Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft N'-substituierte N,N'-Diacylhydrazine, welche als Insektizide verwendbar sind, diese Verbindungen enthaltende Zusammensetzungen und Verfahren zu deren Verwendung.
- Die Suche nach Verbindungen, welche eine ausgezeichnete insektizide Aktivität verbunden mit niedriger unerwünschter Toxizität aufweisen, setzt sich wegen Faktoren, wie dem Wunsch nach Verbindungen, welche höhere Aktivität mit geringerer unerwünschter Auswirkung auf die Umwelt, niedrigere Produktions- und Vermarktungskosten und höhere Wirksamkeit gegen Insekten, welche gegenüber vielen bekannten Insektiziden resistent sind oder geworden sind, kontinuierlich fort.
- Es besteht ein kontinuierlicher Bedarf, insektizide Verbindungen mit verbesserten, wie oben beschriebenen insektiziden Eigenschaften zu entwickeln. Die vorliegende Erfindung stellt verbesserte N'-substituierte N,N'-Diacylhydrazine bereit, welche unerwarteterweise eine verstärkter, höherer Wirkung aufweisen. Die höhere Wirkung kann einen wirtschaftlichen und Umwelt-Vorteil bei der Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen bereitstellen.
- In Chem. Abs., 118, Nr. 22223 g, (1993), EP-A-0 946 342 und GB-A-2 231 268 werden insektizide N'-substituierte N,N'-Diacylhydrazine beschrieben. Jedoch wurden in diesen Veröffentlichungen weder die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen beschrieben, noch wurde die verstärkte höhere Aktivität dieser Verbindungen vorgeschlagen.
- Gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung werden insektizide Verbindungen mit der Formel N-(2-Ra-3-Rb-4-Rh-benzoyl)-N'-(2-Rc-3-Rd-4-Re-5-Rf-benzoyl)-N'Rg-hydrazin bereitgestellt, welche strukturell wie folgt dargestellt werden können:
- wobei Ra (C&sub1;-C&sub6;)-Alkyl ist, Rb (C1-C&sub4;)-Alkoxy ist, RC Wasserstoff ist, Rd und Rf unabhängig jeweils aus Wasserstoff, Brom, Chlor, Fluor, (C&sub1;-C&sub6;)-Alkyl, (C&sub1;-C&sub4;)- Alkoxy und (C1-C&sub4;)-Alkoxy-(C&sub1;-C&sub3;)-alkyl ausgewählt sind, Re Wasserstoff ist, Rg ein (C&sub4;-C&sub6;)-Alkyl ist und Rh Wasserstoff ist.
- Ferner werden Zusammensetzungen bereitgestellt, welche einen landwirtschaftlich verträglichen bzw. annehmbaren Träger und eine insektizidisch wirksame Menge solcher Verbindungen enthalten, Zusammensetzungen, welche eine insektizidisch wirksame Menge solcher Verbindungen und ein grenzflächenaktives Mittel enthalten, und Methoden zur Verwendung solcher Verbindungen und Zusammensetzungen, beispeilsweise Verfahren zum Kontrollieren von Insekten, wie Insekten der Gattungen Lepidoptera und Homoptera, welche das Inkontaktbringen der Insekten mit einer Verbindung oder einer Zusammensetzung gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung umfaßt. Diese Verbindungen und Zusammensetzungen gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung sind gegen Insekten der Gattung Lepidoptera insektizid wirksam. Einige bestimmte dieser Verbindungen und Zusammensetzungen sind durch ihre insektizide Aktivität gegen Insekten beider der Gattungen Lepidoptera und Homoptera unterscheidbar.
- Wie hierin verwendet:
- "Halo" ist Chlor, Fluor, Brom oder Jod,
- "(C&sub1;-C&sub6;)-Alkyl" ist ein geradkettiges oder verzweigtes Alkyl, wie Methyl, Ethyl, n-Propyl, Isopropyl, n-Butyl, Isobutyl, sec-Butyl, tert-Butyl, n-Amyl, Isoamyl, Neopentyl, n-Hexyl, Isohexyl, Methylneopentyl (3,3-Dimethyl-2-butyl) und dergleichen.
- "(C1-C&sub4;)-Alkoxy" ist ein geradkettiges oder verzweigtes Alkoxy, gegebenenfalls mit Halo substituiert, wie Methoxy, Ethoxy, n-Propoxy, Isopropoxy, n-Butoxy, Isobutoxy, Trifluormethoxy, Difluormethoxy und dergleichen und "(C&sub1;-C&sub4;)-Alkoxy-(C&sub1;-C&sub3;)-alkyl" ist ein Alkoxyalkyl, wie Methoxymethyl, Ethoxymethyl, 2-Methoxyethyl, 2-Ethoxyethyl und dergleichen.
- Gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung werden insektizide Verbindungen mit der Formel N-(2-Ra-3-Rb-4-Rh-benzoyl)-N'-(2-Rc-3-Rd-4-Re-5-Rf- benzoyl)-N'-Rg-hydrazin bereitgestellt, wobei Ra (C&sub1;-C&sub3;)-Alkyl ist, Rb (C&sub1;-C&sub4;)- Alkoxy ist, Rc Wasserstoff ist, Rd und Rf unabhängig jeweils aus Wasserstoff, Brom, Chlor, Fluor, (C&sub1;-C&sub3;)-Alkyl, (0&sub1;-C&sub4;)-Alkoxy und (C&sub1;-C&sub2;)-Alkoxy (C&sub1;-C&sub2;)-Alkyl ausgewählt sind, Re Wasserstoff ist, Rg (C&sub4;-C&sub6;)-Alkyl ist und Rh Wasserstoff ist.
- In einer mehr bevorzugten Ausführungsform dieser Erfindung werden insektizide Verbindungen mit der Formel N-(2-Ra-3-Rb-4-Rh-benzoyl)-N'(2-Rc-3-Rd-4-Re-5-Rf- benzoyl)-N'-Rg-hydrazin bereitgestellt, wobei Ra Methyl oder Ethyl ist, Rb Methoxy oder Ethoxy ist, Rd und Rf unabhängig jeweils aus Wasserstoff, Brom, Chlor, Fluor, Methyl, Methoxy und Methoxymethyl ausgewählt sind, Rc und Re beide Wasserstoff sind, und Rg tert-Butyl, Neopentyl oder Methylneopentyl ist.
- In einer noch mehr bevorzugten Ausführungsform dieser Erfindung, werden insektizideVerbindungen mitderFormel N-(2-Ra-3-Rb-4-Rh-benzoyl)-N'-(2-Rc-3-Rd- 4-Re-5-Rf-benzoyl)-N'-Rg-hydrazin bereitgestellt, wobei Ra Methyl oder Ethyl ist, Rb Methoxy oder Ethoxy ist, Rd und Rf unabhängig jeweils aus Wasserstoff, Brom, Chlor, Fluor, Methyl und Methoxy ausgewählt sind, Rg tert-Butyl ist und Rc, Re und Rh Wasserstoff sind.
- Wegen ihrer höheren Aktivität bevorzugte Verbindungen schließen ein:
- N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3-chlor-5-methylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,

- N-(2-Ethyl-3-methoxybenzoyl)-N'-(3,5-dimethylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
- N-(2-Ethyl-3-methoxybenzoyl)-N'-(3-Chlor-5-methylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
- N-(2-Ethyl-3-methoxybenzoyl)-N'-(3-Chlor-5-methoxybenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
- N-(2-Ethyl-3-methoxybenzoyl)-N'-(3-methylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin und
- N-(2-Ethyl-3-methoxybenzoyl)-N'-(3,5-dimethylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin.
- Viele der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen und die entsprechenden Zwischenverbindungen bzw. Intermediate können durch Methoden hergestellt werden, welche bekannten Methoden zur Herstellung von N'-substituierten N,N'-Diacylhydrazinen ähnlich sind. Gewöhnliche Fachleute werden in der Lage sein, solche Verfahren nach Kenntnis des hierin Offenbarten anzuwenden oder zu modifizieren, um viele der Funktionalitäten Rc, Rd, Re und Rf in den Intermemediaten und den erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen anzupassen.
- Die landwirtschaftlich verträglichen Salze der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen können durch Anwendung von im Stand der Technik bekannten Salzbildungsverfahren, welche sich auf als Insektizide verwendete N'-substituierte N,N'- Diacylhydrazine beziehen, synthetisiert werden.
- Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen weisen unerwartet ausgezeichnete Ergebnisse bei ihrer Verwendung als Insektizide auf. Fachleute werden in der Lage sein, die Aktivität einer gegebenen Verbindung gegen ein gegebenes Insekt und die benötigte Dosis zu bestimmen, um unerwartet gute insektizide Wirkungen zu erhalten. Die exakte Dosis für eine gegebene Situation kann routinemäßig bestimmt werden, die Zusammensetzungen und Formulierungen für solche Verwendungen und die gewünschten zusätzlichen Komponenten (wie landwirtschaftlich verträgliche Träger, Verdünnungsmittel, Streckungsmittel und andere gewöhnliche, in insektiziden Zusammensetzungen verwendete Additive) können auf bekannte Weisen bestimmt werden.
- Die folgenden Beispiele werden Zur Veranschaulichung bevorzugter Ausführungsformen der vorliegenden Erfindung dargestellt. In den Beispielen wird die Herstellung von 3-Alkoxy-2-alkylbenzoesäuren, Zwischenverbindungen bzw. Intermediaten und repräsentativen Verbindungen gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung veranschaulicht.
- 3-Amino-2-methylbenzoesäure, 140,3 Gramm (g), 0,93 mol, welche in vier Portionen umgesetzt wird, in 5,7 Masse-Äquivalenten Methanol wurde mit 1,5 Mol-Äquivalenten konzentrierter Schwefelsäure behandelt. Die Mischung wurde auf 55ºC erwärmt und 1,05 Mol-Äquivalente Natriumnitrit, welches in der doppelten Masse Wasser gelöst war, wurde der Reaktion über 30 bis 45 Minuten unter Beibehaltung der Temperatur zwischen 55 und 65ºC zugeführt bzw. beschickt. Dann wurden 4,5 Mol-Äquivalente 25%-iges wäßriges Natriumhydroxid über eine halbe Stunde zugegeben, gefolgt von einer halbstündigen Beschickung von 2 Mol-Äquivalenten Dimethylsulfat bei 50 bis 60ºC. Nach einer halben Stunde wurde die Charge durch Gaschromatography (GC) überprüft. Zusätzliches Natriumhydroxid und Dimethylsulfat wurden in Portionen bis zum Erhalt eines vollständigen Umsatzes zugegeben. Das verbleibende Methanol wurde durch Anlegen eines Vakuums entfernt und der Rückstand in eine Ethylacetat-lösliche Phase und eine Phase, welche in mit Schwefelsäure angesäuertem Wasser löslich war, aufgetrennt. Das Ethylacetat wurde im Vakuum entfernt. Die in 350 g warmen Methanol vereinigten Rückstände (152,8 g) wurden in eine Mischung aus 278 g konzentrierter Schwefelsäure und einem Liter (L) Wasser geschüttet. Der resultierende Niederschlag wurde durch Filtration abgetrennt, mit Wasser gewaschen und im Vakuum getrocknet, um 135,8 g eines Materials zu ergeben, welches, wie mit GC bestimmt, 96% rein war.
- Eine Mischung, welche 3,5-Dimethylchlorbenzol (25 g, 180 mmol), Cobalt(11)- acetattetrahydrat (1,1 g, 4, 5 mmol) und Natriumbromid (0,46 g, 4,5 mmol) in 50 Milliliter (ml) Essigsäure enthielt, wurde auf 85ºC erhitzt, während Luft eingeblasen wurde. Nach 55 Stunden wurde die Umsetzung mittels GC als abgeschlossen beurteilt. Nach dem Abkühlen auf Raumtemperatur wurde die Reaktionsmischung filtriert. Das Filtrat wurde in eine wasserlösliche (500 ml) und eine Ethylacetat-lösliche (200 ml) Phase aufgetrennt. Die wäßrige Phase wurde mit 2 · 100 ml Ethylacetat extrahiert. Die vereinigten organischen Phasen wurden mit Wasser gewaschen, dann mit 4%-igem wäßrigen Natriumhydroxid (3 · 200 ml) extrahiert. Die basischen wäßrigen Phasen wurden mit Eis gekühlt und mit konzentrierter Salzsäure angesäuert. Der resultierende weiße Niederschlag wurde durch Vakuumfiltration gesammelt und getrocknet, um 15,5 g eines weißen Feststoffes (Schmp. 175-177ºC) zu ergeben, dessen Struktur mit NMR und GC als mit der Struktur von 3-Chlor-5-methylbenzoesäure konsistent bestimmt wurde.
- Eine Lösung von 2-Methyl-3-nitrobenzoesäure (Schmp. 182-184ºC, 22 g, 0,12 mol) in 400 ml Methanol wurde über Plantinoxid (100 mg) 45 Minuten bei 379,2 kPa [55 Pfund pro Quarat-Inch, "pounds per square inch" (psi)] hydriert, worauf hin der Katalysator durch ein Celitbett (50 g) abfiltriert wurde und das Lösungsmittel bei vermindertem Druck verdampft wurde, um 3-Amino-2-methylbenzoesäure (Schmp. 178-181ºC) in quantitativer Ausbeute zu ergeben (18,3 g).
- Gemahlene 3-Amino-2-methyl benzoesäure (17 g, 0,11 mol) wurde mit Methanol (120 ml) in einem 1-Liter-3-Hals-Rundkolben, welcher mit einem mechanischen Rührer und einem Thermometer ausgestattet war, gemischt. Zu dieser Mischung wurde unter Rühren konzentrierte Schwefelsäure (15,5 ml) tropfenweise zugegeben. Auf die Zugabe stieg die Temperatur der Mischung auf 50ºC. Die Zugabezeit betrug 2 Minuten. Folgend auf die Zugabe wurde der Kolben in ein vorgeheiztes Ölbad gehängt und eine Temperatur von 50-55ºC im Kolben beibehalten. Danach wurde eine tropfenweise Zugabe von Natriumnitrit-Lösung (8,1 g in 17 ml Wasser) gestartet. Als die Temperatur 62ºC erreicht hatte, wurde die Heizung unter dem Ölbad abgeschaltet. Nach zusätzlichen 10 Minuten auf dem Ölbad (die Heizung noch immer abgeschaltet) sank die Temperatur auf 55ºC, an welchen Punkt Natriumhydroxid (50% wäßrig, 55 g) mit Wasser verdünnt (55 ml) tropfenweise über 30 Minuten zugegeben wurde, gefolgt von Wasser (55 ml) in einer Portion und Dimethylsulfat (25 ml), tropfenweise in zwei Portionen (15 ml + 10 ml) über 30 Minuten mit 20 Minuten-Abstand. Es wurde der Reaktionsmischung erlaubt, sich auf Raumtemperatur abzukühlen, woraufhin sie über konzentrierte Schwefelsäure (40 ml), welche mit 360 ml Wasser verdünnt war, geschüttet wurde, das Produkt durch Filtrieren gesammelt wurde und im Vakuum über 24 Stunden getrocknet wurde, um 3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoesäure (12 g) zu ergeben. ¹H-NMR (CDCl&sub3;)δ = 2.50 (s, 3H), 3.85 (s, 3H), 7.03 (d, 1H, Ar), 7.22 (dd, 1H, C-5), 7.59 (d, 1H, Ar) ppm.
- Zu 3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoesäure (454 g, 2,73 mol) in 1300 ml Chloroform, welches 20 g Dimethylformamid enthielt, wurde bei 65ºC Thionylchlorid (390 g) über 6 Stunden tropfenweise zugegeben, worauf hin das Lösungsmittel durch Abdampfen bei reduziertem Druck entfernt wurde. Der Rückstand (512 g) wurde bei 110ºC und einem Druck von 1-2 mm Hg destilliert, um 3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoylchlorid (435 g) zu ergeben.
- Eine Suspension von tert-Butylhydrazin (290 g, 2,33 mol) in Toluol (830 ml) wurde in einem Eisbad auf 5ºC abgekühlt. Mit Eis (180 g) gemischtes Natriumhydroxid (50% wäßrig, 180 g, 2,25 mol) wurde während 30 Minuten langsam zugegeben. Dazu wurde Di-tert-butyldicarbonat (500 g, 2,29 mol) über 2 Stunden zugegeben, während die Temperatur der Reaktion nahe bei 5ºC gehalten wurde. Nach der Vervollständigung wurde es der Reaktion erlaubt, sich auf Raumtemperatur zu erwärmen und sie wurde über Nacht gerührt. Die organische Schicht wurde dann mit Wasser und Salzlösung gewaschen, über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet, filtriert und abgezogen. Das Rohprodukt wurde aus Hexan umkristallisiert, um einen Feststoff (338,7 g) zu ergeben, welcher bei 83-86ºC schmolz. Zu diesem Feststoff (320 g, 1,69 mol) in Toluol (1 L) wurden bei 7ºC 3,5-Dimethylbenzoylchlorid (268 g, 1,59 mol) und Natriumhydroxid (50% wäßrig, 127,23 g, 1,59 mol) gleichzeitig mit so einer Geschwindigkeit zugegeben, daß die Temperatur der Reaktionsmischung bei 5-9ºC blieb. Nach Vollendung der Zugabe (2 Stunden) wurde es der Reaktionsmischung erlaubt, sich auf Raumtemperatur zu erwärmen, woraufhin sie mit Hexan und Wasser verdünnt wurde, und das Produkt abfiltriert wurde. Zusätzliches Produkt wurde durch Waschen der organischen Phase des Filtrats mit Wasser und Salzlösung, Abdampfen des Lösungsmittels, gefolgt Zerreiben mit Hexan erhalten. Der vereinigte Filterkuchen (470 g, 1,5 mol) wurde in Methanol (1500 ml) suspendiert und mit 37%-iger Salzsäure (357 ml, 3,62 mol) mit solch einer Geschwindigkeit behandelt, daß die Temperatur unter 35ºC blieb. Kühlen mit einem Eisbad wurde angewandt. Nachdem die Zugabe vervollständigt war, wurde die Reaktionsmischung 72 Stunden gerührt. Zusätzliche Salzsäure (50 ml) wurde zugegeben und die Reaktion kurz gerührt, dann mit wäßrigem Natriumbicarbonat neutralisiert. Das Produkt wurde abfiltriert, mit Wasser gewaschen und getrocknet, um 256 g N-(3,5-Dimethylbenzoyl)-N-tert-butylhydrazin zu ergeben. ¹NMR δ = 1.47 (s, 9H, t-Bu) 2.31 (s, 6H), 3.73 (s breit, 2H, NH&sub2;), 7.00 (s, 1H, C-4), 7.05 (s, 2H, Ar- C-2 und -6) ppm.
- Eine Lösung von 3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoesäure (1,5 g, 0,01 mol) in Thionylchlorid (10 ml) wurde 45 Minuten unter Rückfluß gekocht und dann unter vermindertem Druck von Lösungsmittel befreit. Der Rückstand wurde in Methylenchlorid (50 ml) gelöst und tropfenweise unter Kühlen bei 0ºC zu einer Lösung von N-(3,5-Dimethylbenzoyl)-N-tert-butylhydrazin (4,4 g, 0,02 mol) in Methylenchlorid (50 ml) tropfenweise zugegeben. Auf die Zugabe folgend wurde die Lösung über Nacht bei Raumtemperatur gerührt und filtriert. Der Filterkuchen wurde ausgiebig mit Wasser und Ether gewaschen und dann im Vakuum getrocknet, um 2,1 g N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3,5-dimethylbenzoyl)-N'- tert-butylhydrazin zu ergeben, welches bei 204-204,5ºC schmolz. ¹H-NMR δ = 1.50 (s, 9H, tert-Bu), 1.63 (s, 3H, Ar-CH&sub3;), 2.25 (s, 6H, di-CH&sub3;), 3.75 (s, 3H, OCH&sub3;), 6.26 (d, 1H, Ar), 6.93 - 7.20 (m, 5H, Ar) ppm.
- Zu einer gerührten Suspension von tert-Butylhydrazinhydrochlorid (397 g, 3,27 mol) in Methylenchlorid (2 l) wurde bei 0ºC mit Wasser (400 ml) verdünntes Natriumhydroxid (50%-ig, wäßrig, 260 g) zugegeben. Darauf folgend wurden 3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoylchlorid (140 g, 0,78 mol) in Methylenchlorid (1 l) und mit Wasser (400 ml) verdünntes Natriumhydroxid (50% wäßrig, 80 g) gleichzeitig bei -20ºC zugegeben. Nachdem die Zugabe vervollständigt war, ließ man die Reaktionsmischung auf Raumtemperatur erwärmen und nach zusätzlichen 30 Minuten wurde die organische Phase mit Wasser (4 · 500 ml) gewaschen, über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet und das Lösungsmittel entfernt, um N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin (177 g) zu ergeben. ¹H- NMR (CDCl&sub3;)δ = 1.19 (s, 9H, t-Bu), 2.29 (s, 3H, CH&sub3;), 3.87 (s, 3H, OCH&sub3;), 6.90 (d, 1H, C-4 oder -6), 6.95 (d, 1H, C-4 oder C-6) 7.19 (dd, 1H, C-5) ppm.
- Zu einer gerührten Lösung von N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin (506 g, 2,14 mol) in Methylenchlorid (1,5 I) wurden bei 5ºC gleichzeitig Lösungen von 3,5-Dimethylbenzoylchlorid (360 g, 2,14 mol) in Methylenchlorid (500 ml) und mit Wasser (400 ml) verdünntes Natriumhydroxid (50% wäßrig, 171,2 g, 2,14 mol) mit einer solchen Geschwindigkeit zugegeben, daß die Temperatur der Mischung 10ºC nicht überstieg. Folgend auf die Zugabe lies man die Reaktionsmischung auf Raumtemperatur erwärmen und es wurde ununterbrochen für eine weitere Stunde gerührt, woraufhin die Reaktionsmischung mit Methylenchlorid (12 I) verdünnt wurde, mit Wasser gewaschen wurde, über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet wurde, filtriert und vom Lösungsmittel befreit wurde, um N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3,5-dimethylbenzoyl)-N'-tertbutylhydrazin (663 g) zu ergeben, welches bei 204-204,5ºC schmolz.
- In einem 500-ml-3-Hals-Rundkolben, welcher mit einem Thermometer, mit einem Rückflußkühler, einem Tropftrichter bzw. Zugabetrichter und einem Magnetrührer ausgerüstet war, wurden 43,2 g (253 mmol) m-Anisoylchlorid in 500 ml Methylenchlorid gegeben. Die Lösung wurde mit Eis gekühlt und in 50 ml Methylenchlorid gelöstes 2-Methyl-2-aminopropanol (56,4 g, 60,4 ml, 633 mmol) wurden langsam unter Rühren zugegeben. Man lies die Mischung auf Raumtemperatur erwärmen und sie wurde über Nacht gerührt. Die Lösung wurde von den Feststoffen abfiltriert und das Lösungsmittel im Vakuum entfernt. Unter Eiskühlung wurde Thionylchlorid (90,8 g, 55,7 ml, 763 mmol) zu dem verbleibenden Öl gegeben. Die Mischung wurde 1 Stunde bei Raumtemperatur gerührt und in 1 l Ether geschüttet. Der Ether wurde dekantiert und das verbleibende Öl wurde vorsichtig in 100 ml 20%-ige Natriumhydroxid unter Eiskühlung geschüttet. Nach mehrmaligem Extrahieren mit Ether wurden die organischen Phasen vereinigt, über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet und das Lösungsmittel im Vakuum entfernt, um ein viskoses gelbes Öl zu ergeben. Das Rohprodukt wurde durch Säulenchromatographie (1 : 1 Ether : Hexan) oder durch Destillieren (5 mm Hg, Sdp. = 150ºC) gereinigt, um einen niedrigschmelzenden Feststoff zu ergeben.
- Ein 5-Liter-4-Hals-Rundkolben, welcher mit einem Tropftrichter, einem Überkopfrührer und einer Stickstoffspülung ausgerüstet war, wurde getrocknet und mit 128 g (623 mmol) 2-(3-Methoxyphenyl)-5,5-dimethyloxazolin in 2,5 l Tetrahydrofuran beschickt. Die Mischung wurde auf -65ºC in einem Trockeneis/Isopropanolbad abgekühlt und 450 ml 1,6 N n-Butyllithium wurde langsam zugegeben. Nach vollständiger Zugabe wurde die Mischung 1,5 Stunden bei -45 bis -30ºC gerührt. Nach dem Abkühlen auf -45ºC wurde Ethyliodid (80 ml, 1 mol) zugegeben. Die Temperatur wurde 20 Minuten auf -45ºC gehalten, man lies die Mischung auf Raumtemperatur aufwärmen und rührte über Nacht. Gesättigtes Ammoniumchlord wurde unter Eiskühlung zugegeben und die Mischung wurde mehrere Male mit Ether extrahiert. Die organischen Extrakte wurden vereinigt, über Natriumsulfat getrocknet und das Lösungsmittel im Vakuum entfernt, um einen öligen Feststoff zu ergeben. Der Feststoff wurde in 1 l 6 N Salzsäure in 3 : 1 Wasser : Methanol gelöst und 15 Stunden zum Rückfluß erhitzt. Die Hydrolyse wurde mit ¹HNMR überwacht und zeigte sich als etwa 75% vollständig. Zusätzliche Säure wurde zugegeben (200 ml 6 N Salzsäure in 3 : 1 Wasser : Methanol) und die Mischung wurde nochmals für 8 Stunden zum Rückfluß erhitzt. Die Mischung wurde auf Eis gekühlt, die Feststoffe wurden gesammelt und in 10% wäßrigem Natriumhydroxid/Methylenchlorid gelöst. Die wäßrige Phase wurde entfernt, angesäuert und filtriert, um einen hellbraunen Feststoff zu ergeben, welcher bei Raumtemperatur luftgetrocknet wurde (53 g). Zusätzliche 23 g Produkt wurden durch weitere saure Hydrolyse des Methylenchloridextrakts erhalten. Der Schmelzpunkt der gewünschten Säure betrug 100- 101ºC.
- In einem 25-ml-Rundkolben wurden 2-Ethyl-3-methoxybenzoylchlorid (0,52 g, 2,9 mmol) und 2 ml Thionylchlorid gegeben. Die Mischung wurde 2 Stunden zum Rückfluß erhitzt und überschüssiges Thionylchlorid wurde in Vakuum entfernt, um 2-Ethyl-3-methoxybenzoylchlorid als einen hellbraunen Feststoff zu ergeben.
- Das Säurechlorid und 0,60 g (2,72 mmol) N-tert-Butyl-N-3,5-dimethylbenzoylhydrazin wurde in 5 ml Methylenchlorid gelöst und die Lösung wurde in einem Eisbad gekühlt. Kaliumcarbonat (0,83 g, 6,0 mmol) in 2 ml Wasser wurde zugegeben und die Mischung wurde zuerst vorsichtig bei 0ºC mehrere Stunden gerührt und dann bei Raumtemperatur über Nacht. Die Methylenchlorid-Phase wurde entfernt und die Mischung wurde noch einmal mit Methylenchlorid extrahiert. Die organischen Phasen wurden vereinigt, über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet und das Lösungsmittel abgedampft. Der resultierende Feststoff wurde mehrere Male mit 1 : 1 Ether: Hexan gewaschen und eine Stunde bei 70ºC getrocknet, um 1,0 g, Schmp. 146ºC, zu ergeben.
- 2-(2-Ethyl-3-methoxy-4-methylphenyl)-5,5-dimethyloxazolin, welches auf die gleiche Weise wie in Beispiel 10 synthetisiert wurde, (2,7 g, 13,1 mmol) und 2, 2 ml (35,3 mmol) Methyliodid wurden in 4 ml Dimethylsulfoxid gelöst. Die resultierende Mischung wurde 18 Stunden bei Raumtemperatur gerührt. Eine Lösung von 4,2 Kaliumhydroxid in 35 ml Wasser wurde zugegeben und die Mischung 8 Stunden zum Rückfluß erhitzt. Etwa 40 g Eis wurden zugegeben und die Lösung wurde mit Ether extrahiert. Die wäßrige Phase wurde mit Eis gekühlt und mit 5%-iger Salzsäure angesäuert. Der resultierende Niederschlag wurde filtriert und luftgetrocknet, um 1,69 g Produkt zu ergeben.
- ¹H NMR (200 MHz, CDCl&sub3;), δ = 7.72 (1H, d, 8 Hz), 7.1 (1H, d, 8 Hz), 3.77 (3H, s), 3.06 (2H, q, 7Hz), 2.36 (3H, s), 1.22 (3H, t, 7Hz) ppm.
- Ein 500 ml Rundkolben, welcher mit einer Stickstoffspülung, Septumeinlaß und einem Magnetrührer ausgerüstet ist, wurde in einer Stickstoffatmosphäre getrocknet und mit 5 g (21,2 mmol) 2-(2,3-Dimethoxyphenyl)-5,5-dimethyloxazolin (welches auf ähnliche Weise wie in Beispiel 10 synthetisiert wurde) und 100 ml Tetrahydrofuran beschickt. Die Lösung wurde auf 10ºC abgekühlt und 58 ml 2 N Isopropylmagnesiumchlorid/Ether wurde zugegeben. Die Mischung wurde über Nacht bei Raumtemperatur gerührt und in einer 1 : 1 Mischung von gesättigtem Ammoniumchlorid und Eis geschüttet. Die Mischung wurde zweimal mit Ether extrahiert, die organischen Phasen wurden vereinigt, über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet und das Lösungsmittel wurde im Vakuum entfernt, um 5,3 g eines gelben Öls zu ergeben. Dieses wurde in 200 ml 6 N Salzsäure gelöst und 8,5 Stunden zum Rückfluß erhitzt. Die Mischung wurde mehrere Male mit Ether extrahiert und die vereinigten organischen Phasen wurden über Natriumsulfat getrocknet. Das Lösungsmittel wurde im Vakuum entfernt, um 4,6 g eines Öls zu ergeben, welches beim Stehenlassen auskristallisierte.
- ¹H NMR (200 MHz, CDCl&sub3;), δ = 7.29 (1H, dd, 1,5, 7,5 Hz), 7.21 (1 H, t, 7,5 Hz), 7.01 (1H, dd, 1,5, 7 Hz), 3.85 (3H, s), 3.65 (1H, m), 1.37 (6H, d, 7 Hz) ppm.
- Zur Beurteilung der insektiziden Aktivität der Verbindungen gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung wurden die folgenden Testverfahren angewandt.
- Eine 600 Teile pro Million (parts per million, ppm) enthaltende Testlösung wurde durch Lösen einer erfindungsgemäßen Verbindung in einer 1 : 1 Aceton : Methanollösung, dann Zugabe von Wasser, um eine 5 : 5 : 90 Aceton : Methanol : Wasserlösung zu ergeben, hergestellt und schließlich wurde ein grenzflächenaktives Mittel mit einer Äquivalentmenge von 28,4 g. (1 ounce) grenzflächenaktives Mittel pro 378,5 l (100 Gallonen) Testlösung zugegeben. Mehrere Verdünnungen wurden aus der 600 ppm-Lösung in Wasser hergestellt. Blatt-Instektizid-Beurteilungen wurden bei einer oder beider der folgenden Schädlinge gemacht: "Southern Armyworm" (SAW), Spodoptera eridania, und "Potato Leafhopper" (PLH), Empoasca fabae.
- Für den Ganzpflanzen-Test mit dem Southern Armyworm wurden einzeln eingetopfte Limabohnenpflanzen (engl. "lima bean plants"), Phaseolus limensis var. Henderson, bis zum Abtropfen [0,094 L/m² (100 Gallonen pro Acre)] mit der Testlösung unter der Verwendung eines DeVilbiss Model Nr. 152 Handsprühers besprüht. Nach dem Trocknen wurden zwei Blätter der Pflanze entfernt und auf ein befeuchtetes Filterpapier in einer Petrischale (100 · 20 mm) gelegt. Die Schale wurde mit [10 third instar] Larven des Southern Armyworms infiziert und mit dem Deckel bedeckt. Wenn die Larven drei Tage nach der Behandlung am Leben waren, wurde das Filterpapier ausgetauscht und frische, unbehandelte Bohnenblätter wurden zugegeben. Alle Behandlungen wurden bei 23,9 bis 26,7ºC (75-80ºF) unter Fluoreszenzlicht in einem gut gelüfteten Raum gehalten. Die Sterblichkeit in Prozent wurde 3 und 6 Tage nach der Behandlung bestimmt.
- Für den Ganzpflanzen-Test mit dem Potato Leafhopper wurden einzeln eingetopfte Fababohnen-Pflanzen, Vicia faba var. Long Pod, bis zum Abtropfen [0,094 L/m² (100 Gallonen pro Acre)] mit der Testlösung unter Verwendung eines DeVilbiss Model Nr. 152 Handsprühers besprüht. Nach dem Trocknen wurden zwei Blätter der Pflanze entfernt und in zwei Petrischalen (50 · 9 mm), ein Blatt pro Schale auf befeuchtetes Filterpapier gegeben. Jede Schale wurde mit fünf [third instar] Nymphen des Potato Leafhoppers infiziert und mit einem festschließenden Deckel bedeckt. Alle Behandlungen wurden bei 23,9 bis 26,7ºC (75-80ºF) unter Fluoreszenzlicht in einen gut gelüfteten Raum gehalten. Die Sterblichkeit in Prozent wurde drei Tage nach der Behandlung bestimmt.
- Für den Test am abgelösten Blatt mit dem Southern Armyworm wurde ein einzelnes Limabohnenblatt, Phaseolus limensis var. Woods'Prolific, auf ein befeuchtetes Filterpapier in einer Petrischale (100 · 20 mm) gelegt. Das Blatt wurde mit der Testlösung unter Verwendung eines rotierenden Drehtisch- bzw. Plattenteller-Sprühers besprüht und trocknen gelassen. Die Schale wurde mit zehn [third instar] Larven des Southern Armyworms infiziert bzw. verseucht und mit dem Deckel bedeckt. Wenn die Larven zwei Tage nach der Behandlung am Leben waren, wurden frische unbehandelte Bohnenblätter zugegeben. Alle Behandlungen wurden bei 23,9 bis 26,7ºC (75-80ºF) unter Fluoreszenzlicht in einem gut gelüfteten Raum gehalten. Die Sterblichkeit in Prozent wurde zwei und fünf Tage nach der Behandlung bestimmt.
- Die folgenden Tabellen erläutern die bevorzugten Verbindungen der vorliegenden Erfindung, beschränken sie jedoch nicht.
- In Tabellen IA und IC sind die SAW (6 Tage) Spalten, Überschriften, die Konzentrationen der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen bei zwei verschiedenen Konzentrationen, 10 und 2,5 Teile pro Million (ppm) und die beobachtete Sterblichkeit in Prozent der Southern Armyworm-Larven bei den angegebenen Konzentrationen nach sechs Tagen unter Verwendung des Ganzpflanzentests, wenn nicht anders bezeichnet aufgelistet. Tabelle IA - Verbindungen Nr. 1-72
- (1) NT zeigt an, daß die Verbindung bei der bestimmten Konzentration nicht getestet wurde.
- (2) Getestet unter Verwendung der Methode des abgelösten Blatts, Beobachtungen wurden nach vier Tagen gemacht. Tabelle IC - Verbindung Nr. 79

Claims (13)
1. Insektizide Verbindung der Formel N-(2-Ra-3-Rb-4-Rh-benzoyl)-N'-(2-Rc-3-Rd-
4-Re-5-Rf-benzoyl)-N'-Rg-hydrazin, wobei Ra (C&sub1;-C&sub6;)Alkyl bedeutet, Rb (C&sub1;-
C&sub4;)Alkoxy, gegebenenfalls mit Halogen substituiert, bedeutet, Rc
Wasserstoff bedeutet, Rd und Rf jeweils unabhängig voneinander ausgewält sind
aus Wasserstoff, Brom, Chlor, Fluor, (C&sub1;-C&sub6;)Alkyl, (C&sub1;-C&sub4;)Alkoxy und (C&sub1;-
C&sub4;)Alkoxy(C&sub1;-C&sub3;)alkyl, Re Wasserstoff bedeutet, Rg (C&sub4;-C&sub6;)Alkyl bedeutet
und Ra Wasserstoff bedeutet.
2. Insektizide Verbindung nach Anspruch 1, wobei Ra (C&sub1;-C&sub3;)Alkyl bedeutet,
Rb (C&sub1;-C&sub4;)Alkoxy bedeutet, Rc Wasserstoff bedeutet, Rd und Rf jeweils
unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus Wasserstoff, Brom, Chlor,
Fluor, (C&sub1;-C&sub3;)Alkyl-, (C&sub1;-C&sub4;)Alkoxy und (C&sub1;-C&sub2;)Alkoxy(C&sub1;-C&sub2;)alkyl, Re
Wasserstoff bedeutet, Rg (C&sub4;-C&sub6;)Alkyl bedeutet und Rh Wasserstoff bedeutet.
3. Insektizide Verbindung nach Anspruch 2, wobei Ra Methyl oder Ethyl
bedeutet, Rb Methoxy, Trifluormethoxy oder Ethoxy bedeutet, Rd und Rf
jeweils unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus Wasserstoff, Brom,
Chlor, Fluor, Methyl, Methoxy und Methoxymethyl, Rc und Re beide
Wasserstoff bedeuten und Rg tert-Butyl, Neopentyl oder Methylneopentyl
bedeutet.
4. Insektizide Verbindung nach Anspruch 3, wobei Ra Methyl oder Ethyl
bedeutet, Rb Methoxy oder Ethoxy bedeutet, Rd und Rf jeweils unabhängig
voneinander ausgewählt sind aus Wasserstoff, Brom, Chlor, Fluor, Methyl
und Methoxy, Rg tert-Butyl bedeutet und Rc, Re und Rh Wasserstoff
bedeuten.
5. Insektizide Verbindung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, ausgewählt aus:
N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3-chlor-5-methylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3,5-dimethylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3,5-dichlorbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3-methylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-benzoyl-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3-methoxy-5-methylbenzoyl)-N'-tertbutylhydrazin,
N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3-methoxybenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,

N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3,5-dimethylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
N-(3-Ethoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3,5-dimethylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3-methylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3,5-dichlorbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin, und
N-(3-Methoxy-2-methylbenzoyl)-N'-(3-methoxy-5-methylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-
butylhydrazin.
8. Insektizide Verbindung nach Anspruch 1, ausgewählt aus:
N-(2-Ethyl-3-methoxybenzoyl)-N'-(3,5-dimethylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
N-(2-Ethyl-3-methoxybenzoyl)-N'-(3-chlor-5-methylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
N-(2-Ethyl-3-methoxybenzoyl)-N'-(3-methoxybenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
N-(2-Ethyl-3-methoxybenzoyl)-N'-(3-methylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin,
und
N-(2-Ethyl-3-methoxybenzoyl)-N'-(3,5-dimethylbenzoyl)-N'-tert-butylhydrazin.
9. Insektizide Zusammensetzung, umfassend eine oder mehrere Verbindungen
nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche und einen landwirtschaftlich
annehmbaren Träger.
10. Insektizide Zusammensetzung, umfassend eine oder mehrere Verbindungen
nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8 und ein grenzflächenaktives Mittel.
11. Verfahren zur Bekämpfung von Insekten, welches das Kontaktieren der
Insekten mit einer insektizid wirksamen Menge einer Verbindung nach
einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8 oder einer insektiziden Zusammensetzung
nach Anspruch 9 oder 10 umfaßt.
12. Verfahren nach Anspruch 11, wobei die Insekten aus der Gattung
Lepidoptera oder Homoptera sind.
13. Verwendung einer Verbindung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8 oder
einer Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 9 oder 10 zur Bekämpfung von
Insekten.
