder Vliesstoffen bekannt, wobei textile
Pasern oder Fäden aus Naturstoffen, z.B. Zellulose, oder aus synthetischen Fasern verwendet werden. Naturstoffe
haben eine außerordentlich gute Saugwirkung, jedoch verkleben sie sehr rasch mit der Wunde. Nach
dem Eintrocknen des Wundsekretes treten mehr oder weniger große Schwierigkeiten bei der Abnahme des
Verbandes auf. Die Wundheilung wird durch das wiederholte Aufreißen der Wunde verhindert. Aus diesem Grunde
wurde auch schon vorgeschlagen (US-PS 32 85 245),

z.B. aur Polyestern j oder In Pulverfox-iä aufgetragene
und angesinterte Polyolefinschichten als oLerste Lage bei der Abdeckung von Wunden zu verwenden. Es stellte
sich jedoch heraus, daß das Wundsekret insbesondere in vertikaler Richtung aufgenommen und weitertransportiert
wird und so sehr schnell auf die Oberseite der Wundkompresse durchschlägt.
Der Neuerung liegt nun die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Wundkompresse zu entwickeln, welche einerseits eine
erhöhte Saugwirkung besitzt und andererseits nicht mit der Wunde verklebt und das "Durchschlagen" des
Sakrets an die Oberfläche des Verbandes verhindert.
Es wird eine mehrlagige Kompresse vorgeschlagen, welche dadurch gekennzeichnet Ist, daß sie aus isindestens
5 Lagen bzw. Schichten besteht, wobei die beiden Außenschichten aus nicht mit der Wunde verklebendem
durchlässigem Material, bestehen, auf das gegebenenfalls ein Folyolefinpulver aufgesintert ist, und hinter beiden
Außenschichten je eine Saugschicht aus Zellulosefasern mit gegebenenfalls einem gelingen Anteil an Synthesefasern
angeordnet ist, und die Saugschichten durch eine in der Kompre
mitte vorgesehene Verteilerschicht aus Zellstoff, Carboxynjethylzellulose
oder Stärkepolymeren voneinander getrennt sind. Als Material für die Außenschichten wird ein geeigneter
Vliesstoff, ein Gewebe oder Gewirke oder eine entsprechend gelochte Folie aus hautfreundlichem Kunststoff verwendet.
Durch den Einbau der in der Mitte der Kompresse angeordneten Verteilerschicht wird eine größere Effektivität der Kompresse
erzielt, indem das Sekret beim Auftreffen auf diese Verteilerschicht
horizontal ausgebreitet wird. Dies führt dazu, daß nicht nur das unmittelbar über die Wunde liegende Verbandmate]
als Saugschicht beansprucht wird. Erst bei Sättigung einer größeren Fläche mit Sekret schlägt dieses zur Oberseite durch

Die neuerungsgemäße Wundkompresse gibt durch die §

gegen Infektionen von außen, weil Keime nicht durch %

können. Bekanntlich besteht bei einem durchnäßten |;
Verbandmaterial eine erhöhte Infektionsgefahr. Bei |
den bekannten Kompressen, z.B. gemäß US-PS 32 85 245 f
ist sogar ein regelrechter Flüssigkeitskanal vorhanden, |
durch den Krankheitskeime von außen nach innen ein- f.
dringen Können. Durch die neuerungsgeisäße Verteiler- f
schicht ist die Infektionsgefahr jedoch beseitigt bzw. I1
um ein Wesentliches vermindert. 1
Es ist zweckmäßig, daß mindestens die beiden Außen-
schichten und die Mittelschicht aus einem Vliesstoff i"
bestehen. Der bzw. die Vliesstoffe enthält vorzugsweise f;
Fasern aus Polypropylen, Polyestern, Polyäthylen und/oder §
Ψ Polyamiden.. Die der Hautoberfläche zugewandte Außen- |>
schicht kann an den Rändern mit einem hautfreundlichen f
selbsthaftenden Kleber versehen sein. Diese Ausführung f
ist in vielen Fällen, insbesondere bei kleineren Wunden, ¥
bevorzugt. Es ist jedoch ebenfalls möglich, die Kompresse !*
mit Heftpflaster oder Verbandmull zu befestigen. ^
Die Außenfläche aus synthetischem Material verhält sich ^
infolge ihrer glatten Oberfläche hautfreundlicher als |
die üblichen Mulltextilien. Durch Strukturieren der
synthetischen Oberfläche läßt sich zuzüglich eine
geringe Eingenhaftung auf der Haut und Wunde erzielen,
wobei die Saugeigenschaften unverändert beibehalten sind.

Durch Anbringung eines selbsthaftenden Klebers am Rand bzw.
an zwei Seiten der Kompresse wird eine sofortige endgültige
Plazierung über der wunde erzielt, so daß ein Verrutschen
und mühsames Plazieren nicht mehr notwendig ist.

Das Klebeband am Rande der Außenflächen kann so ausgestattet
werden, daß die Höhe bzw. Dicke der Kompresse voll abgedeckt wird, um jegliches Hervordringen don Faserbruchstücken zu
vermeiden.
Das Modell ist eine beispielhafte Ausführung der neuerungsgemäßen Kompresse, deren Außenränder mit einem

Claims (5)
1. Mehrlagige Wundkompresse, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß sie aus mindestens fünf Lagen bzw. Schichten |
besteht, wobei die beiden Außenschichten aus |
