Description

phenol-Phtalems.
Darstellung des symmetrischen Diäthyldiphenyl - Rho damin s (Phenyl äthylm-amidophenol-Phtalein).
Man verschmilzt z. B. 16 kg m-Oxyäthyldiphenylamin
mit 6 kg Phtalsäureanhydrid und 10 kg Chlorzink während 5 Stunden im OeI-bad
bei ca. 175 bis 1850C.
Die kupferglänzende Schmelze wird nach dem Pulvern mit verdünnter Salzsäure, dann
mit verdünnten Alkalien und hierauf wieder mit verdünnter Salzsäure ausgezogen. Schliefslich
wird der Farbstoff in salzsäurehaltigem Sprit umgelöst.
Er bildet ein kupferglänzendes, in Wasser unlösliches, in Sprit leicht lösliches Pulver.
Auf Seide erzeugt er ein fluorescirendes rothstichiges Violett.
Claims (1)
- Patent-Anspruch:Verfahren zur Darstellung von symmetrischem Diäthyldiphenyl - Rhodamin (Phenyläthyl-m-amidophenol-Phtale'in), darin bestehend, dafs an Stelle des in dem Patent-Anspruch 3. des Haupt-Patentes genannten Dimethyl- oder Diäthyl - m - amidophenols 2 Molecule Aethylphenyl - m - amidophenol (m - Oxyäthyldiphenylamin) durch Erhitzen mit Phtalsäureanhydrid (1 Molecül) mit oder ohne Gegenwart von wasserentziehenden Mitteln condensirt werden.
