Description
- Zahnpasten Es wurde gefunden, daß man Zahnpasten vorteilhaft unter Mitverwendung von wasserlöslichen Salzen von polymeren Carbonsäuren, insbesondere Alkalisalzen, z. B. Natriumsalzen und Ammoniumsalzen, herstellen kann.
- Als polymere Carbonsäuren kommen vorzugsweise Polymerisate der Acrylsäure und sirup, Traganth u. dgl., sauerstoffabgebende Mittel, schäumende Mittel, z.B. Seifen, usw.
- Viele dieser Zusätze, insbesondere viscoee Stoffe, werden indessen durch die erfindungsgemäßen Zusätze ganz oder teilweise entbehrlich gemacht, da dieselben Lösungen höherer Viscosität bilden. ihrer Homologen, insbesondere der Methacrylsäure, in Betracht. Auch Mischpolymerisate sind brauchbar, z.B. auch von solchen Carbonsäuren, die, wie z. B. die Maleinsäure, für sich nicht polymerisierbar sind, zusammen mit polymerisierbaren Garbonsäuren oder anderen polymerisierbaren Verbindungen. Die Lösungen der polynDeren ,Salze können schwach alkalisch, aber auch neutral oder ganz schwach sauer angewendet werden, je nach der. Art der herzustellenden Pasten.
- Beispiele (Unter Teilen sind Gewiclitsteile zu verstehen.) Man stellt Zahnpasten her aus: 1. 60 Teilen einer 5- bis 10%igen wäßrigen Lösung von polyacrylsauren Natrium (pH 7,5 bis 8), 15 - Glycerin, 9 - Calciumcarbonat, 8 Magnesiumcarbonat, 8 - Kieselgur und Die erfindungsgemäß hergestellten Fast zeichnen sich durch außerordentlich guten Verband aus. Schon verhältnismäßig geringe Mengen der erfindungsgemäßen Zusätze ge nügen zur Hervorbringung der Wirkung.
- Die Pasten können übliche Zusätze erhalten, 5 z. B. Geruchsstoff, ferner Glycerin, Stärke-Geruschstoff nach Belieben.
- An Stelle des polyacrylsauren Natriums können andere Polymerisate, z. B. ein Mischpolymerisat aus 80 Teilen methacrylsaurem Natrium und 20 Teilen Acrylsäurenitril, Verwendung finden.
- 2. Polyacrylsäuremethylester wurde mit 60% der Theorie an Natronlauge verseift.
- Das entsprechende Produkt kann als Mischpolymerisat aus 600/o acrylsauren Natrium und 40% Acrylsäuremethylester aufgefaßt werden.
- 12 Teile der 10%igen wäßrigen Lösungdes Mischpolymerisats wurden durch Zusatz von 1 Teil 80%iger Milchsäure neutral eingestellt und mit 14Teile geschlämmtem Calciumcarbonat, 12 - leichtem Magnesiumcarbonat, 11 - geschlämmter Kiselgur, 14 - Glycerin, 7 - Seife (Fettgehalt 50%), 3 - Pfefferminzkomposition, 26 - Wasser, 0,015 - Saccharin und 0,003 - Rhodamin B zu einer Paste verarbeitet.
- 3. 14 Teile einer 10%igen wäßrigen Lösung seines mit 65% der Theorie an Natronlauge verseiften Polyacrylsöurenitrils, welches sich wie ein Mischpolymerisat aus Acrylsäurenitril, Acrylsäureamid und acrylsaurem Natrium verhält, wurde mit I Teil 80%iger Milchsäure neutralisiert und mit 17 Teilen ges chlämmtem Calciumcarb onat, 14 - leichtem Magnesiumcarbonat, 14 - geschlämmter Kiselgur, 17 - Glycerin, 8 - Seife (Fettgehalt 50%), 3 - Pfefferminzkomposition, 12 - Wasser, 0,02 - Saccharin und 0,004 - Rhodamin B zu einer Paste verarbeitet.
- 4. 14 Teile einer 10%igen wäßrigen Lösung von polymethacrylsaurem Ammonium wurden mit 1 Teil 80%igen Milchsäure neutralisiert und mit 16 Teilen geschlämmtem Calciumcarbonat, 14 - leichtem Magnesiumcarbonat, 14 - geschlämmter Kieselgur, 16 - Glycerin, 8 - Seife (Fettgehalt 50%), 3 - Pfeffermizkomposition, 14 - Wasser, 0,02 - Saccharin und 0,004 - Rhodamin B zu einer Zahnpaste verarbeitet.
- 5. Maleinsäureanhydrid und Styrol werden in molekularem Verhältnis unter Zugabe von 0,1 Gewichtsprozent Benzoylperoxyd unter Erwärmen auf 100°C polymerisiert. 10 Teile des erhaltenen Mischpolymerisats wurden mit go Teilen Wasser, welches eine zur Verseifung der Säureanhydrigruppen ausreichende Menge Alkali enthielt, in Lösung gebracht. Die Lösung wurde durch Zugabe einer Spur 80%iger Milchsäure neutral eingestellt.
- 27 Teile der wäßrigen Lösung des Mischpolymerisats wurden mit 4 Teilen Wasser, 12 - Glycerin, 7,4 - Natronseife (Fettgehalt 50%), 3,7 - Pfefferminzöl, 0,018 - Saccharin und 46 - geschlämmtem Calciumcarbonat zu einer Zahnpaste verarbeitet.
- Sämtliche Pasten zeichnen sich durch einen besonders guten Verband aus.

- PATENTANSPRUCH: Zahnpasten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie wasserlösliche Salze von polymeren Carbonsäuren enthalten.
