Description
- Diese Anmeldung ist eine Continuation-In-Part der US 08/595,262, welche eine Continuation-In-Part der US 08/382,562 ist, wobei beide hierin durch Bezugnahme aufgenommen sind.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein starres, optisch transparentes wärme- und stoßfestes Polyurethan.
- Gegenwärtig ist das Standardmaterial, mit dem alle optisch transparenten Kunststoffmaterialien in Bezug auf die Stoßfestigkeit verglichen werden, Polycarbonat. Diese Materialien können durch Stoßfestigkeit und die Temperatur und den Druck charakterisiert werden, bei denen das Material der Verzerrung unterliegt. Die Wärmeverzerungstemperatur von Polycarbonat beträgt ungefähr 137.8°C (280°F) bei 18.2 bar (264 psi) Faserbelastung.
- Extrudierte Folie aus Polycarbonat mit einer Dicke 0.635 cm (0.25 Zoll) hat eine 0.22 Kaliber FSP (fragment simulating projectile; fragmentsimulierendes Projektil) V-50 Stoßbewertung von 281.9 in (925 Fuß)/sec. Das V-50 ist das Maß der Geschwindigkeit, bei der 50% der Projektile mit Kaliber 22, die durch eine 0.635 cm (0.25 Zoll) dicke Folie aus Polycarbonat geschossen werden, eine 20 mm dicke 2024 T6-Aluminiumfolie (die "Zeugenfolie") durchdringen, die sich 15,24 cm (6 Zoll) hinter der Rückseite der Polycarbonatfolie befindet.
- Das US-Patent Nr. 3,866,242, welches hierin durch Bezugnahme aufgenommen ist, offenbart ein Schutzschild aus Polyurethan-Polymer. Das Polyurethan wird hergestellt durch:
- (a) Reagieren entweder eines Polyetherglykols oder eines Polyesterglykols mit einem Molekulargewicht von ungefähr 700 bis 1000 mit Methylen-bis(cyklohexylisocyanat) in einem Äquivalenzverhältnis von ungefähr drei NCO zu jedem Hydroxyl, um ein Präpolymer zu bilden, und
- (b) Reagieren des Präpolymers mit einem aromatischen Aminhärtemittel mit einer Methylenbrücke zwischen zwei aromatischen Ringen, so wie 4,4'-Methylenbis(2-chloranilin), in einem Äquivalenzverhältnis von 0.90 bis 1.04 NH2/1.0 NCO.
- Das US-Patent Nr. 4,808,690, das hierin durch Bezugnahme aufgenommen ist, offenbart ein transparentes Polyurethanpolymer, hergestellt aus einem polyolgehärteten Präpolymer. Das Präpolymer ist aus einem Polyisocyanat und wenigstens einem multifunktionalen hydroxyhaltigen Zwischenprodukt hergestellt.
- Das US-Patent Nr. 4,208,507 offenbart ein flexibles Polyurethan-Harnstoffelastomer, hergestellt durch Reagieren: (A) eines Präpolymers, erhalten durch Reagieren einer essentiellen difunktionalen Polyhydroxyverbindung mit einem Molekulargewicht von 600 bis 10.000 und einem organischen Diisocyanat mit wenigstens einer NCO-Gruppe, die an eine cykloaliphatische Struktur gebunden ist, in Mengen, die ein Gesamtverhältnis OH : NCO von 1 : 1.2 bis 1 : 10 liefern, mit (B) 3,3', 5,5'-tetramethyl-4,4'-diamino-diphenylmethan, wobei A und B in einem Molverhältnis von ungefähr 1 : 0.8 bis 1 : 1.2 reagiert werden.
- Die WO 96/23827 offenbart ein optisch klares stoßfestes Polyurethan, welches außerordentlich hohe Wärmeverzerrungstemperaturen und einen exzellenten chemischen Widerstand zeigt.
- Die
US 4,927,901 offenbart härtbare Polyurethan-Gießsysteme, welche einen Aminhärter und ein Isocyanatharz aufweisen. - Das optisch klare Polyurethan dieser Erfindung kann hergestellt werden, indem zunächst ein Präpolymer erzeugt wird, indem eines oder mehrere Polyesterglykole, Polycaprolaktonglykole, Polyetherglykole oder Polycarbonatglykole mit einem mittlerem Molekulargewicht von ungefähr 400 bis ungefähr 2000 mit einem aliphatischen oder einem cykloaliphatischen Diisocyanat in einem Äquivalenzverhältnis von ungefähr 2.5 bis 4.0 NCO für jedes OH reagiert werden. Das Präpolymer wird dann mit einem aromatischen Diamin-Härtemittel, so wie Diethyltoluendiamin, in einem Äquivalenzverhältnis von ungefähr 0.85 bis 1.02 NH2/10 NCO, bevorzugt ungefähr 0.90 bis 1.0 NH2/1.0 NCO und weiter bevorzugt ungefähr 0.92 bis 0.96 NH2/1.0 NCO reagiert, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial eine Wärmeverzerrungstemperatur in dem Bereich von 98.8°C bis 162.8°C (210°F bis 325°F) bei 18.2 bar (264 psi) hat.
- Das Polyurethan der vorliegenden Erfindung ist insbesondere für Transparenzanwendungen zweckmäßig, die einen ausgezeichneten Stoßwiderstand gekoppelt mit hohen Wärmeverzerrungstemperaturen erfordern, so wie Gebäudeverglasungen, Schutzschilde, Flugzeugkanzeln, Gesichtsmasken, Visiere, opthalmische und Sonnenlinsen, schützende Augengläser und transparente Panzerung.
- Eine Aufgabe dieser Erfindung ist es, transparente Polyurethane mit exzellenter optischer Klarheit, ausgezeichneten ballistischen Eigenschaften, hohem chemischen Widerstand und hoher Wärmeverzerrungstemperatur verglichen mit Materialien des Standes der Technik zur Verfügung zu stellen.
- Eine weitere Aufgabe dieser Erfindung ist es, kostengünstigere transparente stoßfeste Polyurethane für kommerzielle Anwendungen zur Verfügung zu stellen.
- Noch eine andere Aufgabe dieser Erfindung ist es, die Produktionsbearbeitung von transparenten stoßfesten Polyurethanen zu verbessern, indem Reaktionszeit, Verarbeitungstemperatur und Formruhezeit verringert wird.
- Diese und weitere Aufgaben der vorliegenden Erfindung werden in weiteren Einzelheiten in der genauen Beschreibung der Erfindung, den Beispielen und den angefügten Ansprüchen beschrieben.
- Das Polyurethan der vorliegenden Erfindung wird aus cykloaliphatischen Diisocyanaten, OH-haltigen Zwischenprodukten und aromatischen Diamin-Härtemitteln hergestellt. Das folgende ist eine genaue Beschreibung jedes dieser Bestandteile:
- OH-haltige Zwischenprodukte
- Die OH-haltigen Zwischenprodukte, die eingesetzt werden können, um die Polyurethane dieser Erfindung herzustellen, umfassen Polyesterglykole, Polycaprolaktonglykole, Polyetherglykole und Polycarbonatglykole mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht von ungefähr 400 bis ungefähr 2000, bevorzugt ungefähr 400 bis ungefähr 1000.
- Polyesterglykole, die benutzt werden können, umfassen die Veresterungsprodukte einer oder mehrerer Dicarboxylsäuren mit vier bis zehn Kohlenstoffatomen, so wie Adipin-, Bernstein- und Sebazinsäure, mit einem oder mehreren Glykolen mit niedrigem Molekulargewicht, die zwei bis zehn Kohlenstoffatome haben, so wie Ethylenglykol, Propylenglykol, Diethylenglykol, 1,4-Butandiol, Neopentylglykol, 1,6-Hexandiol und 1,10-Dekandiol. Bevorzugte Polyesterglykole sind die Veresterungsprodukte von Adipinsäure mit Glykolen mit zwei bis zehn Kohlenstoffatomen.
- Polycaprolaktonglykole, die eingesetzt werden können, umfassen die Reaktionsprodukte von E-Caprolakton mit einem oder mehreren der Glykole mit niedrigem Molekulargewicht, die oben aufgeführt sind. Zusätzlich können zweckmäßige OH-haltige Zwischenprodukte Terester umfassen, die aus einem oder mehreren Dicarboxylsäuren mit niedrigem Molekulargewicht erzeugt worden sind, so wie Adipinsäure, und Caprolaktone mit einem oder mehreren der Glykole mit niedrigem Molekulargewicht, die oben aufgeführt sind.
- Die bevorzugten Polyesterglykole und Polycaprolaktonglykole können durch wohlbekannte Veresterungs- oder Transveresterungs-Prozeduren abgeleitet werden, wie es zum Beispiel in dem Artikel D. M. Young, F. Hostettler u. a., „Polyesters from Lactone (Polyester aus Lakton)", Union Carbide F-40, Seite 147 bekannt ist.
- Polyetherglykole, die eingesetzt werden können, umfassen Polytetramethylenetherglykol.
- Polycarbonatglykole, die eingesetzt werden können, umfassen aliphatische Polycarbonatglykole. Bevorzugte aliphatische Polycarbonatglykkole sind diejenigen, die von Enichem unter dem Handelsnamen Ravecarb 102 (Molekulargewicht = 1000) und Ravecarb 106 (Molekulargewicht = 2000) hergestellt und verkauft werden.
- Die am meisten bevorzugten OH-haltigen Zwischenprodukte sind: (a) Veresterungsprodukte von Adipinsäure mit einem oder mehreren Diolen, ausgewählt aus 1,4-Butandiol, 1,6-Hexandiol, Neopentylglykol und 1,10 Decandiol; (b) Reaktionsprodukte von E-Caprolakton mit einem oder mehreren Diolen, ausgewählt aus 1,4-Butandiol, 1,6-Hexandiol, Neopentylglykol und 1,10-Dekandiol; (c) Polytetramethylenglykol; (d) aliphatische Polycarbonatglykole und (e) Mischungen aus solchen OH-haltigen Zwischenprodukten.
- Diisocyanate
- Die cykloaliphatischen Diisocyanate, die eingesetzt werden können, um die Polyurethane dieser Erfindung herzustellen, umfassen Dicyclohexylmethandiisocyanat und bevorzugt isomere Mischungen daraus, die etwa 20 bis 100% des trans,trans-Isomeres von 4,4'-Methylenbis(cyclohexylisocyanat) enthalten, hiernach als „PICM" (Paraisocyanatocyclohexylmethan) bezeichnet. Andere Komponenten, die üblicherweise in der Mischung von Positions- und/oder Stereoisomeren des Dicyclohexylmethandiiso cyanats vorliegen, das in dieser Erfindung eingesetzt wird, sind die cis, trans und cis,cis-Isomere von PICM und Stereoisomere von 2,4'-Methylenbis(cyclohexylisocyanat). Diese, ebenso wie das trans,trans-PICM-Isomer, liegen in Mengen vor, die durch die Prozeduren kontrolliert werden können, die verwendet werden, um das Dicyclohexylmethandiisocyanat herzustellen. Bevorzugte Diisocyanate sind isomere PICM-Mischungen. Eine speziell bevorzugte Mischung enthält nicht weniger als ungefähr 20% des trans,trans-Isomers und nicht mehr als ungefähr 20% des cis-cis-Isomers von 4,4'-Methylenbis(cyclohexylisocyanat). Drei Isomere von 4,4'-Methylenbis(cyclohexylisocyanat) sind unten gezeigt:
- Das PICM, das bei dieser Erfindung eingesetzt wird, wird hergestellt, indem das entsprechende 4,4'-Methylenbis(cyclohexylamin) (PACM) durch Prozeduren phosgeniert wird, die im Stand der Technik wohlbekannt sind, wie sie beispielsweise in dem US-Patent Nr. 2 644 007, 2 680 127 und 2 908 703 offenbart sind, die hierin durch Bezugnahme aufgenommen sind. Die PACM-Isomermischungen, nach der Phosgenierung, liefern PICM in einer flüssigen Phase, einer teilweise flüssigen Phase oder einer festen Phase bei Zimmertemperatur. Die PACM-Isomermischungen können durch die Hydrierung von Methylendianilin und/oder durch fraktionierte Kristallisation von PACM-Isomermischungen bei Vorliegen von Wasser und Alkoholen, so wie Methanol und Ethanol erhalten werden.
- Zusätzliche cykloaliphatische Diisocyanate, die benutzt werden können, umfassen 3-Isocyanato-Methyl-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexylisocynat („IPDI") von Arco Chemical, welches die folgende Strukturformel hat und Meta-tetramethyl-xylendiisocyanat („TMXDI") von Cytex, Inc., welches die folgende Strukturformel hat:
- Diaminhärtemittel
- Die bevorzugten aromatischen Diaminhärtemittel zum Einsatz beim Herstellen der Polymrethane der Erfindung sind 2,4-Diamino-3,5-diethyltoluen, 2,6-Diamino-3,5-diethyl-toluen und Mischungen daraus (insgesamt „Diethyltoluendiamine" oder „DETDA"), welche von Albemarle Corporation unter dem Handelsnamen Ethacure 100 verkauft werden. DETDA ist eine Flüssigkeit bei Zimmertemperatur mit einer Viskosität von 156 cs bei 25°C. DETDA ist isomerisch, wobei der 2,4-Isomerbereich 75–80% beträgt, während der 2,6-Isomerbereich 18–24% beträgt. DETDA hat die folgende Struktur:
- Die farbstabilisierte Version von Ethacure 100, die unter dem Namen Ethacure 100S verfügbar ist, ist besonders bevorzugt.
- Zusätzliche Diaminhärtungsmittel zum Einsatz bei der vorliegenden Erfindung umfassen Verbindungen mit der folgenden chemischen Formel: wobei R1 und R2 jeweils unabhängig aus Methyl-, Ethyl-, Propyl- und Isopropylgruppen ausgewählt ist und R3 ist aus Wasserstoff und Chlor ausgewählt. Beispiele solcher zusätzlichen Diaminhärtemittel sind die folgenden Verbindungen, hergestellt von Lonza Ltd. (Basel, Schweiz):

- Die Pulyurethane dieser Erfindung können durch Quasi-Präpolymer- oder Vollpräpolymerverfahren hergestellt werden, beide sind in der Technik wohlbekannt. Das bevorzugte Verfahren zum Herstellen der Polyurethane gemäß der Erfindung ist wie folgt: das Diisocyanat wird zunächst mit dem OH-haltigen Zwischenprodukt in einem Äquivalenzverhältnis von ungefähr 2.5 bis 4.0 NCO/1.0 OH gemischt, bevorzugt ungefähr 3.0 NCO/1.0 OH, und dann bei 100° bis 110°C (212° bis 230°F) über eine Zeitdauer von 3 bis 5 Stunden reagiert, oder bei 126,7° bis 129.4°C (260° bis 265°F) über 5 bis 10 Minuten oder bei 135° bis 143.3°C (275° bis 290°F) über 3 bis 5 Minuten. Die Wärmequelle wird dann entfernt, das Präpolymer wird auf ungefähr 71.1°C (160°F) abgekühlt und kann sich dann bei der Temperatur über etwa 24 Stunden stabilisieren, bevor der Prozentanteil NCO in dem Präpolymer bestimmt wird. Zusätzliches Diisocyanat kann dann hinzugefügt werden, um ein exaktes Äquivalentgewicht zu erreichen. Das Präpolymer wird dann bei ungefähr 71.1°C bis 82.2°C (160°F bis 180°F) mit dem aromatischen Diaminhärtungsmittel in einem Äquivalenzverhältnis von ungefähr 0.85 bis 1.02 NH2/1.0 NCO, bevorzugt ungefähr 0.90 bis 1.0 NH2/1.0 NCO und weiter bevorzugt ungefähr 0.92 bis 0.96 NH2/1.0 NCO reagiert. Das Polymer wird dann bei 110 bis 135°C (230–275°F) über 4 bis 24 Stunden gehärtet. Die Aushärtezeit ist bei geringeren Temperaturen länger und bei höheren Temperaturen kürzer.
- Die Polyurethanpolymere dieser Erfindung können gegossen oder druckgeformt werden. Gießen ist das bevorzugte Verfahren, da es ein Polyurethanpolymer mit optimalen optischen Eigenschaften erzeugt.
- Die Mischung aus Präpolymer und Härtemittel wird vor dein Aushärten in eine Form gegossen. Das Polyurethanmaterial gemäß der Erfindung kann auch teilweise ausgehärtet werden, indem eine geeignete Aushärtezeit und Temperatur ausgewählt wird und dann aus den Gießformen herausgenommen und in die gewünschte Form geformt wird. Wenn dieser Prozeß eingesetzt wird, kann das Polyurethanmaterial in eine einfache oder komplexe Form geformt und dann anschließend voll ausgehärtet werden.
- Ein Triol kann zu dem Präpolymer in einer Menge hinzugefügt werden, die ausreichend ist, um etwa 1% Quervernetzung zu erzeugen, basierend auf Äquivalenten der Reaktionsteilnehmer, zum Beispiel 4 bis 8 Gew.-% basierend auf den gesamten Reaktionsteilnehmern. Triole, die bei der vorliegenden Erfindung einsetzbar sind, umfassen Trimethylolethan und Trimethylolpropan. Das Hinzufügen eines Triols zu dem Präpolymer erhöht die Wärmeverzerrungstemperatur und verbessen in einigen Fällen die ballistischen Eigenschaften des ausgehärteten Polyurethans.
- Verschiedene Antioxidanten, Ultraviolett-Stabilisatoren, Farbblocker, optische Aufheller und Antihaftmittel können beim Herstellen der Polyurethane dieser Erfindung benutzt werden. Zum Beispiel können eine oder mehrere Antioxidanten zu dem Präpolymer in einer Menge bis zu 5 Gew.-% basierend auf den gesamten Reaktionsteilnehmern hinzugefügt werden. Antioxidaten, die bei der vorliegenden Erfindung einsetzbar sind, umfassen diejenigen des Typs vom multifunktional gehemmten Phenol. Ein Beispiel eines Antioxidaten vom Typ eines multifunktional gehemmten Phenols ist Irganox 1010, erhältlich bei Ciba Geigy, welches die folgende chemische Formel hat:
- Ein UV-Stabilisator kann auch zu dem Präpolymer hinzugefügt werden, entweder vor oder während des Härteschrittes, in einer Menge bis zu ungefähr 5%, bevorzugt ungefähr 0.5 bis 4 Gew.-%, basierend auf den gesamten Reaktionsteilnehmern. UV-Stabilisatoren, die bei der vorliegenden Erfindung einsetzbar sind, umfassen Benzotriazole. Beispiele von Benzotriazol-UV-Stabilisatoren umfassen Cyasorb 5411 und Tinuvin 328. Cyasorb 5411, erhältlich bei American Cyanamid, hat die folgende chemische Formel:
- Tinovin 328, erhältlich bei Ciba Geigy, hat die folgende chemische Formel:
- Ein weiterer UV-Stabilisator, der benutzt werden kann, ist Cyasorb 3604, erhältlich bei American Cynamid, der die folgende chemische Formel hat:
- Zusätzlich zu den Benzotriazolen kann ein gehemmter Amin-Lichtstabilisator hinzugefügt werden, um weiter den UV-Schutz zu verbessern. Ein Beispiel eines gehemmten Amin-Lichtstabilisators ist Tinovin 765, erhältlich bei Ciba Geigy, der die folgende chemische Formel hat:
- BEISPIELE I–VII
- Ein cykloaliphatisches Diisocyanat wird mit einem oder mehreren Polyesterglykolen, Polycaprolaktonglykolen, Polyetherglykolen oder Polycarbonatglykolen gemischt. Die Reaktionspartner werden dann auf 135°C bis 143.3°C (275°F bis 290°F) unter trockenem Stickstoff erhitzt, auf der Temperatur für 3 bis 5 Minuten gehalten, so daß sie reagieren können, um ein Präpolymer zu bilden. Das Präpolymer wird auf 104.4° bis 121.1°C (220° bis 250°F) abgekühlt, und der UV-Stabilisator, Antioxidant, Farbblocker und/oder optischer Aufheller werden hinzugefügt. Das Präpolymer wird weiter auf 76.7° bis 93.3°C (170° bis 200°F) abgekühlt und dann evakuiert und über 24 Stunden bei 71.1°C (160°F) aufbewahrt. Der Prozentgehalt NCO wird dann bestimmt.
- Das Präpolymer wird dann bei ungefähr 71.1°C bis 82.2°C (160°F bis 180°F) mit einem aromatischen Diaminhärtemittel in einem Äquivalenzverhältnis von 0.85 bis 1.02 NH2 zu 1.0 NCO reagiert. Das Polymer wird dann bei 110° bis 135°C (230° bis 275°F) über 4 bis 24 Stunden ausgehärtet.
- Die Reaktionspartner, die in den Beispielen eingesetzt werden, sind in Tabelle I hiernach beschrieben:
- Die Mengen jedes Reaktionspartners, die bei jedem Beispiel benutzt werden, sind in Tabelle II unten aufgeführt:
- Die sich ergebenden Materialien werden auf ihre optischen Eigenschaften, Härte, Lösungsmittelwiderstand, Wärmeverzerrung und ballistische Eigenschaften hin bewertet.
- Die Polyurethanmaterialien der Beispiel I–IV haben alle ausgezeichnete optische Eigenschaften mit Trübung so gering wie 0.3% und Lichtdurchlässigkeit so hoch wie 95% bei einer Dicke von 0.20 bis 0.635 cm (0.080 bis 0.250 Zoll). Die Härte Shore D der Beispiele I–IV liegt im Bereich von 79 bis 82. Für die Beispiel V–VIII ist die Härte Shore D 77 bis 82.
- Die Polyurethanmaterialien der Beispiel I, II und III haben einen Belastungsrißwiderstand von > 482.8 bar (700 Pfund pro Quadratzoll), wenn unter Verwendung von Isopropanol gemessen wird.
- Die V-50-Einschätzung der Beispiele I–IV wurde bewertet, indem eine 0.635 cm (0.25 Zoll) dicke Folie und ein Fragment simulierendes Projektil vom Kaliber 0.22 benutzt wurden. Nach mehreren Tests beträgt die mittlere V-50 Bewertung ungefähr 368.8 in (1210 Fuß) pro Sekunde.
- Bei den Beispielen I–III liegt die Wärmeverzerrungstemperatur einer 0.635 cm (0.25 Zoll) dicken Probe bei 18.2 bar (264 psi) Faserbelastung im Bereich von 143.3°C bis 151.7°C (290°F bis 305°F), und eine ähnliche Probe des Materials des Beispiels IV hat eine Wärmeverzerrungstemperatur von 132.2°C bis 137.8°C (270°F bis 280°F) bei 18.2 bar (264 psi) Faserbelastung.
- Die Wärmeverzerrungstemperaturen und ballistischen Eigenschaften für 0.635 cm (0.25 Zoll) dicke Proben nach den Formulierungen der Beispiele V–VIII sind in der folgenden Tabelle angegeben:
- Die voranstehende Offenbarung von Beispielen und anderen Ausführungsformen der vorliegenden Erfindung ist für die Zwecke der Veranschaulichung und Beschreibung vorgestellt worden. Sie ist nicht gedacht, daß sie erschöpfend ist oder die Erfindung auf die genauen Beispiele und Ausführungsformen, wie sie offenbart sind, zu beschränken. Viele Abänderungen und Modifikationen der Beispiele und Ausführungsformen, die hierin beschrieben sind, werden dem gewöhnlichen Fachmann im Lichte der obigen Offenbarung offensichtlich werden. Der Umfang der Erfindung soll nur durch die hier angehängten Ansprüche und durch Äquivalente definiert sein.
Claims (44)
- Ein transparentes, hochhartes, stoßfestes Polyurethanmaterial, welches das Reaktionsprodukt aus: (a) einem Polyurethan-Präpolymer, hergestellt durch Reaktion eines aliphatischen oder zykloaliphatischen Diisozyanats mit wenigstens einem OH-haltigen Zwischenprodukt, das ein mittleres Molekulargewicht von ungefähr 400 bis ungefähr 2000 hat, aufweist, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Polyesterglykolen, Polycaprolaktonglykolen, Polyetherglykolen, Polycarbonatglykolen und Mischen daraus in einem Äquivalenzverhältnis von ungefähr 2.5 bis 4.0 NCO/1.0 OH; und (b) wenigstens einem ersten aromatischen diaminhärtenden Mittel, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus 2,4-Diamino-3,5-Diethyltoluen, 2,6-Diamino-3,5-Diethyltoluen und Mischungen daraus in einem Äquivalenzverhältnis von 0.85 bis 1.02 NH2/1.0 NCO, aufweist, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial eine Wärmeverzerrungstemperatur in dem Bereich von 98.9°C bis 162.8°C (210°F bis 325°F) bei 18.2 bar (264 psi) hat.
- Polyurethan nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial das Reaktionsprodukt aus dem Polyurethan-Präpolymer, dem wenigstens einen ersten aromatischen Diamin-Härtungsmittel und wenigstens einem zweiten Diamin-Härtungsmittel ist, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Verbindungen der Formel: wobei R1 und R2 jeweils unabhängig aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Methyl-, Ethyl-, Propyl- und Isopropylgruppen ausgewählt ist und R3 aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Wasserstoff und Chlor ausgewählt ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Diisozyanat aus der Gruppe bestehend aus 4,4'-Methylenbi(zyklohexylisozyanat), 2-Isocanato-Methyl-3,5,5-Trimethylzyklohexyl-Isozyanat, Meta-Tetramethylxylen-Diisozyanat und Mischungen daraus ausgewählt ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial eine Wärmeverzerrungstemperatur von wenigstens 121.1°C (250°F) bei 18.2 bar (264 psi) hat.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial eine Wärmeverzerrungstemperatur von wenigstens 148.9°C (3000°F) bei 18.2 bar (264 psi) hat.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial optisch klar ist, mit einer Lichtdurchlässigkeit von wenigstens ungefähr 80% bei einer Dicke von 0.20 bis 0635 cm (0.08 bis 0.25 Zoll).
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, wobei eine 0.25 Zoll dicke Lage des Polyurethanmaterials eine V-50 0.22 Kaliber-FSP-Geschwindigkeit von wenigstens 335.3 m (1100 Fuß) pro Sekunde hat.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, bei dem das Diamin-Härtungsmittel mit dem Präpolymer in einem Äquivalenzverhältnis von ungefähr 0.90 bis 1.0 NH2/1.0 NCO reagiert wird.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, wobei das das mittlere Molekulargewicht des OH-haltigen Zwischenproduktes von ungefähr 400 bis ungefähr 1000 ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, bei dem das OH-haltige Zwischenprodukt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (a) Esterprodukte der adipinischen Säure mit einem oder mehreren Diolen, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus 1,4-Butandiol, 1,6-Hexandiol, Neopentyl-Glykol und 1,10-Dekandiol; (b) Reaktionsprodukten von E- Kaprolakton mit einem oder mehreren Diolen, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus 1,4-Butandiol, 1,6-Hexandiol, Neopentyl-Glykol und 1,10-Dekandiol; (c) Polytetraethylenglykol; (d) aliphatischen Polykarbonatglykolen; und (e) Mischungen aus solchen OH-haltigen Zwischenprodukten ausgewählt ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, bei dem das zylcloaliphatische Diisozyanat eine isomere Mischung aus 4,4'-Methylenbi(zyklohexyl-Isozyanat) ist, welche wenigstens 20% des Trans,Trans-Isomeres von 4,4'-Methylenbi(zyklohxyl-Isozyanat) aufweist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, wobei das das Präpolymer weiter einen UV-Stabilisator aufweist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 12, bei dem der UV-Stabilisator aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Benzotriazolen, verhinderten Amin-Lichtstabilisatoren und Mischungen daraus ausgewählt ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, bei dem das Präpolymer weiter ein Antioxidationsmittel aufweist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 14, bei dem das Antooxidationssmittel ein multifunktionales gehemmtes Phenol ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial einen Belastungs-Riß-Widerstand von > 482.8 bar (7000 Pfund pro Quadratzoll) hat, wenn unter Verwendung von Isopropanol gemessen wird.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, bei dem das Präpolymer weiter ein Triol in einer Menge aufweist, die ausreichend ist, um 1% Quervernetzung zu erzeugen, basierend auf Äquivalenten der Reaktionspartner.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 17, bei der das Triol aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Trimethyloletan, Trimethylolpropan und Mischungen daraus ausgewählt ist.
- Kontaktlinse, hergestellt aus dem Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1.
- Kontaktlinse nach Anspruch 19, wobei die Linse aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Sonnengläsern, ophthalmischen Linsen und Schutzlinsen ausgewählt ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, bei dem das Diamin-Härtungsmittel farbstabilisiert ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, bei dem das Polyurethanmaterial optisch hell ist, mit einer Lichtdurchlässigkeit von wenigstens 95% bei einer Dicke von 0.20 bis 0.635 cm (0.08 bis 0.25 Zoll).
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial optisch hell ist, mit einer Trübung, die so gering ist wie 0.3%, bei einer Dicke von 0.20 bis 0.635 cm (0.08 bis 0.25 Zoll).
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial eine Shore-D-Härte von wenigstens 77 hat.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial eine Shore-D-Härte von wenigstens 79 hat.
- Transpartentes, hochhartes, stoßfestes Polyurethanmaterial, welches das Reaktionsprodukt aus (a) einem Polyurethan-Präpolymer, hergestellt durch Reaktion eines zykloaliphatischen Diisozyanates, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus 4,4'-Methylenbi-(Zyklohexyl-Isozyanat), 3-Isozyanato-Methyl-3,5,5-Trimethylzyklohexyl-Isozyanat, Metratetramethylxylen-Diisozyanat und Mischungen daraus, mit wenigstens einem OH-haltigen Zwischenprodukt, welches eines mittleres Molekulargewicht von ungefähr 400 bis ungefähr 2000 hat, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus: (a) einem Esterprodukt aus Adipinsäure mit einem oder mehreren Diolen, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus 1,4-Butandiol, 1,6-Hexandiol, Neopentyl-Glykol und 1,10-Dekandiol; (b) Reaktionsprodukten von E-Kaprolakton mit einem oder mehreren Diolen, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus 1,4-Butandiol, 1,6-Hexandiol, Neopentyl-Glykol und 1,10-Dekandiol; (c) Polytetramethylenglykol; (d) aliphatischen Polykarbonatglykolen; und (e) Mischungen aus solchen OH-haltigen Zwischenprodukten in einem Äquivalenzverhältnis von ungefähr 2.5 bis 4.0 NOC/1.0 OH; und (b) wenigstens ein Diamin-Härtungsmittel, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus 2,4-Diamino-3,5-Diethyltoluen, 2,6-Diamino-3,5-Diethyltoluen und Mischungen daraus, in einem Äquivalenzverhältnis von ungefähr 0.95 bis 1.02 NH2/1.0 NCO, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial eine Wärmeverzerrungstemperatur von wenigstens 148.9°C (300°F) bei 18.2 bar (264 psi) hat.
- Brillenlinse, hergestellt aus dem Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 26.
- Brillenlinse nach Anspruch 27, wobei die Linse aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Sonnenlinsen, ophthalmischen Linsen und Schutzlinsen ausgewählt ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 26, bei dem das Diamin-Härtungsmittel farbstabilisiert ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 26, bei dem das Polyurethanmaterial optisch klar ist, mit einem Lichtdurchlässigkeitsvermögen von wenigstens ungefähr 80% bei einer Dicke 0.20 bis 0.635 cm (0.08 bis 0.25 Zoll).
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 26, bei dem eine 0.25 Zoll dicke Lage des Polyurethanmaterials eine V-50 0.22 Kaliber-FSP-Geschwindigkeit von wenigstens 335.3 cm (1100 Fuß) pro Sekunde hat.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 26, bei dem das mittlere Molekulargewicht des OH-haltigen Zwischenproduktes von ungefähr 400 bis ungefähr 1000 ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 26, bei dem das Diisozyanat eine isomere Mischung aus 4,4'-Methylen-bis-(zyklohexylisozyanat) ist, welches wenigstens 20% des Trans,trans-Isomeres von 4,4'-Methylen-bis-(zyklohexylisozyanat) aufweist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 26, bei dem das Präpolymer weiter einen UV-Stabilisator aufweist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 34, bei dem der UV-Stabilisator aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Benzotriazolen, gehemmten Amin-Lichtstabilisatoren und Mischungen daraus ausgewählt ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 26, bei dem das Präpolymer weiter ein Antioxidationsmittel aufweist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 36, bei dem das Antioxidationsmittel ein multifunktionales gehemmtes Phenol ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 26, bei dem das Polyurethanmaterial einen Stress-Riss-Widerstand von > 482.8 bar (7000 Pfund pro Quadratzoll) aufweist, wenn unter Verwendung von Isopropanol gemessen wird.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 26, bei dem das Präpolymer weiter ein Triol in einer Menge aufweist, die ausreichend ist, 1% Quervernetzung zu erzeugen, basierend auf Äquivalenten der Reaktionspartner.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 39, bei dem das Triol aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Trimethylolethan, Trimethylolpropan und Mischungen daraus ausgewählt ist.
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 26, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial optisch klar ist, mit einem Lichtdurchlässigkeitsvermögen von wenigstens 95% bei einer Dicke von 0.20 bis 0,635 cm (0.08 bis 0.25 Zoll).
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 26, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial optisch klar ist, mit einer Trübung so gering wie 0.3% bei einer Dicke von 0.20 bis 0,635 cm (0.08 bis 0.25 Zoll). ????
- Polyurethanmaterial nach Anspruch 26, wobei das Polyurethanmaterial eine Shore-D-Härte von wenigstens 77 hat.
